He actually brought balance to the force a while ago by killing the jedi. Before he killed most of the Jedi, there were 10000 jedis and 2 siths,after he killed them, there were about 20-30 jedis left alive at best, vs 2 siths. Seems pretty balanced to me...
have you seen the clone wars arch with the father son and daughter. its canon and balance there meant keeping both alive and having them .... well balanced not one triumphing over the other.
In the Clone Wars show Father actually said that both sides had to die if there was to be peace, but he couldn't bring himself to kill his children so he maintained this "placeholder" kinda balance. So yeah, Anakin brought balance to the force after he killed not only the jedi, but also the sith, including himself.
The last 47 seconds of The Grand Finale by John Williams is so beautiful that it actually brings a tear to my eye even when I play it in my mind, not because it's sad or anything, but because it is that damn beautiful and yet powerful.
In my opinion the celebration music has more power, especially the ending where the ghosts appear. Just the way it sounds with the meaning behind it is so good

I find it so cool to imagine the galaxy at this state politicly; The old government, the Empire, reeling, the remnants of the fleet fleeing all over the shop, the New Republic forming, overall chaos as the hand that help a million strings together (the Emporer) suddenly lets go, causing massive a massive power vacuum, which the New Republic rapidly fills. This song would have been one hell of a montage for that.

i grew up with the OT and this the revise version of the Ewok Victory Track brought me back to The Star Wars Trilogy for The Special Edition one more time and the new revise music really make me cry for returning to the galaxy far,far away... and back to GL's sand box for 3 more episodes until now, thanks to GL for The Third Trilogy and I'm ready for it and it IS what I am looking for.
Just got back from watching the 40 year anniversary release with my father (who saw all three in 77, 80, and 83). While he said it isnt the same as 40 years ago, I think much of the movie still hold up. Harrison Ford is funny as hell in it, the moments are great, the effects still good. I didnt care for the added "No" in the one scene; but it still hits hard. And the music. May the force be with you all.

One that learned from the mistakes of the past. Lando would go onto be a well respected diplomat and governor of the New Republic Chewie would free his people from slavery and nobly sacrifice himself to save his friends and family. Being remembered forever. Wedge would become a war hero instrumental in freeing Corrusant from the Empire and saving countless lives through his decades of service Ackbar bought for Mon Cala their freedom and ensured his people’s prosperity Mon Mothma restored justice and peace to the galaxy as the first reigning chancellor since palatine No other ending is cannon
