This has been on my mind lately and I didn’t really know who to tell so I come to you.You don’t know me and I don’t know you.Anonymously.This is my first step :I’m not in love with baseball.I’m on the Varsity Team for my school and I don’t like the coaches, the people or the environment.I’m always alone and there is always drama in my team.I always get anxiety whenever I have to be near them. When it’s a rainy day I feel relieved because practice gets cancelled.I didn’t mention that I’m in 9th grade; I should have brought this up simply because I tell myself only 3 more years then it won’t matter anymore.I don’t want to lose the title of an athletic student.I like having the benefits.I just don’t like the sport, but I feel like if I quit I lose my place.I will just be another student.I would feel guilty if I didn’t do anything in my time in high school. But the sport stresses me out so much. Now that I would have to make my own decision, but I would really appreciate your opinion. Thank you for hearing me out.

You added two great tips to my teachings. 1) Keep elbows same distance apart 2) Analogy to climbing a rope. I offer one of my own: Figure skaters keep their hands close to their body to spin fastest in the air. Hitters who disengage from the core prior to spinning slow down their rotation. Because they are late they try to disengage sooner, which has the opposite effect and slows them down even more. Hug yourself, love yourself, till your hands get in front of you and you'll love your swing.

Thank you so much for your videos! We (you, me and my son) just transformed my son's swing, your videos, this video particularly, is our source of info. Mid season I noticed him rolling over on contact, not getting inside but rather cast thru zone slightly, shoulders level causing top arm to straighten. Few hours of T work with your videos and he now looks like your swing in this video. First BP today went well and big improvements!! Thanks again!!

Perfect video , with practice starting I can really work on not only my kids swing but other kids on the team that get long and "disconnected".

Great tips, coach... especially the 'elbow distance' tip... this is the major difference between pro swings and not so good swings. Nice job!

Maybe getting one of those Rebound Nets could be better than nothing. You throw at the target and it springs the ball back to you

Hey, My name is Josh Hill and I have just made the middle school team and I’m needing someone to tell me what to do to fix my swing. If you could do this I will send a video of my swing and you could give feedback.
    Thanks,
    Josh Hill

They don't let kids climb ropes in school anymore. Too dangerous for the poor cherubs. In fact looking at you I'm surprised they still had the rope when you were in school.
