Used the Rusty’s plate as well, and greatly appreciate it was one piece. And, I’ve got to mention the service Rusty’s (and Rusty himself) provided. Rarely been more pleased with a purchase. Of course, I enjoy the videos and love the JL!
I always enjoy watching your videos for the information but mainly because of the originality of your characters. Yall are both cool down to earth people. Keep it up!!
1:29 Floor drain plug..No time for pit stops ..Pee in a cup, pour down floor drain..Eliminates tossing out the window at speed, accidental splash, blow back..Or, can use a large funnel...
Wayalife did a video on putting the 37" tire on the back...they did some fab work to keep tension on the tire so it's not jouncing around over bumps. The video includes a step by step of how they did it. May be worth checking out. Jeep looks amazing you guys and the Vette is FIRE!!!!
Thanks for the videos, we enjoy them a lot. We live in Utah and have a red JLU like yours but a manual. Took it down to Moab last week and had a blast. Can't wait for more videos from you guys.
Wow you guys made that look easy. I was going to have mine installed but after watching this I might just give it a shot. I'll bet the Vette was an impulse purchase lol. When I bought my Viper I just walked in looking at truck and drove it home. My wife says "I thought you were buying a truck".
Rusty Taflinger Oh yeah. We sold our Land Cruiser with the intent of saving money & a week later flew to Vegas to buy the Z06. We just have zero self-restraint when it comes to cars. Haha
Awesome video guys! You both have great taste in cars, your Vette is super badass and it's the perfect color! Your JL is still my favorite, looking forward to see all the mods you guys do. And seeing some badass driving and spotting!
Wow I'm stalking you guys older stuff haha. I had those same type lil mats for my Jeep GC Trailhawk when I had it. Have them for my truck I have now, love them.
Hell yeah, Z06's are awesome, love black on white too. I'd love a C7 GTLM race version........lol. The winch plate looks like a great chassis rail end plate to help with strength too, def help with chassis flex off-road.
I see the Vette has no scratches either? What about poor ole big Bertha, she's gotta be jealous. Thanks for the videos, love how you never put back ground music to the video. They don't understand you need to hear the vehicle. Go ahead and install a dash cam, it'll get the shots you miss. Keep'em coming
Awesome video as always. The hoody says 信頼性 (shin-rai-sei) , which is the Japanese word for reliability. Usually used in a technical context, as opposed to say, a person. Just in case you were wondering...
Really enjoying your videos! Informative, well spoken, relevant information. Nice work. If I could make one small suggestion, it would be to invest in a wireless mic. It makes a world of difference to be able to hear someone on camera when they are standing at a distance and also makes the video appear more professional. Keep up the great work!
LOL we got this dope ass “wench” for our jeep oh and a zO6 but look at this winch . I did a double take and was like“ a z06 !” to hell with the the winch let’s talk about that . You guys always surprise me .
Hey Brittany, have you had a chance to use the U-Connect Stereo much? 10:54 Have you uploaded any APPs into the stereo? I am curious to know if the MAGELLAN TRX COMPANION APP can be uploaded into the stereo; and, then, does the app work? Getting ready to finally get my own JLU. All my goals have been met. Time to enjoy. Want to know if the onboard nav is worth getting. Most youtubers don't show their onboard nav and when they do, it's either OFF, or shows a little triangle in a big green field, with absolutely no data; meaning, the onboard nav is worthless; when, offroad. If the Magellan App works in the stereo, that's freakin GAME CHANGING
I love the modifications you guys are making on the jeep it's looking more aggressive, I can't wait till that day comes when I get my jeep, because I want to travel from montana to Alaska not sure where in Alaska but I'm up for an adventure.
Matthew Ramirez We were planning an overloading trip with friends from Colorado to Alaska in August, but something else came up that we can't miss. But it is definitely on our TO DO list!
Hey guys. Love what you’ve done with the place! (The Jeep) Question, what actual tire size your running, are you able to air down (curious about popping a bead with narrow wheel width) and are you running spacers. Thanks
Hi guys ,can you tell me if the jl rubicon ,auto uses all 8 gears in low range? Thanks Danny (from Australia, expecting release of jl here in February! Cant wait
Just found the channel. Been watching all the old vids to catch up. Hate to be nosy but what do you guys do for a living? I’m obviously in the wrong job. Lol
Love your videos. Just got my 2019 Rubicon with the factory steal bumper option. QUESTION I want the same winch set up you have, but can not find the winch mounting bracket at Rusty's I know its a long shot BUT do you have the part number for Rusty's mounting brackets. PS Come visit us in the Smoky Mountains for some Tennessee Off Roading.
How’s that winch holding up? I’m really struggling with spending the money on a Warn. The comments on the reviews for Smittybilt/Barricade are 50/50 good/bad.
kam far Due to its low clearance and not having low range, we don't really take it offroading. We use it mostly as our main Tow vehicle and as an awesome daily (being a TDI, it's our only vehicle that get phenomenal fuel economy).
Wow I honestly cannot believe Jeep had given you literally a new Jeep. Quick question. How the hell did they except that jeep considering you put a 2.5 inch lift and bigger tires on?
You'll get sick of that vette quick. I got sick of mine pretty quick. The jeep is way more fun. The vette gets attention for all the wrong reasons and is one-dimensional. I like the JL. I might get one. I had a JK and traded it for the vette (big mistake).
The core is magnesium but those exterior plates are Aluminum and have been known to crumple with a bit of stress. Pretty sure they're not rated for anything larger than 35"s.
Get a stinger to protect your rear before you go hard core...If that tire hangs up sadness will abound on the Lite Brite Jeep! Awesome sauce on the Z06! Mine is white too! Enjoy!
OMFG!!! Just skeeted a little in my pants, that white Z is f'n BEAST!! That's my dream car I almost pulled the trigger on but decided on baby #2 instead hah... I love jeeps to death and then you two go and buy my favorite car! WTF, lol... Can I live with you all haha jk... Sweet ass videos/vehicles.... BTW - what do you all do for a living, seems like the Z came out of nowhere but really happy for you all! Do a vid on the Z soon 😉😁
GsXtC21 Kev has worked with insurance for a long time and I recently just left the dealership life. The Z06 wasn't exactly planned. Haha One of those "our entire lives are a midlife crisis" decision. 🤣🤣
Brian B Because we don't have money. Lol We own too many cars to have money. 🤣🤣 Also, people talked smack about the Smitty Built winch on our FJ80, but it lifted that fat ass out a plenty of sketchy situations with zero issues. More money doesn't always mean better. Sometimes, but not always. 😁
I hear ya i had a gen 1 xrc8 on my old rubicon and it was pretty badass for only $300. Let me ask you how is the road noise with the Goodyear mtrs I ve been looking at getting a set for my new JKU?
Brian B Road noise isn't bad when they're new, obviously as you tear them up it gets louder. But honestly, we wish we would've stuck with the STT Pros. Best all-around favorite tire we've had so far.
emm...Don't wear strange shirt PLZ ,Beause that chinese means" trust sex" on 1:40.By the way ,I like your video very much ,because I like new jeep wrangler .thanks!

