    This is the exact reason I exclusively use Dazzle Dry now for my at home manicures. It’s amazing to me that most salons don’t use Dazzle Dry.

    I tried a lot op top coats, and Seche was one of the bests, it always made my manicure dry within minutes to knock-hard. To be honest I think you applied it too thick in this video. I never dipped twice to cover a full nail. Maybe it doesn't dry in 1 minute, usually I wait about 5 minutes after polishing and I am good to go. Nowadays I use the Essie Gel Cotoure top coat, I really-really like it, but I hate when the bottle is not see-through. :D
    Dazzle Dry system looks interesting, I have no idea if it is sold anywhere in Europe, I only saw it in your videos. It doesn't have that really glossy and plump gel like finish I like, but it really dries fast.

    I like to use the Seche Vite Gel Effect Top Coat, never used the OG version. I do like to let me polish dry for about 3-5 mins between coats because it does shrink. And in my experience, when I do that, the top coat should be good in about 15 mins. It may sound tedious but I watch a movie or UA-cam videos so it goes by fast.

      Same. I let the second coat dry for 20 mins before applying top coat and that helps with shrinkage. I also heard putting on a regular clear top coat may also help. I tried it but did not have time to let the clear top dry and it caused a lot of shrinkage. Next time I will experiment and let it dry first.

    I haven't had that problem when I've used Seche Vite, but I have had issues with OPI not drying. I use a variety of topcoats (Londontown, Zoya, Sally Hansen Insta-Dri, Orly) and just plan to do my manicure when I have plenty of time for my polish to dry. I choose topcoats that are really glossy, not necessarily fast drying.

    I've been a Seche Vite die hard since I got into at home manicures. I just found out about Dazzle Dry from your channel, and I'm hoping to get a mini kit! I almost always have problems with shrinking when I use Seche Vite and for a while I had problems with entire nails peeling. But it dries so fast I can't get away from it

      Seal the edge and you'll be fine. It won't shrink if it's attached to the edge. Also make sure you apply the seche vite to slightly wet polish to bond properly. Also, if it's drying too quick it may have been exposed to too much air. Get seche restore, it's thinner that you add to the top coats to get it back to new

    I always seem to go back to Seche Vite, although the UK brand Barry M make a pretty good fast dry top coat. Not very expensive too. I'm not sure if the brand is available in Europe, but they have a really good range of polishes and is widely available in the UK.

    I use seche vite and don’t have any issues at all. (I do my nails 2-3 times a week for fun and relaxation ). I am intrigued by dazzle dry, so I’ve bought the system with Aegean Cruise (using your link). My issue is ability to use on any polish - I have many polishes (200+) and love all the choices. Perhaps dazzle dry will be part of my rotation.

    I use SV and I apply a thick top coat about a minute or so after I paint my nails. I do notice shrinking but it doesn't bother me all that much. I've also use DD. While it's nice that it dries quickly, I don't like the finish. It's not glossy enough, nor does it have a gel like finish.

    The dazzle dry DOES dry nicely but I feel that OPI levels better and has more of a deep shine. I haven't tried dazzle dry for myself but historically OPI has always had a long drying time in my personal experience. Great videos! I love all your nail comparisons and experiments.

    I experienced a lot of shrinking too with Seche Vite. I also had it on top of Essie Mind-full Meditation, and Seche Vite changed the color! I then tried it on top of an OPI pink color and that one also got darker and more yellow. Threw my bottle in the trash after that.

    I haven't the opportunity to try DD because I live in Europe but Seche site never disappoints me. I always wait for the nail polish to dry before I apply it though. I know I am not supposed to but honestly it works so well that way (I can get dressed or wash dishes 15' after I've applied it). I find that peeling happens only when the nail polish underneath is old. As for the shrinking, It doesn't happen when you start using a brand new seche vite bottle, it happens when it gets older, about halfway through the bottle

Opi nature does dry faster but again not enough shine me. I hear Zoya has a fast dry but sorta pricey. Can you due a review of more fast dry top coats? I love see video on diff forms shrinkage? • @jillianwickham31
      @jillianwickham31 2 роки тому +4

      Hello. I’ve noticed the air bubbles in my DD top coat, too. Revive drops could help, although I think you’ll know when you should add some because it will feel a bit too thick to work easily with. I’ve seen bubbles in mine when I carelessly insert the brush, with the bristles splayed against the neck of the bottle on its way down into the top coat. I’ve found I don’t get bubbles if I carefully insert the brush wholly into the top coat so the bristles don’t open and carry air inside. Hope that helps 🤷🏼‍♀️

    • @13eety
