This is what i ve been searching for, a simple way to understand how to wire the relay properly to my car stereo because i ve an Equalizer connected to it but it doesnt turn on the way its suppose to. Now my question is, how do i use the relay to turn on/off the stereo normally with the equalizer at the same time with ignition? Will the power pin be ignition wire or battery wire?

Cool video and well explained. I want to install an amp for a Bluetooth system to my motorcycle. I want it to work on switched power, no constant power. So, if I use a relay I wont need a fuse? Would I need a 4 or 5 pin?

May I use ONE relay to turn on many accessories. Like a Remote turn on for two Amps (not battery power), LCD TVs, LED lights.. etc?
i have a box truck. i want to install a 5k power inverter. looking to have the power inverter powering a light,receptacles,microwave,tv, and some charging stations in the back of the box truck. i would like it to be on a relay switch as to when i want to operate the inverter all i have to do is turn on a switch. Also, want it to be turned on ONLY when the vechile is turned off. (would this drain my battery??? dont want a big gauge wire running to the switch. im guessing im going to need a relay???? now what size relay?? and would a relay be needed???

dont need but make sure you fuse the constant power wire

awesome use a 5 pin relay and wire it on 87a then when when your vehicle starts it will break contact with 87a and turn off the inverter well you engine is runing