So fun to look back at the stepchild :) and see where is it now! a big hemi, dana 80/60, badass STEPCHILD on steroïde :)

You my friend are a LUCKY MAN!!! My wife made me buy this cool car, then helped me fit the winch to the Rubicon........ lucky guy! 👍🏻😂
Thanks, I have the same bumper on my 2015 JKU, gonna have to look into that winch and mount set up!
You guys give a lot of useful information but also crack me up! Hopefully will be getting my JL in September.
It is grate to see you guys working together on the vehicles🔧 especialy on the jl. that in my opinion is very especial! Awesome video guys!
I have a Grand Sport and a Rubicon so it makes sense. And I live in Colorado! Love your videos!
Nice ride! Looking forward to seeing you guys on trail!
Cool my 2018 JL Rubicon came with those floor mate. Just got it a week ago. Great video.
Thanks for the videos, we enjoy them a lot. We live in Utah and have a red JLU like yours but a manual. Took it down to Moab last week and had a blast. Can't wait for more videos from you guys.
Sure, doesn't take much to convince us for a Moab weekend.
Wow you guys made that look easy. I was going to have mine installed but after watching this I might just give it a shot. I'll bet the Vette was an impulse purchase lol. When I bought my Viper I just walked in looking at truck and drove it home. My wife says "I thought you were buying a truck".

If you are ever in central California "San Luis obispo" come and check out the stair steps trail in Pozo

Finally looking to install a winch and referring to this old video
Great video guys!!
Nice, put mine on Sunday, had to pull the winch to put on that ground so dont feel bad LOL
Coming together nicely. I'm just struggling to even get bumpers.
I simply love your jeep
Vette ok. Jeep is freaking awesome! Nice video for the noobs.
Awesome Vett.

