I wish I had a sister! So Jellie you too! Traci that vest is everything...any guy would love to wear it. Jodi, love that yellow bag. You two make awesome stuff. Thanks for bringing so much sunshine into the knitting/crochet/crafty world. Hugs and Blessings.
You two ladies have become part of my family. I tell my daughters about you as if you were sisters, aunties, etc, just part of the family. All you do and say is very on point. Love you lots Jodi and Traci. hugs from Vancouver. Lupita
Thank you for doing these weekly! I hoard the episodes as they make me laugh and smile watching you. It helps start the day off or manage a stressful day better! ❤️
I'm so glad you showed the Estelle yarns, many of us are on fix incomes and cannot afford the expensive yarns. There are so so many gorgeous yarns out there, in the end it is all about having fun and creating and creativity.
OMG! I am knitting the Rolling Pastures Shawl right now! I love it! It's a great pattern. So well written. I had never used a chart until this pattern. It made the transition so easy! I can't say enough how great it is!
I couldn't catch you live yesterday but it was a treat this morning! You always make my day! You two are the queens of enabling! Jodi-your sweater is gorgeous, what a perfect yarn and fit! Tracie- I agree with Jodi, your knitting is outstanding! Can't wait to see Jodi's yellow hat next time and Tracie's linen top. Have a great week!
My new kitten Gus Gus loves you two! He sits and watches you with me. I have video of it. It's so cute! Thank you, I look forward to Thursday so much !
I am so glad you both are talking about more reasonable priced yarns, I found you both on show off our needles , then found you here a couple weeks ago. I went back to watch your beginning shows, just love you guys, Yarns I am having troubles choosing, yarn and colors. I spent the winter learning to knit, and am satisfied I’m ready to go on anything I choose. Yarn is so expensive though, yet the things I knit I want it to last.
Hi ladies! So nice to finally be able to catch up with your podcast :) You kept me company as I unpack and tidy up my studio at home. Thank you so much for the shout out! Big, big hugs to you both! xoxo
"Stand In The Gap" is a phrase that is as old as the Old Testament. I think it is great that the idea behind it is getting a boost because it should be how everyone lives their lives at all times.
I'm with you Traci....I can't stand the heat. I attribute it to my Nordic roots:). Give me the cold any day. Can always put more on to get warm but you can't take enough off and still be decent. Love you ladies!
Today is the 44th anniversary of my husband’s and my getting engaged- yes we did get married 10/2/76. Six kids, a law degree, and 5 grands later, I have to say watching you two is EVER so much better than trying to learn the Hustle;)!! Love you guys!!
Ok, I'm late for the travelog portion of the show, but I now live in the heart of Cajun country in st Martinville, Louisiana. It is definitely hot. Still have knitters. Yours was my first knit podcast. Thank you guys. Love you.
You ladies are the best 💖 always a joy spending time with you! Beautiful and such generous giveaways, WIP and FO’s and sharing your purchases. So much love! 💗 and gauzy sack 🤣😂 the second Jodi said it I snorted out loud 🙈😆
Tracie you will love love love Laura Nelkin’s patterns! I’ve done many and have belonged to her clubs for years. So happy you’ve featured her on your podcast! She’s the best!
We have neighbors that don’t care for their yard like we believe they should...think I’ll start a UA-cam channel...lol!! Then another neighbor only mows during our favorite tv show...no specific evening Sunday night one season, Wednesday night another. We don’t discuss it...he just knows. Thanks for persevering!
Thank you for podcasting whether you have been knitting or not. I have been following you two for years. It is like visiting with friends both in good and bad times.
Just started watching today's episode, so not LIVE, but want to let you know I look forward to watching each week. I crack up each time you say, "Hello Jimmie" and I haven't heard it in weeks! You two are so much fun. Keep on being YOU. Hugs from a 'thick' girl who loves A.C. as well! What would we do without UA-cam during a pandemic. Yes, it's so much more than just knitting!
I signed up to the newsletter!! So excited to see what your site will look like. :) So happy for you!! On the 18th of Octobre my boyfriend and I will be together for nine years!!!
Hey Ladys thanks for your video. I like the 10 percent happier podcast and app by Dan Harris. They talk about the topic from a meditation viewpoint. They have a free meditation list about racism. So they help you to deal with the whole thing. Might not be for everyone but I like it. Great interviews on the podcast as well. Have a great week
Shrimp cake.. shrimp cake? Shrimp CAKE. The 3rd time you said it I busted up laughing and then you said it a forth time and I scream laughed. Omg that was funny. 😂😂😂😂
The lawnmower! Our neighbor seems to be on a completely different schedule than anyone else. Often on a Friday or Saturday afternoon when everyone else is ready to kick back on the patio with a beverage and a book or with family/friends this neighbor decides to mow. What the heck?! And he has a double lot that is mostly lawn so he mows and mows and then edges. I am thankful he maintains his yard but Friday at 5?
Yes Jodi!! It has been so awesome seeing you tackle Mackenzie's pronouns!! You got every single one this time!! I'm so inspired. I've been working on pronouns with a trans friend and it just warms my heart so much. Love you ladies!!
Hey you guys, I was born and raised and went to school in the US. I was a history major in college. I JUST learned about the Tulsa OK massacre in 1921. That is a shame.
Jodi check out the Stockholm Slipover, a Petite Knit vest pattern. Fingering and mohair held together, mostly in the round apart from the fun way you do the shoulders.Round neck rather than V. Wearing mine every day!
Wow! You snooze you lose :( I've been watching the Etsy shop for Muffy and I'm late to the show - 5 days after the announcement, and she's gone already *sniff*

This is my first year in a long time that I haven't gone to Elk Island Park to celebrate the solstice. COVID is a party pooper.
Jodi, What is the pattern of your sweater? I am learning to knit and that looks like it might be one I could do.
Autumn League Sweater on Ravelry
Hi, from San Diego
will the Linen Top be as cool-wearing (I mean as summerclothing) as the Cedarpullover?
Hello from Santa Rosa Beach Florida
Hey! Crestview Florida here!
The crime rate goes up as the heat increases. I was born and raised in AZ and I hide inside the air conditioning all summer/fall
Hello from Albuquerque, NM!
I really appreciate the nod to affordability, especially with so many laid off. Just wish we didn’t have to incorporate acrylic.

Missed Muffy pin...🥺🥺🥺 will be looking for her comeback!
I did not know town living was so noisy. We live in the country and the neighbor's lawnmower is a low hum.
