Three things I love about your videos: One, how enthusiastic you are about everything you do. Two, you truly have fun making your videos. Three, who is the ratio artist that did the smile on your face, it’s always there, rain or shine, metaphorically and literally. Come wheel the great valleys of Illinois sometime, we call them potholes.
The two of you have a great off road attitude! Watching your videos is a good way to remember my time on the same trails. I'll watch for you on the trail and say "Hi!' face to face.
Fantastic and yes it's beautiful and well as you and your never ending smile and Kevin I think you've a great smile too love the triumph and being goofy some of my favorite things to do! Hahahaha!!!😃
The jeep did what is ment to do, never give up until its challenge is concurred I love road trips by the way especially looking at beautiful scenery while on the road *Great vid.*
Love your channel and videos! Thank you for taking the time to capture the footage, edit and post such awesome videos! It's a ton of work I know... Also, Kevin is a pretty bad ass off roader! Keep em coming my friends!
Hats off to you. Grizzly Lake from the St. Elmo side can be really tough at the start. Farther up it gets better. I haven't done it in my Jeep. I just don't have the clearance. But I have hiked the 4-mile trail to the lake to fly fish. The lake is at over 11,000 feet. It is a very steep trail all the way up. I wouldn't recommend it to a flatlander. Being from Colorado I am used to the altitude. We caught some of the most beautiful Brook Trout I have seen. The lake is beautiful. I would recommend buying a SIMMS bug hoody. It is treated with a bug repellant. The mosquitos can get brutal. I use my hoody everywhere for everything outdoors: camping, hiking, fishing, etc.
as a 67 yr old dirt biker, let me add my thanks for your support of elder offroad enthusiasts is greatly appreciated. i applaud this gent's enthusiasm but This old weiny wants to see 68 too much for me to try this sort of challenge... ;)
Awesome! That place looks amazing. Also great that you looked out for those strangers. You know last week I commented saying keep 37s but looking at those Land cruisers I'm thinking 40s now! Looking forward to see what tires you chose.
That was one of the most satisfying things I have seen in a while :) I’m jealous. Now I want a rubicon, man! And so cool that Kevin’s girl actually knows her stuff.. what a fantastic mate to have when u exploring like this. And Kevin i gather now is a very cool dude himself too. Lots of love to you two and to your badass jeeeeep, man! Wow. Two sweet people and their sexy-ass jeep on some unbelievable trails. I love America for so much.. and off roading.. beautiful. Peace ✌🏽 johny
I ran Chinaman’s about 8 years ago in a Cherokee with 31 inch tires and 3 inch lift but like a lot of Colorado trails it is much more difficult now due to weather and use.
I'm curious to know how much clearance your JL has right in the center where the transfer case is at with the 2.5" lift. Sweet vid and looking forward to more!
Another great vid, love youre work guys !!!!!! Love the vids when they come in, it makes waiting for the release of the JL in Australia a little easier to deal with. I know how much you like fast cars too, well I went for a test drive a new BMW M5 F90 the other day and all I can say is wow !!!! What a car, if you guys get the chance, def have a look.
Thanks Kevin, I'll definitely wait patiently, not in a hurry to buy another 4WD, I have secretly been loving Wranglers for a few years. I had a very modified TD42 Patrol, but just sold it to step it up to a Jeep. A lot of people bag them out, but being in the bush and seeing a few of them now, they are def very capable and less mass compared to others is noticeable.
So stock , you were at 22.6 breakover with 11.85 inches from the ground to the frame in the middle of your Jeep. Assuming your stock tires were 285/70/17 which would be 32.71 ( people probably just call them 33s) . You gained 2.14 inches with tires plus 2.5 inches with the lift. You are basically 16.5 inches up from the ground to your frame and that's a 31.1° breakover for anyone who wants to try this. There are basically zero stock vehicles with that breakover angle. Stock vehicles max out at about 28° ... Needless to say , people watching won't make it without a lift and tires. That's a pretty damn good breakover angle. Just changing the tires to 40s without more lift (if they would even fit) would put you up 18 inches and you'd be at an impossible 33.8 degree breakover. 4 inch lift would put you at 19.5 inches up from ground to frame and your breakover would be an astounding 36.5 degrees. Approach and departure lol .. I'm just going to guess that it's beyond 50 degrees at that point. Its insane.....
Good attempt on the whale tail. You could have made it, you just missed the line a bit. You have to stay driver way longer than what feels comfortable. You did it in the Cruiser before right? And whoa whoa Kevin... You might have conquered the gatekeeper going up... but looks like you still have to work on going down ;-)
23:00 ......as beautiful as you are !!!! i "cringed" for the jeep tho....i seriously think....you guys need the bigger set of wheels for that trail....
These two, I love em, but their nuts! Hey Jeep wanna sell more Jeeps these two are your people! I am amazed what these two can do with a Jeep!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Chinaman Gulch and the Grizzly Lake gatekeeper are a couple of my favorites! Check out our videos doing some of the same trails you guys do, but we do them in our Willys flatfender jeeps.
Damn your mats totally saved that floor what the hell do you walk through man haha. Have you had anymore recall issues with the new second jeep ? Or any problems you have noticed so far ? As far as drivability.
irob rf We've discovered that a lot of the trails are almost sandy in areas, the dirt is so fine. The mats have been a lifesaver. Lol But the new Jeep hasn't had any issues so far!
Do any of your fellow jeepers drive manual trannys. I find it so difficult in the rocks with a standard. Starting to wish I had bought an auto. Love shifting gears, but for rock crawling, not so much.
Little more tire will help but some of those obstacles the suspension is at full droop and the tire is well above the ground. Even going to 40's it would be on the belly pan. Taking a different line would help , get some stickies like Red labels, makes dumb lines possible lol. I run sticky Trepadors and can take lines that are just flat dumb and they stick. Problem is you guys drive alot on the street. Maybe get some spare wheels and put the stickies on it.
The only way that the gram would not beset in that way is that it would turn into a unibody design and then it would not be body on Frame and would not be a Jeep any more and that’s gross sounding isn’t it
Ms89giogio He was making a joke. This Jeep in particular hasn't had any problems whatsoever with the steering so far. Apparently some of the very first released models did, but it seems that they've fixed the problem so far.
Kevin Williams Oh yeah those are spacers I will recommend 4" trail master if you wanna clear a bigger tires easy to install and you can do it at your house, And you will have to do some one upgrade differentials and drive shaft too have fun and kip wheeling nice video.
Elevated We'll definitely have to wait and see! Unfortunately it seems newer vehicles in general simply dont last as long as the older ones. Too much electronics now.
Since you sold Big Bertha, I'm going to be honest. It's not just the camera Kevin; just be content with a fat face. Not that there's anything wrong with that! :)
Kevin Williams my girlfriend and I are planning a trip out your way in the next year hopefully! All the wheeling we have here in Missouri is muddy and boring by comparison. We might just try and take you up on that!

