If I could upload a video, I would show you a really cool, fast way to tie that first hook... takes about 10-15 seconds!

I recieved a bundle of those vexed inchiku and slow jigs, but haven't tested them yet. How have they performed for you? I would think red grouper love those octopus skirts.

Nice Rod room. where did you get the hardware for hanging the rods and what holds the upper portion to the wall?

What is the actual name and color of the jig you said is great for seabass? Also what depth and type of structure(ledge, rock, mud) do you typically catch seabass in? Really enjoy your videos. Scamp is my favorite target.

Great video. What jig weight and jigs would you recommend for 85’-100’ depth?

      80 - 100 g

It depends on the wind and current related to your boat. Japanese creators of slow pitch use gram per METER. Americans use 1 gram per FOOT. That's 3x as much weight. Start light and see if the current is running away with your jig. Try casting up current and see how that helps. If it's too much current use heavier jigs. A lot of times you can get away with 30g and 40g jigs in 100 feet or more. You will get a lot more bites on the lighter jigs.

11:36, I see it's a 180g...would like to find these, can you share the brand or where to buy? I'm heading out of Corpus Christi mid-May on a 12 hour trip for b-liner, ARS (not in season), scamp grouper and AJ. Can you recommend a good AJ jig?

if you call Johhny Jigs out of pompano beach - they can tell what to buy - they are very knowledgeable and will answer a phone “which is rare these days”

What is the name of that rod rack against the wall that most of your rods are in? Looks like a great set up. Thanks!

it works well for inshore rods only - but i’m not sure of manufacturer - it’s 10 years old but i think i bought it from Bass Pro

Solid ring is meant to have the mainline attached. How could you ever trust a split ring 🤦‍♂️

it’s ok thought most comments of this nature are from people that speak before they think.
