I dont know how this company failed to compete with Crunchyroll acquired Funimation in 2022 by its parent company Sony and 4kids were dubbing Pokemon and was on Kids'WB and when 4kids took over the block and it exited its contract with Fox in 2008 and i dont understand how 4kids entertainment went defunct and it will live on in our hearts and souls of weebs everywhere.
all man 4kids truly brings back so many memories for me. when in 1th grade through 5th grade watching the various shows and animes that was on the block for the time. such as chaotic, yu gi oh dual monsters, dinosaur king, sonic x, magi nation and my personal favorite tmnt 2003 and along with so many other's as a kids who grew up with 4kids from back in the day i got to say 4kids truly made a lot of piss poor decisions from throughout its time. such as making shady decisions and not thinking thing's through from within the various moments time and time again. and the beagle elephants in the room the censorship and editing of multiple shows to truly make it kid friendly along with so many other things to truly mention. but all in all what really killed 4kids is a amalgamation of multiple things from behind the scenes and the business practices itself. but still 4kids truly has made a generation of anime fans from without a shadown doubt. and this is the final thing I will say yep this is a perfect summary of the rise and fall of 4kids in a nutshell this is a pretty good video keep up the good work.
I still love 4Kids so much and I don't care what those stupid haters says about it. 4Kids will definitely coming back from the dead this year and that's final. Please come back to us, 4Kids for the sake of all fans and mine.

13:11 Give credit where it’s due…it was mostly the anime….plus we kinda had a taste of his Manga personality in the Orichalcos Arc where he and Kaiba buy a Car where Mokuba straight up says: “What does it look like? We’re buying it!”
Yes and no, it was Al Kahn who was adamant about pursuing the franchise after the acquisition team bought the license without really researching the franchise according to the former head of 4Kids Productions. But neither Norman Grosfeld (president of 4Kids Productions) or Sheldon Hirsch (president of Summit Media) even knew about the deal when it happened. Norman also mentioned that early on there were discussions with FUNi to do a faithful dub and have them handle distribution instead (4Kids had a home video deal w/ FUNi), however, that fell through.
At least I now know why attempting to import anime to the U.S. was quite problematic for the time being because they were more accustomed to the stigma of animation as a children's medium that started sometime in the 50s when TV sets became more prominent in numerous households and the Interstate Highway System was literally paving its way into the scene, especially since kids unfortunately aren't old enough to drive yet and have to deal with both parents spending so much time in the workforce in order to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table, regardless of how often they're mercifully expected to spend more time lecturing their kids.

Nice History video from,Gabe
If I may ask, please, is the still of Naruto holding an apple and a Doraemon lunchbox at 11:08 real or was it made as a joke?
I (editor Jonny) will say that was a joke.

Good riddance to this garbage company.
