    praise God your free from anxiety. Anxiety is a nerve issue. stress is one of the biggest nerve killers. the protective wiring erods and in time your nerve has to protection any longer which makes you very sensitive to the small stimulation to it. all the things you've named are exactly what will stop it along with much prayer. ive been free from it almost a year now. God is good :)

      Gods kid Amen, I know this is 1 years later, but as of recent I’ve been hit with anxiety of which also put me into hospital, as it was stress related, I’ve had a not so good year, however I found a video on UA-cam done by a doctor that also suffered with anxiety quite bad, but he said that it can be cured without medication, and what he says makes perfect sense, and given he’s not a Christian what he said line up with scripture, it’s about renewing your thought process, over 10 years ago I suffered with panic attacks, but thankfully managed them and got cured, again no medication or therapy, thus I’m going to do the same this time as well, thus focus on positive things and God 🙏🏻😊

    Here is how I almost eliminated my anxiety. Workout 3-4 times a week for about 45 minutes. Do cardio at least one time a week as well. Also, bring a friend/family member with you so you can have a better time working out. Replace all soft drinks with water. You don't even realize how much caffeine is in these drinks. Also, try to have a good time with your friends and family. Also, make sure you're getting the nutrients your body needs. I don't think you have to be a vegan or vegetarian, but you should eat better.

      For panic attacks and general anxiety u need to run atleast 5 times a week cardio and enough minutes of it. For me i was diagnosed with severe panic attacks and obsessive compulsive disorder and sucidal ideation. And i run 7 days a week now and it relaxes me tremendously. Trust me if u do cardio everyday and enough of it for a good duration u will feel relaxed and also ur mood u will be happier and anxiety and panic attacks go down tremendously

      Duane Potgieter I actually became an agoraphobia after having my 3rd panic attack at work, there's are days I'll have no anxiety or panic panic attacks. And once it comes back it hits me really hard for over a month now as soon as I wake up I have an panic attack, filled with nothing but fears, as soon as I feel dizzy, and lightheaded I panic. I do force myself to go for a quick walk but it's scares me when I think I'm going to faint.

      Jonny Q i know exactly what you mean, it is SO scary. But I was actually talking about the days you dont have anxiety or when it isnt so bad. Excersise really helps me. I usually do something fun that takes a lot of energy

    • @PeninsulaPaintings
      @PeninsulaPaintings 7 років тому +2

      Oh man! I feel you. Fear of fainting is very common, I have it too. Stemming from a bad experience during one of my classes about a year ago. And I too have become almost Agoraphobic because of it. However, I've found that carrying a bottle of water (or having one nearby) really helps, if you start to feel anxious and on the verge of a panic, drink some water. Sounds too simple, but it distracts you from the fear and gives you a small mundane task and slows down your rapid thoughts. Soon enough, just having the bottle with you; will calm you down. If that doesn't work; in a dizzy spell, eat a glucose jelly bean or something sugary if that's all that is available, it'll spike up your blood sugar and will take the light-headed sensation away. If none of those are possible, sit down, cross your legs and squeeze them together, this will keep your blood pressure from dropping and prevent fainting. These are just to help you stop the fear of fainting, it helps to know that fainting is quite difficult through a panic attack, when you panic, your blood pressure is too high. If you control your breathing properly at the given time, it's very unlikely that you'll black out. But you still need to potentially get to the root of the problem, which isn't easy unless you can pinpoint how and why it started.

    I agree with her. i was doing the same thing and it made a huge difference in my life. One more thing I will add is that to introduce order in your life. Write all day plans down and strike them out one by one.This will reduce the panic of tasks coming from all directions. Order, sleep, water and exercise helped me in my life.I still am trying to recover and still get moments of anxiety but its important we realize that we r in panic mode and manage anxiety accordingly.

    i'm constantly anxsious. i was always open to my family about what i loved and my passions. but one time they judged me a lot. the more mean comments, the more i felt the need to hide it. i hide my passions, my love for things from them because i'm scared. i'm scared that they will judge me for it. i constantly get anxiety because i feel like they're gonna find out. it's such a dumb thing to hide from them.
    and if ur curious, here's what.
    so my friend introduced me to kpop. my family made fun of me for liking kpop. i began to hide it because i didn't wanna be made fun of. i got into dance and the korean language. now i'm scared that they would continue. i hide everything i do on my laptop, because i'm scared of that happening. also, another time was when i watched death note and everyone made fun of me because it's about death. i started to hide watching anime too. i'm trying my best to make things right again, i'm becoming a bit more open. this not only gives me constant anxiety, but it made me more shy. i'm trying my best to be more open.

    I’ve always been eating healthy, i have never been drinking coffee or alcohol and I exercise like crazy five days a week and I still suffer from anxiety. And I mean hard core anxiety! I am diagnosed with GAD and nothing of what you said helps for long time. But I’ve always refused medication and I’m trying my best to change my thoughts and the way I think. It’s not an easy task. I’m almost 40 and things are really rooted in me..big time. But at least I’m trying, and that is the only thing I can do.

    • @AmandaRoundtheGlobe

      I think different things work for different people, and there is definitely no one-thing-cures-all. In my experience, I need to do a LOT of different things on a daily basis to live an anxiety free life, and taking extra good care of myself during stressful periods is also a big factor.

    • @GoldenDelicious78
      @GoldenDelicious78 5 років тому

      Amanda Round the Globe I agree that what helps is individual and also how easy or hard it is to change depends on how long you have been suffering from it and which kind of anxiety you’re suffering from. My therapist says that for example panic attacks or social anxiety are far more easy to cure than GAD. I’m struggling with it and the only thing I can do is trying to constantly be aware of my thoughts and question them all the time. Also like you said take care of myself regarding stress and to get enough sleep, which unfortunately I’m not so good at. And also to say no and to draw the line when needed. My autopilot is deeply rooted in me unfortunately but i have hope and trust that I eventuality will be able to change the neuropath systems in my brain. If you can be addicted to negative thoughts, why wouldn’t you be able to be addicted to positive thoughts...I think it should be possible.

