As much as Keith smokes, the text-to-speech voice is probably what he actually sounds like.

The Siva car rental company is a play on words, Avis backwards.
No, you can't go on the plane during the first visit to the airport. You can't sequence break the game that easily, but I do wonder if it does let you make phonecalls at anytime to sequence break, or if there might be oob glitches at the airport. Can you call Marie at the start of the game and quickly jump to day 2, or does it only let you call her if you got the note. Will probably need to wait for a OneShortEye video about speed running this game to find out. He hasn't covered any PQ games yet so maybe there isn't much of a speedrunning scene for PQ.
I'm told you can go visit Marie before you're supposed to, but when I tried that in my latest playthrough (the "anime version" one), Marie wasn't home. I would assume that if you tried to call anyone you're not meant to call at that point in the game, you just get a busy signal. But it's worth a try, at least!
I had a look at the easter eggs for this game, and apparently you can call Sierra's hotline from Sonny's phone. There's a 30% chance that Al Lowe will pick up the phone and plug his latest Leisure Suit Larry game.

7:00 Holy shit, that is absolutely ridiculous. You don't just have to think to ask the agents for lists, but you have to ask each *individual* agent because they don't have the same info for some reason? This game is just way way too fiddly for its own good.
Also, Marie is the most basic bee ever.
I was a bit surprised at that, too. You would think, even in the 80s when everything was done on paper, that two people working at the same car rental would have the same list. I guess not!
They're on commission and VERY competitive.
