Causes are:
Disc bulge or prolapsed or disc protrusion or extrusion L4-L5, L5-S1
Facet Joint arthropathy
Central canal stenosis or foraminal canal stenosis
Piriformis syndrome
Treatment :
Treatment depends on centralization or peripheralization of pain.
Centralization- The pain from leg comes to the centre, means if pain travels down the leg then it comes towards back of thigh-buttocks-back pain means centralization, it is recovery sign or prognosis
Peripheralization- It is bad sign, it means the pain is getting worse from back towards the leg.

I am suffering from Slip Disc since last 8 months…L5-S1…pain flows in right leg
Injury happened due to gymming.. I am from Mumbai and consulted 3 different ortho doctors along with Physiotherapist. Doctors suggested to go for Operation.

I was suffering from sciatica in my right leg as I started doing these exercises for 4 months 80 percentage of my pain got relief now I stopped doing exercises.i repeat only when I feel pain some times.sir please tell me weather I should do exercise to my left leg also because I have problem only in my right leg

I have l4 l5 and l5 S1 I have been regularly going for physiotherapy for last one and half month and taking medication. initially it was only numbness but for the last three weeks number reduced and tingling started in left foot which some time gets severe. I can walk on flat surface up to while walking 400 steps after it numbness starts of full left side foot. initially pain of left side hip bone which is not bit little sensitive on hip bone area. i am going to office regularly. what is my next course of action. how long I will take to recover fully and what I need to do more. thank you

Sir My sciatic nerve damage Due to Sports injury. And it cause foot drop. And I realized after 1 year that I actually got Foot Drop. I got lots of pain in my whole Leg . Due to stretching and some Exercise I overcome my Problem at least 60 %. Sir I'm a Hockey player. I thought that My Brain Not Connected with my Right leg. I got lots of problem at playing Hockey. Sir I have disc problem for 33 years. I had acute sciatica pain 3 or 4 times. Then I take antinflamatery tablets. Now whenever it starts I take medicines before it get worst. Sir please tell me exercises to prevent this pain in advance.
