I recently got into playing commander thanks to the 2019 precons, and as someone who loves mono-red in standard and modern, this guy really caught my eye, so i've decided to build a deck around him - thanks for this video, it had a lot of great tips!
I've won with him a few times in 4 or more player commander games. Norin may not exactly be a top-tier commander, but he can get extra mean and extra asshole-y if you build him that way. My deck is built with Purphoros, Impact Tremors, and Warstorm Surge with cards like Sulfuric Vortex to essentially put the game on a countdown. Panharmonicon also helps to speed up the damage, as well as Genesis Chamber to speed it up even more and the chump blockers from the Chamber are also great to have. I run Zo-Zu in the 99 with things like Burning Earth, Citadel of Pain, Price of Glory, and War's Toll to punish people for getting involved with lands at all, then I run some fair-ish land destruction with Ruination and From the Ashes. To stop people from getting too far ahead, I run things like Grip of Chaos, Planar Chaos, Possibility Storm, Confusion in the Ranks, and Crawlspace to really slow the game down. I dunno, but there's a certain satisfaction with being the least threatening person on the board, to being some sort of untouchable boss enemy that everyone needs to get rid off before their lifetotal reaches zero in a mad dash to try and play an answer AND try to hit the right target.
Maybe Cloudstone Curio is more powerful, but Norin seems like a worthwhile inclusion in an Animar deck. Reducing the cost of creature spells while avoiding removal is huge.
Got a Purphoros deck with this guy in it. I haven't played the deck too much but one time I got Norin out and I just couldn't stop laughing it was so absurd.
Great content on this channel! One of my favs. Doing MD proud! I'm missing a couple of these cards in my Norin deck. You sold me! I'll be making some changes. Thanks!
I have a Norin Chaos Deck it's so much fun. Confusion on the Ranks is a Key Card. Blood Moon is also good. A Ur-Dragon or Sliver Deck hates Blood Moon. Furnace of Rath+ Purpors or an other ETB that makes Damage when Norin comes into Play is so much powerful. Everyone who see the card are wondering whats the deck will do, when they know whats happening it's mostly too late for them. :D
If Norin the Wary is your commander how can you mix the white humans? I thought that in Commander you had to only use the colors of your commander. Love the videos. Just subscribed.
You literally said nothing , my edh knowledge remained the same , what combos ? Which are the top cards to pair him up with ? Not even an example deck ? Dude

Nice to see a fellow Norin/White Glint fan.

I did not think this little guy was so amazing until now!? Amazing like always void thank you!
I've binged at least 20 of your vids this week; you are awesome! Love the content :) might have to patron haha
I have a bad feeling about this
are you warry?
Fuck yeah one of my favorite commanders of all time. You play a chaos deck that has strong win cons. It's the way of both worlds.
I've had this guy forever in a binder along with a ton of the other cards needed to jumpstart a edh deck. Time to sleeve up.
Love this little fucker, so fun to play with, so chaotic

Been brewing in a Norin commander deck you have given me a lot of fuel for the fire thanks so much

I love Norin. I have had him built twice. He is soooooo much fun. Chaos is so good.

That guy looks like a lot of fun. Guess I will give him a chance
awesome! I'm making a deck with him right now!
Good ideas, love it.
Gratz on 6k subs man! Been following since the first few hundred subs and will continue to watch all your edh goodness.
Ugh Norin is such a pain to play against.
wait...that looks insanely fun
Will not hold up in a turn four commander meta I play in. Would love to play fun decks like this but my local meta is very ego driven.
The Shaku taps for 1, not 2

He was talking about modern for a moment.
I like Jokulhaups
Why not just play shirei??? Ofc you won’t be able to use some of these cards but it seems to be a much more solid deck.
6k subs nice man! Been here since 300 subs lol
Dammit! I wanted to see the Mirror gallery. Lolol but Norin is stupidly strong haha. Man this deck list is stupid strong. Hahah
Kiki Kiki cannotcopy norin
You don't know commander very well throwing white in there.
Dum EDH why white??
Decidedly unimpressed
