I pulled my mowerdeck out the shed after 12 years AND had all teh brackets etc. Never thought about adjusting it. Now I will. Ah 15mm wrench for the belt. It is fall in Wisconsin and so "raking" the leafs is now a 10 minute effortless job. Thank you.
@@WeekendHobbyMechanic I think the last time I set the height I used a 2x4, which measures 1-3/4" thick. Stupid me! But I do think that tightening the front screw raises rather than lowers the deck, I've got a new one on order as the threads are stripped. On second look, the 'training wheels' on the deck look a little worn. Awaiting valve cover gaskets for an adjustment there. When my L120 engine goes, I'll just buy another engine. Can't beat this mower. Best wishes, Sir!

Thanks...helpful video
The West McLaren shirt is waaaaaaaaay to nice to be garage clothes!!!
I agree….
The book says to lift the rear up just a little bit more than the front
👍. Raise the rear or lower the front. Both do the same thing.
How do the black hanging brackets hang from the mower? I've found NOO diagrams on it.
Check this video at 0.50mins.

whats the other hole for on the front deck mount?
???? That’s a good question.
If I use a level on the deck will that work also ?
You can. Then check the blades after.
Nice. Thanks!
👍
I thought the front of the deck is supposed to be a half an inch higher than the rear at least that’s what it says when I look it up
Lower in the front.
I wish it was that easy.
My L120 definitely doesn’t look as nice as this one
if you had 2inch at the front you still lowered it 3/4 turn
It just lowers the blades down 1/8in.
L120's were made 2003-2005. Machine looks unused.
Thanks…
