Kelli Marissa has a great video about this. She uses the Sally’s store thinner and says that works too pout one bottle into the other if you don’t have thinner around.
No. You should not put polish remover in your nail polish. Get a polish thinner. OPI makes a great one that I get from Sally's. Or you can use this Seche Restore for your polish too.

I think I read somewhere that when your nail polish starts getting too thick to put a few drops of nail polish remover in it, is that true?

I've tried that and had awful results. You really do just wanna get the Seche Vite.
