Our first test was cutting 4" x 12" ceramic tile
Test #2 was cutting the same tile but in a bullnose

At the end of his cuts, he never slows down to let the blade cut. He continues pushing with the same force and that is what makes a jagged break at the end.

If you hold the left side of the tile to stable it it won’t cause the tile to chip off of the right side
Suppose to slow down when get to the end of tile and will not chip
How would I make two beveled miter cuts for an outside verticals corner??? I have one, it’s basically the same as any cheap tabletop wet saw. It just looks different.
Is the sliding tray level with the other side someone said it was higher which would cause breakage just wondering before I buy it
Yes, just got the corded one and one side is slightly higher than the other. Hope I can fix that. I will call Porter Cable to see if can get help.
At the 7:30 mark of the video our Porter Cable saw chips out every cut at the end just like the pieces shown in the video. Is there anything that can be done, is it the uneven surfaces? Curious...
Instead of making one cut. Saw half way through, flip it, and finish the cut.

I dry cut porcelain L and U shaped cuts with a Makita 18v 4'' grinder so this wet cutter should have plenty of power for that with the right blade installed. I only ever use my Dewalt 2600 for stone as for anything else it's overkill. Porter Cable need a UK distributor though before I can get one at a reasonable price. Makita are foolish for not making a similar machine. Good to see also that the Porter Cable batteries can be used on Makita 18v tools with a cheap adaptor. Sites are getting really funny about dust extraction now so wet cutting is the may to go.
Terrible showing. Long winded explainations, and poor form cutting. You complain about it chipping at the end but that was your fault for not applying pressure to both sides! Of course it's going to chip! It's being held together by next to nothing, and your applying force to just one side. You have to guide the other side and apply inward pressure and it won't do that. Also you didn't test the average battery life, or cutting quartz/porcelain/travertine etc. Maybe I wasn't your target audience because I do tile for a living, but I don't see what a homeowner would get out of this video either.

Cutting aluminum with a diamond blade is not good it will clog it up and require cleaning
At that price get a ridgid 7 inch wet saw
Looks like a primitive tile saw . I'll just stack to my rigieds one. Little bit bigger but no problems .
Sometimes when on site for remodels, etc. when working in clients homes….using full size saws is tough.
Space.
Water.
Etc.
If havujg to setup outside, that is extra steps. Steps is time. Time is $.

It’s chipping because you have a terrible blade that comes with it. The tile saw itself is great but you need to throw that blade and get a decent diamonds blade and you’ll be good

Right?! 20 cuts later and he is still blowing the corners off. Its NOT the blade! He is just pushing through that last half inch wayyy too fast. You always have to creep very slowly out of the cut. 30 seconds into the video I was thinking "here's Harry Homeowner with a generic how to vid".
Just get a better blade that blade is shit
