@Queen
This is a deep dive & one of my favorites. Written & sung by the great Roger Taylor
Tenement Funster such an overlooked song. Queen fan for 50 years. Great song.✌🌻🌻
"Flick of the Wrist" - This song did not abate Freddie's anger at their first manager, NormanSheffield, so he wrote another song called "Death On Two Legs". Freddie didn't hold back and in fact, after he wrote it, he thought it was too mean and nasty but Brian encourage him to finish it and so Queen recorded it. They also played it live in concerts.
it was'nt just norman sheffield, it was his brother barry aswel
@@johngraham5996 His brother, Barry jointly owned Trident Studios and worked with Queen but it was Norman alone who managed the group and who they grew to hate.
Thanks, G&T -- Roger & Brian are the "rockers" -- this one is all Rog.... he has such a unique voice... of course, Freddie-Freddie-Freddie vocally, but Brian could also sing amazingly... the whole band were fantastic... Flick of the Wrist.. the lesson is "don't piss of Freddie"... he will write a killer song about you (also see: Death on Two Legs.. lol) They were great at those transitions... right? I look forward to more...
Flick of the Wrist " was the "B" side to "Killer Queen
I found the 45 rpm single in my older brothers room , he never listened to it , so I did , and I played Killer Queen" Flick of the Wrist " over and over again that day , probably a hundred times ! , at that moment Queen became my Religion and Brian my God.
Shout out for Puukie, she is very great and i realy like her very very much !
This Queen song is new for me, i never hear it the first time ! This was a suprise for me, thanks to Puukie again ! I love you all, what a great comunity ! Greatings and love from germany ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Thanks Eva, hope you're doing well. I picked these songs because the drummer, Roger Taylor, is on vocals in the first one and Freddie is on the second two. These are all from the album Sheer Heart Attack 🙂
@@totalb63akaPuukieAnnR thanks bro, you know i love you ! Greatings and love from germany ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
This was my introduction to Queen when I was 13. These three songs hooked me for life. I've never seen a reactor do these songs all together. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Thank you Pookie for requesting this. I haven't heard these songs in ages. Great reaction also. I listen to Queen every day really motivating.
The Best side of Music from a Queen Album. Brighton Rock, Killer Queen right before this.
I read somewhere that all three songs aren’t connected lyrically. Roger wrote TENEMENT FUNSTER .. I guess someone who has fun & lives in a tenement?? Freddie wrote FLICK OF THE WRIST …. “I wrote it as a tongue-in-cheek story about con-men and rip-off artists we’re always running into. Our manager would like to think it’s about him, but it’s not.” - Freddie. LILY OF THE VALLEY written by Freddie. Brian May stated Freddie’s stuff was so heavily cloaked, lyrically .. But you could find out, just from little insights, that a lot of the private thoughts were in there, although a lot of the more meaningful stuff was not accessible.”
It's true they aren't lyrically connected to each other but I think by having all three shows their versatility and also shows that Roger Taylor was not only a great drummer but also a talented vocalist also 🙂
@@totalb63akaPuukieAnnR I love it 😍

What an awesome combo! Thank you very much for this great reaction.
Great comments, I think there’s another early Queen you might like called Liar at the Rainbow.
Thank you for this 👑
Flick of the wrist live at the Rainbow 1974 is the best ❤️
i like how they gave it the brighton rock ending 👑✊🇬🇧
Curioso caso de eu preferir as músicas do Queen ao vivo.
As performances em live eram incomparáveis.
do the Beatles please and Paul McCartney please
Great reaction 👍 have you considered reacting to the Prophets song?
♥️🇨🇦♥️
subbed for the obscure choice,,,, keep us guessing and not the same ole s**t...there is more than 1 song to an album.
First comment, i dnt know this song.
The lyrics are off a bit.
It's "Baby You've been HAD"