    I'll help you all out, being there's so much black and white opinions, with no gray areas.
    This advice might help those with mild to moderate anxiety, but for those with severe, relentless deep-rooted issues the answer isn't so straight forward, far from it. Depending on the personality of the individual and their life experiences and genetics it's not a one size fits all approach.
    There, you can stop arguing now. You're welcome. ;-)

    I think I really varies person to person. I have always been generally happy persona d. Not dealt with much depression/anxiety. I have at times. But I think it boils down to that our culture glorifies things like work, productivity, fast food, and activity in general rather than sleep. So people’s republic overworked, too busy and don’t get anolgy sleep and don’t eat well. I’ve always been the kind of person to just do comfort things… sleep in, take long hot showers, relax and watch TV, balance eating (sometimes healthy, sometimes taste over health, and also things like going to coffee shops and being alone, going for a drive. I’m a coffee drinker, but like a cup a day. I’ve exercised at various times in my life, didn’t do much for me. But I’ve also never been over weight or terribly unfit. 2020 was one of best years of my life and it’s obvious why. I rested and relaxed and didn’t have much stress. For me I’m an introvert, so it was perfect. Others might have other things like going out that makes them happy. Actually I think it comes down to this, listen to your soul and your body and feed them both. There’s a balance though, something that maybe good for the soul (ie comfort food) maybe not be good for the body.

    Cures for Anxiety really comes down to the individual cause, severity and nature of one's condition. Unfortunately there is no real 'be all end all' cure for anxiety, if there was; it wouldn't be an issue. In your case, your body and adrenals were over-stimulated for too long and thus went into overdrive and caused your panic attacks. So your method would in turn; help someone with the same cause. However, this can't be said for everyone else. For some, anxiety can be a result of a trauma (either conscious or suppressed) or really unhelpful thought patterns. For others, it could be a chemical imbalance or deficiency, for example, Copper toxicity or B12 mal-absorption. This, everyone; is why anxiety is hard to cure and get a grasp on. But the key is exploring different options and angles. Can't find a psychological cause? Try exploring the possibility of a chemical imbalance etc.

    Honestly guys I’ve been having PTSD with bad anxiety. For years I stressed about money and financial issues. DONT STRESS OVER THINGS YOU CANT CONTROL. My advice get help honestly. I’ve lost my job over this but you know what it’s god giving me another opportunity to shine and be a better person. I have dizziness from time to time, sleepless nights, shallow breathing,panic attacks etc. ACCEPT IT. The more we run away from what we fear the worse it gets. Trust me!!! Two weeks into this it’s gotten better. F those meds you don’t need them. They will make you go insane in the long run. Get rest, ENOUGH REST. Write in a journal, take cold showers, drink tea, eat better, fix yourself DONT EXPECT PEOPLE TO HELP it’s your body. Your mind needs to heal this shit won’t happen over night excuse my language. I went to the docs(ER) like 15 times in a month all they did was laugh at me. I felt so suicidal last week. Everything you feel is in your MIND. Learn to accept it. We can all do this. Don’t want for it to get bad. I started using CBD two days ago I feel way more calm and less panicky. Magnesium glycinate helped me a lot too. A vitamin supplement. Cuddling with my significant other. Lately I admit I’ve been staying in laying in bed all day BUT everyday is a new opportunity to overcome this sh** we can all do it. I have faith. If anyone needs to talk my Instagram is @katysig_

    The anxiety described here is of the burn out variety typified by too much activity and too much caffeine. It's not the more difficult variety of anxiety such as social anxiety and or the chronic types of anxiety experienced by people coming from adverse childhood backgrounds. As a person who has experienced the latter, I can safely say that lifestyle adjustments are needed but will never solve that kind of anxiety. I personally work out in the gym 5 hrs per week, and do 60 mins of meditation every day while also eating a plant based diet mainly; and yet, still experience much anxiety. The only thing that will help anyone like myself (if your reading this) is therapy

    People say that they feel the same when eating Carnivore Diet and no vegetables. Perhaps cutting carbs is the real thing that helps. I'm in Ketosis right now and I'm feeling pretty great today. Doing other things as well, so the Jury is still out on that.

    • @AmandaRoundtheGlobe
      @AmandaRoundtheGlobe  7 років тому +6

      try buying organic only when the price is really close to the conventional price! Making grains the bulk of your meals will bring your grocery budget down, as will buying less exotic fruits and veg. Also try checking out the frozen section! You can totally eat healthy on a budget :)

I brought the Calm Magnesium drink, I hope it helps

    • @CarterHayes77

      it's an Individual thing, the severity, what triggers it/how long it's been untreated/your lifestyle habits all play a big factor and every ones different in how they live their lives. There isn't an actual cure out there, you just have to learn and research as much as possible and try the many things out there to combat it.

    Yeah, I want to say HI because you are beautiful... I have an organic garden where grass typically grows, this makes me eat a more vegan diet and the food is not covered with pesticides. A few weeks ago I had several pints of beets to add the good stuff to my diet. I grow a lot of beans and peppers because of their nutritional value. I did cut back on MEAT PRODUCTS and limit myself to one small cup of coffee (6-oz tea cup of 1/2 caffeine) and I can tell the difference. Soda pop is another evil from all the corn syrup LOL!.. I enjoyed your presentation and incite on the hidden chemicals in food... BTW: the medicine my Dr gives me is a never ending cycle for repeat business funded by insurance, it does not help with my condition.
