He’s the reason I’ve been hitting dingers for the past 3yrs
Hmmm...
Ive probably watched about 400 videos on batting practice
For Like the past 2-3 weeks I've been outside hitting off the tee for about 150-220 swings a day
and let me tell you
I went to my baseball game (And nobody swings right in my league)
And so when i swung perfectly the umpire said, ''That was an amazing swing.'' ''Great Cgi. It was a pleasure to watch.'' After i rounded all the bases.
I plan on swinging everyday for 100-200 balls a day for the next 40 years.
The farthest I've hit off a batting tee is roughly 240
That said tho... I've still got a lot more to learn
Once the season starts, best believe I'll binge all these vids.
Once the season starts, it's too late. No time like the present to practice & fine tune your game, so you're ready to hit the field @ 100% when the season starts.
@@stevebealefeld3177 you're absolutely right. Good thinking.
look at Steve man, so inspirational
First ive been making the mistake of holding that bat in my palm my whole life thank you for the fix
Thank you for the great grip video! I'm learning alot how to hit the Baseball correctly!
Thank you for your tips on gripping the bat.
ALWAYS !! excellent advice.
Hey Justin! I just want to tell you that your videos are great. I'm coaching travel ball 12U for the first time this season and I've been watching your videos and learning all sorts of things to teach my players. I've always been a student of the game and I appreciate your insight. It helps to have a modern outlook on teaching fundamentals instead of going through the same drills I did 25 years ago. I feel it's important to the game to have a fundamentally sound ball club. Your instructions make perfect sense and it helps me transfer that knowledge to my ballplayers! Thank you! ⚾ #hustle
The batting grip is so underrated! Great video!
Awesome video. Tips were on point with not gripping in the palms but through the fingers.
Great video Justin, this is the reason i tell so many young coaches to come here .
Nice video coach Justin I will use this thanks a lot man
You're welcome, Max! Thanks for tuning in!
We began aligning our door knocking knuckles this season and my 12U son went from batting .250 last year to .750 so far after 14 game this season. Huge improvement.
Just watched this guys tips before my game just hit my first finger thank you man for the tips
Great video! I was wondering do you think it helps that I throw a tennis ball against my wall and field it with a glove like a grounder or are their better ways to work on grounders?
That's a great way to work on it! Nothing compares to getting real ground balls -- but throwing a tennis ball against a wall is a great way to get better with limited space and equipment! You can make it more challenging by doing it barehand instead of with your glove
Blaine W I do the same but when I get real grounders it feels like they have different bounces
DrummerReviewss yeah that’s why I was wondering if it is a good workout because of the weight difference but I think it helps more then it hurts
Ultimate Baseball Training thank you I will definitely do that more often
Blaine W yeah
I have a question what about your bottom hand. Should I also Aline the bat to my fingers as well or have it on palm.
Every since I watched this video last month I haven’t struck out in 12 games thanks bro. I’m 16 going against 18 and 19u
Thanks Paul Walker these tips were helpful
Lol
Hey coach medical problem.
When I'm swinging, my upper back hip absolutely feels terrible. I don't know if it's mechanics, or if I should just be staying off it, but I was wondering if you have advice.
I think its your mechanics cuz sometimes when i lose my balance in the box and swing it hurts
I will try these I’ll tell u how it goes
AWESOME COACH .... I'VE ALWAYS TOLD KIDS NOT TO SQUEEZE THE BAT JUST RELAX LIKE A FLICKER JAB IN BOXING
Good brother, I hope you are well, I need a pitching drill and also training exercises at home to increase miles, Please Thank you !!!
Check his channel, just had loads of them on there all winter long
@@nc_mtbmedic1399 Thanks friend, you are looking for it on your channel
Check baseball pitching towel drill, believe he has more under the playlist
Line up the knockers is, in my opinion, the best grip overall. Takes a while to get used to it, but your bat will stay on/in the hitting plane longer, therefore giving the hitter a better shot of hitting the properly.
Hey man thank for the videos I play baseball for school and travel all of ur videos help me so much thank you ! Keep posting more videos
Well damn I've been a palm holder my whole life
Do u have any tips on how to hit fast pitchers throwing breaking ball
Ju Young Kim always expect a fastball so your not behind it. If a curve comes hold back a little bit amd sit on it. If there aren’t two strikes you don’t even need to swing. Best thing you can do is be selective and find a fastball that you like
Ghat Nappi thx
So it’s one standard grip for everyone’s hands? I don’t understand
But I don't have door knocking knuckles. I've got Gorilla dragging knuckles
The box grip works for people with very large hands. Others who use it will find the bat handle slide into their palms.
Don’t use either put the bat where the fingers meet the pads.
Hello friend, I hope you are well, it will be possible that you can upload videos of how to increase miles at home during the quarantine I need to upload my miles, Thanks !!!
First
Thanks for watching! I hope you enjoy!
I don't agree, you lose wrist snap power holding the bat too far out on your fingers You also lose some control. The great power hitters like Aaron and Mays got their power from that wrist snap at contact. Grip the bat in the palm with an overly strong grip and twist your hands in an inward direction as you squeeze. The bat will naturally go slightly toward the fingers but should sit more or less on the callouses just below your fingers.Your top thumb should naturally want to straighten. Look at some old pictures of Aaron and especially Willie May's and you'll see what I mean.
Baseball is BIG in Kentucky! We love you here, Justin! But, our Governor is sort of the piece of Sh*# that wants to keep baseball down for too long.
Thanks Paul walker
