Wow 😮. Now I know why Grischuk has won the blitz world championships THREE times!!!!
And what's more interesting is that Grischuk did it less than a minute to produce this beautiful game! Plus he had flu and temperature that time.
One time I sacrificed my queen for a pawn and resigned immediately.
hellaclownin LMAO
ROFL
Ahahah wtf
That is called a "blunder"
hellaclownin put those dollars in the blunder jar u just made a huge blunder
Tal would have approved. Brilliant!!!
Oh My Godfathers, that's one of the most incredible checkmates I've ever seen! AND it was in a blitz game! I knew Grischuk was a speed chess expert, but... wow...
Nice. Grischuk is a genius
If you win, you're a genius, if you don't, you're not...Anyone can win on a good day.
@@reducecotwo That logic doesn't really work. There are only some few thousand grandmasters in the world and of those far fewer compete consistently at the highest level.
Few thousand? More like 1300.
1960 to 1850 to 2017 without missing a breath. I'm starting to think agadmator is a timelord.
Agadmator's The Man, that's for sure.
@@Shockprowl for sure
I saw it live too, and this game was, as you said, just outstanding. Incredible attack by Grischuk
This is probably my favorite game of chess from the last twenty years or so. Grischuk is also one of my favorite chess players, this game probably sparking a lot of that.
Grischuk is my favorite active chess player.. such fun to watch 😁😁😁
This is the power of preparation. I heard Grischuk admitting he knew this at least up to Bxe7 so he might as well analyse ideas connected to the final checkmating attack. Such a deep prep is invaluable in blitz games, it allows to build a known position without wasting time on the clock. The time is then used to calculate concrete variations precisely while the opponent has already burned the clock and cannot answer with the best moves
Agad, you're doing a hell of a job man. I learned how to sacrifice my pawn for a knight and my bishop for a queen, from your videos!
Its not a sacrifice if the trade of pieces is in your favour such as "pawn for a knight" or "bishop for a queen"
@@NowhereMan7 It is a sacrifice, nonetheless. A queen sacrifice that wins the game is still a queen sacrifice, a piece sacrifice that wins a queen is still a piece sacrifice, and so on.
Naqash Azam bro please tell ur chess.com id bro
Wonderful attack. Grischuk seems to play pretty much every game in the last 5 minutes before his flag falls, even when he's given a couple of hours to start with. Adrenaline seems to fuel his imagination.
He's a time trouble junkie, like Ivanchuk :P
My god this is the most epic game I have ever seen! THANK YOU AGADMATOR!!!
I love your channel and all your vids. Its a real shame that chess channels don't get that much attention as yours deserves to be shared to those who love chess. Keep it up the great work!
17. Nf6, Rd7 18. Nxd7, Be7 leads to a fair game with 19. Rxc8, Qd4+ 20. Kh1, Rxc8 21. Nf6, Bxf6 22. exf6+, Qxf6...
I was watching this live, it was a nail-biter.
i remember rubinsteins immortal game my favorite game with this. thanks agad
Wow! Deserves a brilliancy award.
Amazing Tal game
That was a good movie😊
Thanks Agadmator.
your channel is the best bro !
Success favours the brave
THUG LIFE grischuk
:)
Mayne grischuck had an engine in his lipstick
Grischuk the silent killer
hey was wondering if you could also display the captured piece counts in future videos. i'm just a beginner and that would help me a lot, but if it isnt going to add value to your videos i'll understand. Thanks :)
I love you channel and your videos I spend hours a day watching them, I have a request could you make some videos on people who cheated or got caught trying to cheat during tournaments. I would really like to learn about that history thank you.
"Hello everyone"
Hello Agadmator !!
Great Video! 👍
Thanks
Very nice quote
Fantastic, and brutal attack! VERY NICE!
Fabulous Game!! Great commentary!
Grischuk is a beast
Just magnificent.
Wow that was such an amazing game!
WE WANT A SPIN!!!
Really brilliant
What a great finish.
Nice quote by wakefield
nice vision
Ja vise nikad u zivotu necu zaigrati sah.
Grischuk is amazing...........
Yeah, the spin entry is cool but I still want Agad to bring Medo up to the camera for a proper introduction...Medo is the coolest
I wonder when H.R.Wakefield said that, and if he had ever hear of quantum mechanics... if, of course, it was in it's period.
Blitz chess really boggles my mind. Nakamura just put up a 3 hour video yesterday, I watched the first two hour and a little, he went 22-0 in that time, it's just unfathomable how far ahead of a normal player the top blitz players are.
Blitz players are more intuition(natural talent) than theory or prep....that would be Grischuk and Nakamura
Wow h4 is such a nice subtle move.. No minor or major piece threats or forks etc, just a pawn move to threaten an unstoppable mate in one threat. Deadly. Course, I doubt grischuk saw all this when he played e5 and sacked the rook, it was just mvl who got outplayed after that since it was blitz after all, ni way is the rook sac sound, but it doesn't need to be in blitz. Bravo grischuk! First time I seen the queen mate threat into check and then recapture into connected pawn mate..
I've Seen
As usual amazinv video
Agadmator sounds the coolest saying "checkmate", like there's no other actor celebrity or any human being alive that can say that word and have that robotesque feel with Agadmator's -checkmate- hahaha. and speaking of robot, grischuk just straight hammered this because not even grandmasters could see his intent, like wtf he's like a robot, and in so little time.
edit: sorry for the awkward "hahaha"
"MVL" I am secretly laughing
Is it really that bad to just call him Maxime Lagrave?