Not only good partners and awesome vloggers plus drivers, they are also good samaritans, nice to hear your concern to other people, keep it up!
I appreciate you guys going out there and really putting the JLU to the test.
Definitely like watching you guys conquer the trails. The dynamic duo
This Chanel is the best on UA-cam for JL content just such a good watch :)
Fantastic and yes it's beautiful and well as you and your never ending smile and Kevin I think you've a great smile too love the triumph and being goofy some of my favorite things to do! Hahahaha!!!😃

One of the main reasons I go 4-wheeling the beautiful views and the sunsets!😁
Love your channel and videos! Thank you for taking the time to capture the footage, edit and post such awesome videos! It's a ton of work I know... Also, Kevin is a pretty bad ass off roader! Keep em coming my friends!
Kirk Wohler Thanks for watching! We appreciate the support and kind words!

"Nah, he died." - favorite quote from this video
22:50 what a view!
Awesome rock crawling guys. Always fun to watch and I know it's fun to do. 😎👍🏕🏞🚙
You guys got balls running a new jl like its a rental LOVE IT. She makes a better spotter than most guys!
Good driving to all of you guys!!!!!! 👍
I'd love to bring my JKU out with you guys! I'm in Leadville

How happy Kev was when he conquered that obstacle... 🙌🤙👍🤜🤛🔥
I'm enjoying your videos a lot! I'm looking forward to more uploads and adventures!😊👍🏻
Awesome! That place looks amazing. Also great that you looked out for those strangers. You know last week I commented saying keep 37s but looking at those Land cruisers I'm thinking 40s now! Looking forward to see what tires you chose.
That tape idea was really smart...
you guys are the best! ive spent the whole day watching all your videos lol keep it up!!!! keep killing it!
Haha yet another amazing video !!! Also y’all are both good looking people & an amazing couple ....
Kevin Ellis Thank you! 😊
That was one of the most satisfying things I have seen in a while :) I’m jealous. Now I want a rubicon, man!

Nice Jeep and video , more lift and ready .
Awesome video guys!
Could have sworn I saw you guys driving down Fountain today! Great videos, see you out there!
Emilio Nides You may have! We were running errands this morning & we live in that area!
Lite Brite, heading to chinawall this weekend. #newbie, #nolockers
I ran Chinaman’s about 8 years ago in a Cherokee with 31 inch tires and 3 inch lift but like a lot of Colorado trails it is much more difficult now due to weather and use.

Yeah I've always noticed that too the frame kind of hangs down on the Wrangler.
Way to make make it up the gatekeeper. Never underestimate a jeep
What do you guys keep on hand for trail spares? 40s with stock axles might not be the best thing. I enjoy your videos.
Why do you still have a temp tag? Seems like the JLU always has the fan running- good videos !
I always wondered what you guys did with the Land Crusher!
This channel is great.
yoooo first time watchin your vids.... you guys ROCK
Kevin/Brittany, do you guys have any additional skid plates you've added underneath? Or are ya just grinding the stock ones? :)
Amazing video y’all.
love these videos
Awesome wheeling. The bigger tires really make a difference don't they. Are you going to 40s next time?
Congrats on grizzly lake! Are you guys running a full size spare? If so, did you have to modify at all?
Newb question. For airing down purposes , is it better to run D or E rated tires on these Wranglers? Love the Jeep and your channel!
Was that a crack in the driver's side frame rail at 11:12?
So much pain in one video EPIC!!!
great video......
Simons World Believe it or not, Kevin has actually owned more BMWs than any other car. Haha
Hahaha awesome, the F90 M5 has well and truly stepped it up this time.
Awesome video
How long were you running a larger tire on your tailgate? Did you upgrade it? Any damage?
What pathetic life would want to give this awesome video a thumbs down? Geezzes!!!