Did u guys ever check out the pedal commander?
Another great video🤙🏼
so when you put these 37's on...were those still the 17" stock wheels ?? - thanks

Lite Brite looking forward to seeing that trip happen
Matthew Ramirez (
Kevin, I'm behind times, what happened to the first JLUR? (reference from above about swapping tires to New JLUR.)
Love you Britney and Kevin your guys so cool 😎
Hey guys. Love what you’ve done with the place! (The Jeep)

New jeep🥰🥰🥰🥰
Just found the channel. Been watching all the old vids to catch up. Hate to be nosy but what do you guys do for a living? I’m obviously in the wrong job. Lol
What lift to add to your Jeep?
Love your videos. Just got my 2019 Rubicon with the factory steal bumper option. I'm still deciding what winch to go for..
What's your recommendation?
well look at that. Is that an Aggie ring she has on?
Ryan Meador Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2013! WHOOP! 😄
I was wondering how she was so cool. Gig 'Em!
Kevin, are you a TX guy too?
Ryan Meador Nahhh, he's from Las Vegas (although he lived in Texas for a while).
hahah, Class of 2003, Whoop
It seems tourage has never seen mud or rocks although its as capable as jl . Any thing planed for tourage
kam far Due to its low clearance and not having low range, we don't really take it offroading. We use it mostly as our main Tow vehicle and as an awesome daily (being a TDI, it's our only vehicle that get phenomenal fuel economy).
How did you tint your windows . What percent did you pick . Thanks
1:31 Oh, I thought this hole for fishing...
Arthur Tereshkov That too! 😄
Wow I honestly cannot believe Jeep had given you literally a new Jeep. Quick question. How the hell did they except that jeep considering you put a 2.5 inch lift and bigger tires on?
Dude you are a lucky men she’s so beautiful.
Moneyyyyy 💰
What bracket did you add to carry the 37 on the tail gate?
Mike Lock We used the Smittybilt bracket
Did you guys win the lottery. Man that vette is sweet.
Ray Walkerdine I wish! Haha Nah, we just don't have any self-restraint when it comes to cars. Lol
License plate?
How many damn cars do you guys have!?
Slingsomelead Way too many. Lol
You'll get sick of that vette quick. I got sick of mine pretty quick. The jeep is way more fun. The vette gets attention for all the wrong reasons and is one-dimensional. I like the JL. I might get one. I had a JK and traded it for the vette (big mistake).
Now we have to wait again for the off road body damage lol
You REEAAALLLLLLY need to get you the reinforced tailgate hinge or that wheel is going to tear out of that Aluminum door.
The core is magnesium but those exterior plates are Aluminum and have been known to crumple with a bit of stress. Pretty sure they're not rated for anything larger than 35"s.
HUGE JACKMAN We're holding off for the moment because we mayyyy be jumping up to 40s (at which point I doubt we'd be running a spare). 😅😅
LOL you guys crack me up even in the comments
Get a stinger to protect your rear before you go hard core...If that tire hangs up sadness will abound on the Lite Brite Jeep!
Awesome sauce on the Z06! Mine is white too! Enjoy!
Smokin07ram We're considering moving up to 40s, so we shall see. Haha Gonna borrow a friend's and test fit them.

What state do you guys live in? Awesome video btw!
Nob1e Hunter We live in Colorado right now!
Its funny how you say you don't have "big bank account " but can afford a $100k vette a $65k jeep and go on a year long vacation jeeping 👍🏻
You seem to have some money so why would you put that pos winch on that sweet jeep?
Brian B Because we don't have money. Lol We own too many cars to have money. 🤣🤣 Also, people talked smack about the Smitty Built winch on our FJ80, but it lifted that fat ass out a plenty of sketchy situations with zero issues. More money doesn't always mean better. Sometimes, but not always. 😁

Do you have a twin sister? You are gorgeous!!!
How much does UA-cam pays you
emm...Don't wear strange shirt PLZ ,Beause that chinese means" trust sex" on 1:40.By the way ,I like your video very much ,because I like new jeep wrangler .thanks!
It actually means dependence. I guess the "designer" was trying to say dependable...
wench.....winch
You're driveway looks like a used car lot😂😂😂
This video was sad to watch lol