@@nigelfarage4119 Yes, because his last name is Vachier-Lagrave
He had probably played that position before and he knew it could work on a blitz game
Beautiful. I wonder if this was prep or otb innovation.
Grischuk is mostly over the board and this is Blitz so no prep really
Wonderful
*Yes!* I found the winning move!
When Grishchuk played Rooke to d1, I guess Maxime should’ve played bishop to d7
Brilliant moves
Check up the hard work! I enjoy your videos, they improve my Vanessa :D
Who the hell keeps voting the the videos down from Agad's channel? I can only think of Suren and Mato.
Crazy good moves by griscuck (hehehe, jk). He'a a genious.
Also, I loved your analysis of why these choices were made and other possible outcomes from other choices. You got a sub.
nice game!
I found out taking with pawn is actually main line Agamator, as it is main line classical not draco thou
I come back just to see the dog 😌
I don't like blitz chess, the players can seldom make really deep moves. But this game is really beautiful!
Amazing! the way MVL has been crashed
Hello there. I have recently rediscovered chess as a hobby after 6 years of break. I am just a 1602 scrub, but with some candidate master scalps under my belt. I am looking forward to get better and I have discovered your channel, which i enjoy very much. Because, well, how not to enjoy loads of Tal and Ivanchuk.
May I suggest a game?
www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1886465
This is a very recent game between Emil Sutovsky and Fabiano Cuarana, so it's top level. not much ina way of comments on chessgames.com people have probably dismissed it as yet another draw. BUT HOLY COW THIS DRAW IS ABSOLUTELY BONKERS. Pawn sac for opening position, Tal-esque sac, tonnes of tactics. I have NEVER seen so much fire in my beloved Caro-Kann, ever. I am trying to wrap my head around it but, being a scrub, i fail miserably.
Help me Agad-Wan, you are my only hope.
Interesting note, even if the black g and h pawns aren’t there, it’s still mate haha
Is it just me or is the video blacked out? All other videos I can watch normally.
knew it!.........
SPIN ON THAT FUCKING CHAIR AT THE VERY BEGINNING OF EVERY VIDEOOOO
srivaths pradeep he did once and Was damn cool
Gay
what video?
NOONmusic where is this video??
Got Damn, that shit was relentless, like #Diarrhea
after RxB why did he play KxR?. When Bb7 saves the game..... I think.....
grishuk plays chess like judo...
(mvl is like you pronounce exactly,
but without pronouncing the "R")
Multiple times I'm watching your videos and the video feed goes blank. Not sure if it's the phone, UA-cam, a pop up advertisement, or the channel. Just wondering if anyone else has this issue.
Jory H Yes. Same happened to me and I couldn't recover from a solid black screen until I eventually closed and restarted the entire UA-cam app (Android). Another poster above seems to indicate having experienced a similar (if not identical) phenomenon, which I encountered after watching the first couple minutes of the video without incident. After restarting the app, though, I was able to finish watching without any issues.
Anybody have any ideas as to how this particular video seems capable of inducing a serious UA-cam playback failure that has been independently reproduced by multiple unrelated viewers?
Please note that I am not blaming the uploader or the video itself by any means (enjoyed and appreciated the high quality content!) -- I am simply curious about what is going on.
I'm on Apple, no problems yet.
3:58 knight takes h7, king takes knight, rook takes Bishop, king moves to? Queen to h3 is coming?????
He will not capture the knight on h7
gg
Another "Chucky?": Wow!
I don't think the mate pattern is that hard to think of - knight bolted down on f6, one rook already on the eighth rank, and the locked f7-g6-h5 structure all immediately suggest the possibility.
Interesting, though, that none of Grischuk's plan needed to rely on the f4-f5 push which is so typical of the Grand Prix. I tend to think of the Grand Prix as a one-trick pony in structural terms, so it's good to see that it isn't.
Dog did not like the video, left before the end...
This cant be samifinals..... quarterfinals it is.
Yes, I misspoke :) Thanks
Wow
i all most fell asleep but it was good
Glad you ended the game with h4xg5, saw an other youtuber today who ended with f4xg5, Urgh.... Also, Grischucks e5 move could have been prepared??
🔥🔥🔥
Thats why magnus says grischuk is a 'perfectionist' .
no offense Agad but Medo really is a cool pup
3 down votes ??? one for sure is Lagrave , and maybe his wife and kid
Sasha 🤙
What if MVL plays queen f5 to g4. Then there is no pawn capture to check the king.
Simply Nxg4+ Kh7 then Nf6+. MVL has no other option but to play Kh6, and Qg5# by Grischuk is unstoppable. So Qg4 by MVL is giving up a queen for nothing except to prolong the game.
Beuty full
When I was young,I would sacrifice my queen because I didn't like it
HELLO!
Ok. Ok. No more sarcasm out of me. There is clearly no benefit for me to communicate online. I'll just watch and enjoy. Cheers.
Great game! The chess.com coverage is here, and at this time mark: ua-cam.com/video/19yMmSDPOBE/v-deo.html
..or rather instead of avoiding check by moving king 2 early which breaks the principal, y not MvL go 4 f5 (does he know Leaner)
Does he know Lesner (wwe)
100th comment
What pieces are worth sacrificing and for what?
I wish I was good.
lol you should use a better photo of mvl
Did u copy suren or it was just a coincidence..??
srivaths pradeep he posted in the morning
I must be getting better. I saw the reason why he moved there right away :)
PaleGhost69 sure...
Same here.
I mean that Re1 for Rxf8, I saw it in less than 2 second
same
It's different when you know there will be some good play in next move than playing the game yourself, especially fast one.