I noticed you guys have stock rims with 37s. What tire and exact measurements are those tires?
9 psi without bead-locks? Shoot I didn’t know that!? Nice video,
What size of spacers did you use with the stock rims and 37” Tires? Best regards from The Netherlands🇳🇱👍❤️
Way cool. Only one question. Why is your motor at such a high RPM so much of the time?
Crazy cringe moments but worth the effort to conquer that trail. You guys are awesome, I enjoyed every bit of it! New subscriber cause of it.
Good attempt on the whale tail. You could have made it, you just missed the line a bit. You have to stay driver way longer than what feels comfortable. You did it in the Cruiser before right? 23:00 ......as beautiful as you are !!!! i "cringed" for the jeep tho....i seriously think....you guys need the bigger set of wheels for that trail....
What size tire u going?👀
I’ve just paid off my jk and watching your videos makes it harder and harder to convince myself I don’t need the new JL 😜
Deznuts Mcgee I mean....it's pretty awesomeeeeee. Haha
Instead of another payment use that money to further modify your JK
just wondering, are you just using your iPhone to video with?
great video.
These two, I love em, but their nuts! Hey Jeep wanna sell more Jeeps these two are your people! I am amazed what these two can do with a Jeep!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rubicons are awesome.
What Camera is that
What do u guys have on the inside of the hard top??? it's all blacked out 👍
It's a SpiderWebShade. Comes in SUPER handy when you roll with the tops off - keeps you from baking in the sun!
3.5" and 40s and you good to go.
What psi were y'all running on this
So did the Jeep do anything a rig couldn't do on 33's. I didn't watch after the Whale Tail
Ryan Heintzelman 3 of the obstacles on Chinaman & Grizzly Lake. Never seen a Jeep on 33s do any of those.
Lite Brite I didn't see it do any lines my Tacoma on 33s hasn't done. I'm not familiar with Grizzly yet so can't compare.
Michelle Martin don't try too hard hun.
God bless you both and your care for others. Philippians 2:4🤝🙏🏻

Kevin Williams Thanks Kevin. I don't feel so inept now. Love you two and videos. Get to live vicariously thru them.
Are you guys leasing that Jeep ? :D
for the missing dude, I carry a drone for realz
Keep the 37’s and add little more lift. Good use of rock stacking for that last obstacle.

stumbled on this channel... that was some dope wheelin'! you gotta sister?! I need a jeep girl in my life!!
Hi. How many problems did you have with this car? Thank you
Kevin Williams what you mean with "99" i readed about problems with electric system and steer
Ms89giogio He was making a joke. This Jeep in particular hasn't had any problems whatsoever with the steering so far. Apparently some of the very first released models did, but it seems that they've fixed the problem so far.
Lite Brite thank you so much. Im thinking to buy it in the future
I imagine Iron Man Stewart had parents like y’all!
what lift are you using?
impressive!
thanks
You should get some protection for the diff
Atlee Wise Definitely stay tuned for that!!
Lite Brite - what head liner do you have in your JL?
1234nbbw On this video we were running a SpiderwebShade
What lift you guys have if any
Kevin Williams Oh yeah those are spacers I will recommend 4" trail master if you wanna clear a bigger tires easy to install and you can do it at your house, And you will have to do some one upgrade differentials and drive shaft too have fun and kip wheeling nice video.
And how much lift?
That was awesome!
Wonder if the Rubicon will be on the road after 25 years like the Cruisers :p
Elevated We'll definitely have to wait and see! Unfortunately it seems newer vehicles in general simply dont last as long as the older ones. Too much electronics now.
Plenty of 25 year old Jeeps still on the road.
Given there are far more old jeeps around and on trails than old yotas...
It will
I would like to be around when he gets rid of those wheels
can you hear the fan from inside the vehicle?
John pan yup!
I think Britney is the son, her father never, had.....Lucky dad.....
Since you sold Big Bertha, I'm going to be honest. It's not just the camera Kevin; just be content with a fat face. Not that there's anything wrong with that! :)
Kevin Williams that's all that really matters!
Good god I wish I had money to spend 4k on changing tires 3 times in a few months
Kevin Williams well hell that's just smart trading
That fan is really annoying.
👍 ☕ 🍞 🙋♂️
Sorry, what?..your wife’s hot.
Sometimes I just want your lives...
Kevin Williams my girlfriend and I are planning a trip out your way in the next year hopefully! All the wheeling we have here in Missouri is muddy and boring by comparison. We might just try and take you up on that!
Tattoo not ratio.
