It's beautiful when I view my video in iMovie or my library but when I upload it to UA-cam the quality drops and my videos looks fuzzy it's become frustrating do you have any suggestions on that?

You have the best tech talk videos, and they are so helpful and clear to understand. For some reason my iMovie app doesn't have the voice over option anymore 🙁 is it just me? Any other free editing apps I can use that have voice over, iMovie won't let me upload large videos as well, 🙁 iMovie is pretty much failing me these day 😔.
I love Gravie, indeed. If you like Splice, you should try Reeldirector 2. That app is a hidden gem! It works like Splice, but it has a couple of awesome neat features no other app has. You can zoom in on existing video, for example and the videofilters are very tweakable and nice.

A phone holder for the car or just a general phone holder might be ideal. You can get flexible phone holders for $10 online. Probably at stores like Best Buy too. I'd rather use a flexible phone holder than buy a $70-$100+ tripod though. There's aaaalso a $10 phone tripod from Walmart, but idk how good it is.
I legit didn't know why UA-camrs always said, "Oh you can just use your phone if you don't have fancy equipment" and then just move on with their own video and whatever they were doing. That made me so mad because I never understood how. But now I know! Thanks to this video, thanks so much! could you make a video on how to add an outro much like you have or the Dolan Twin's have or basicly any youtube that has been on UA-cam for a long time?
If you want to make and outro you have to select some image in google then save it after that you download phonto then you can start editing after that go and download a cut cat pro then you can edit it like what you want... kinemaster is also really good!! it has a watermark but... if you use their music from MUSERK!!!..... and upload straight to UA-cam then the watermark gets erased!!! I use it for my channel!!!

+Alicia Williams if you're having trouble getting yourself in full frame even at 18mm, you may have to find a place with more space and move the camera farther away from yourself. I really like large blank walls outside, as long as the lighting is cool.
OMG thank You so much for this video. I have a few videos up now from my own desktop, but now I want to take it a step further. I have a Nikon L840, but the sound is horrible. I looked to see if I could plug a mic to it, and I can't. So, I thought about buying a bigger gig iPhone which will be the seven and film on that because it will be easier and I don't have to purchase dropbox, and Your video just made me feel better and confident.

alicia lennette all I do is keep making my vlog or video as I film it, if I run out of space I plug it in to my MacBook Air. And edit those vids than keep filming
I use my phone to record my videos and what I did was use a car mount and stuck it onto my Vanity Mirror and then placed books up under it to give it height.

The biggest bonus that’s been increasingly pestering for me lately is the sound quality and /or intolerable tone of many UA-camr videos.. 😱 I go from a beautifully, soothing video like yours and I’m able to retain the information you’ve shared with ease to the next video that follows on the topic and I jump out of my skin with “YIPPYRIPPY” the teenybopper and she’s SO SUPER EXCITED TO SHOW YOU HER DYI SMARTPHONE HACKS THAT ARE EXACTLY LIKE THE OTHER VIDEO BUT SHE STOLE IT FROM SOMEONE ELSE! I want to start a UA-cam channel but I don't have any of these equipments. Also I am very, very poor rn so can't buy the stuff (although its probably very cheap) Ps. My phone is android (not the fancy ones)
answeringfirewithfire doordie you can still do a lot. Any camera is better than no camera! And you can lean it on books, cups etc to record from different angles and if you keep practicing with time you will realise what you really need and who knows maybe your circumstances change and you will be able to get better stuff

An app called "videoshop" lets you add text do voice overs and even change the clip speed,, just naming a few things it can do and its totally free

alicia lennette all I do is keep making my vlog or video as I film it, if I run out of space I plug it in to my MacBook Air. And edit those vids than keep filming

I use my phone to record my videos and what I did was use a car mount and stuck it onto my Vanity Mirror and then placed books up under it to give it height.

I loved this video, Maya! Very informative. What do you suggest for smartphone storage while filming? I have a 16 GB iPhone that is mostly full of my personal stuff that I don't want to delete. Is there any software, or external device you recommend that could store the footage as its being recorded as opposed to being on my phone's memory?

What I do for my iPhone is I extract all my photos and videos to an album on my laptop

answeringfirewithfire doordie you can still do a lot. Any camera is better than no camera! And you can lean it on books, cups etc to record from different angles and if you keep practicing with time you will realise what you really need and who knows maybe your circumstances change and you will be able to get better stuff

Once you start you will be surprised how many random things you can actually use to hold a phone to record a video!
I record using my Samsung android phone , it's possible.
Any screen recorder on edit app is good when you get used to it I use kine master and VLLO I also have a androis
