This stunning masterpiece, the all time maxed out submariner, if you will... classic and yet it stands out so you must wear it well, I heard a nickname recently....'the Goldeneye'...
This review is by far the most informative review I have ever seen on this watch model. This isn't exactly a cheap watch, and I appreciate the attention to details, especially the technical bits regarding the watches movement. T. Mosso is the guy that does it right. I hope to acquire this timepiece in the very near future, and all of my questions have been answered in this single review. Keep up the good work!
@@chriscichon3412 that was 7 months ago - I saw one at a Calgary AD and an Edmonton AD. I see two tones regularly, as nice as they are, they are bigger dollars and a smaller market of people who want them than steel sports. Used market prices seem to reflect that too. If you ask your AD it shouldn’t be hard to get (they might say otherwise).

I have this watch and it's only going higher in price. The only bad thing about it it scratches very easily especially on the bottom part of the wrist you cannot help the scratches that will come on the gold needs to be polished quite often but you have to wait otherwise you keep wearing it out polishing this is the only watch from Rolex I can wear and a yachtmaster because of the big millimeter size I have very big wrists All the other ones at 40 mm and less look tiny on me

I have this watch in its stainless version and was contemplating buying the 2 tone for special occasions. Not sure how I feel about it being so easily scratched though.
@@robertlulek1634 it's a beautiful watch and I will likely pull the trigger on getting one. I love the movement on my stainless version. It's the first Rolex I've purchased and compared to my Breitling.... there is a massive difference in quality and it's especially felt when winding the watch or making any adjustments to date or time.
@@beri232 you won't go wrong. It's a wonderful watch it's my go to watch. I love it you can swim with it. You can do anything with it. It's indestructible. I'll take this over RICHARD Mille lol at a fraction of the cost
I am going to buy this watch this week from my local AD as I love it, I was originally wanting a date just blue but been offered this, question, long term do you think this will hold its value or even increase
these larger watches are for more of a specific market. Big guys with big wrists. I personally own the JC deep sea and love the size and is my daily driver. However, I am also 6'6". My two tone submariner looks like a kids watch on my wrist and hardly wear it anymore. Thinking of selling it and buying one of these.
Do u recommend me to buy this watch. What’s ur recommendation investment vice and also style vice. I hope to retain it n use it on a regular basis. Pls advice. Thanks Koshy
Good explanation. I have the same Rolex in a combination of black and gold.I don't know the exact year at the moment, but I think it's 2007 or 2017.Because it doesn't have a cyclops eye above the date display uninitiated amateurs think it is a Rolex fake but I don't have all the certificates and it is original .These watches are very rare and increasingly valuable especially for collectors. The watch works as it should without a problem.
Nice watch I have it. High points are 3235 and glide lock. But if they did a bluesy of this I would not approve. It would be overkill and ruin/smear the Sub bluesy icon. Please Rolex don’t do it. Next thing you know we’ll see a serti dial Sea Dweller.
Is the dial gloss or is it matte finished like the Sea Dweller 43?

Regarding the red stripe caseback sticker Tim, can you comment on why the watch needed to go in for a fix? 3235 issues?

Maybe a Versus? 126603 vs the 16613LN.
My local AD has one, it’s a gorgeous watch (outside my budget sadly).
Yeah they have this one now. It’s not for everyone and they satisfied the people that wanted one.
where at?

This and 126715CHNR are best looking Rolex, but for SD43 your wrist must be at least 17cm.
Hi, really enjoyed video. Detail was incredible. Can you recommend a place I can buy under retail?

all 2 tone watches are soft in resale, but you will always get your purchase price back

SS pieces keep their value better than 2 tone
