When Tal's pieces are hanging it's called 'offering'.
When my pieces are hanging it's called 'blundering'.
Darn magicians seeing into the future. XD
Tells you a lot about society
It is not your piece, it applies to every other chess player.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ha..ha
Correct
Tal: "Here - take a Knight!"
Keres: "Oh! Thank You!"
Tal: "Here - take another one!"
Keres: "Waaaaait.. I don't like where this is going!"
"Here takes my queen"
"Should i call gg"
it was take my piece or settle for draw considering he drew about half his games.
@K M and then Tal be like " No not that e4 pawn, I'm gonna protect that"🤣
Simple method of playing against tal is don't take free piece just don't
@@BeingHuman5291 but that free piece, if not taken, seems dangerous
It's insane how this man was able to go on for almost a 100 games without losing single one playing like that.
What is more insane is me playing 100 games without winning a single one
@@yatinkalra2543 it's not that insane... I'm doing it too
@@Jack-xo6hp Links?
Yes, this game had many bold moves. what a great mind
At 6:49 what if he takes on g3?
Keres saving his queen with his knight move was impressive.
Yeah , what a move .
Seeing this move from the thumbnail is what made me click and see if it was played
Actually, when Agadmator said to find a move, I spotted it almost right away because that's the only move that can save the queen so it's easy. However, Keres would have had to see that before deciding that capturing the knight was safe. Without Agadmator telling us there is something in the position to look for, it's a completely different story :-D

I believe Fischer, Kasparov, Capa, Alekhine, Karpov and Carlsen all have to be rated higher than Tal in the pantheon. Maybe Morphy too. However, there is nobody like Tal who can make me go "OMG" three or four times in a game. Most brilliant of all time.
Gold comment. Yes, his games are something. Almost like a thriller or horror movie. You don’t know who is going to come out of that forest
Tal is my favorite chess player to analyze.. Fischer is the greatest and most talented by far.. watching Carlsen's games are like kissing ur sister
Actually sir he was better then all of them. The olny problem was bad habits like heavy drinking and bad Health partialy caused by bad habits:-) he was a genius beyond imagination. Even Magnus, (who i despise cause of recent events, but still extraordinary player) consider Tal as the only equal or better then himself
@@paulinasieron9261 no, Fischer was the greatest of all time..Tal was the most fun to watch
I love watching his games, so crafty.
Tal was a crowd pleaser. He played with such moves that is unparalleled even into today's world. When tal offers a piece you should know he's telling you that you've already lost.
We’ll actually there was a game against keres where he sacrificed and actually lost.
U can find it in matojelic’s channel
@@blitz4486 Keres was actually one of the few players who had decisively positive record against Tal. Probably saw through his witchcraft most of the time.
Lev Polugavsky :- hold my vodka
Keres: "Tal, I can see through your futile sacrifices. I'll outplay and beat you"
Agad: "Best you can do is draw, this is during Tal's 0 loss streak."
Keres: "Not a problem, I'm still going to easily stop your attack, you have nothing."
Agad: "Feel free to pause the video..."
And it was in this move that keres resigned the game
There is obviously some deep and powerful technology at work. Maybe it's magic... maybe it's witchcraft...

Just after the game he asked " who keres?"
Lol
Hikaru literally doesn't.
@@rowdyabhi98 he literally does not care bro

Very impressive how could someone calculate from such early position all the way to a win .
What’s scary is that he did not calculate that it was a win. He calculated that white would be slightly better if black didn’t accept the draw, and then continued to play to perfection…. Geez…
Its called following instics
The difference between Tal and other players is that Tal sees while the others calculate...
@@iTrytoTrytoo Instincts!
Because when Tal calculates it's based on weird math where 2+2=5
Keres actually defended quite well all things considered

He never just won. He had to win the most dangerous way possible.

I think when Tal starts playing he begins by planting seedlings that rapidly grow into a thick forest.

Watching Misha's games not only made you take the risks on the board by shaking things up and creating imbalances, but his style just teaches you a thing or two about life in general too. Good or bad, Tal's relentless way of play and lifestyle really opens up one's eye.
Nobody have ever played more beautiful chess than Tal.
Dubov!
Beautiful in terms of chaos, not interms of perfection, that'd be Karpov or Botvinnik
morphy and tal are amazing
This is true sorcery. The more material Tal gives away, the closer he is to victory.
You presenting tal games was the thing that really brought me back to play chess again. Thank you sooo much antonio
Goddamn 3 Tal games in a row. This is a dream!!Thanks Agadmator for this

You are correct. There will never be another Tal. However, there may be another like him.
IDK why but when Agad says "your position is just disgusting" 7:08 had my dying 😂
Tal v. Keres. Two of my favorite players. Neither ever backs away from a challenge.
I love this Misha series. Really goes back to the early days of this channel. Antonio, can you do the next games with your classic, serious, deep-voiced analysis? 😇
His name is Tal! I think it is a bad custom to name chess players by their first name.

Tal is immortal forever…
His chess games are a beautiful work of art…
i barely calculate 3 moves for one piece. i realized that all scenarios agadmator shows us, tal was doing them lighting speed in his head, and probably calculating even more moves. truly art of chess.
Tal had many names, for good reasons! He was eccentrically brilliant! You could even call him the Picasso of chess! Either his game would be a masterpiece or have another GM say, what the heck was that! Either way, it will be fun and interesting!
@Jan van Erven I’m assuming metaphors and symbolisms confuses you! That’s ok. Just like a Picasso painting, and a Tal game, beauty is in the eye of the beholder! Stay classy my friend 😉
@Jan van Erven Agreed
“Feel free to pause the v

Not that, obviously.”
Always makes me laugh
Man, it seems that every game that Tal's a part of is just an amazing treat! Very entertaining stuff.
Great game! In fairness, it was like two great heavyweights slugging it out.
Tal : “Playing for a draw with white pieces is a crime against chess.”
Also Tal : Plays a line which forces a draw 😂
The line not so sure draw, it is looked very scary for black with immediate mate threat. But it's gambling if you find all best moves its draw you miss one you gone:)
Yeah, that knight on f6 is definitely a no no, you take it, you'd probably be in massive danger, even though Tal would be down 2 pieces...
it doesn't forces tho, it's just that the best moves lead to draw just like how chess is
The attack was so calm as to even protect the e4 pawn and so harsh as to give up a full rook on the Barnes' square g6
I was eating, I basically blinked and missed it, Tal was down a piece now he is up the exchnage wth lol, gotta go back!
"Listen, and understand! That Talminator is out there. It can't be bargained with, it can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until your king is dead." -T1
The classic story. Opponent refuses to be "tricked" into draw, then promptly throws away the game.
Wow !! The level of planning and no-nonsense brutal aggression is just stunning. Just a really exceptional, and really crowd pleasing, player. (And Agad is a pretty amazing guide as well !! ).
That was nuts. Tal in super human form. Love it
The way he said "homefield advantage" is absolutely gorgeous.
He was a GEM who left us his amazing games.
"And now even b4, you can't play a brilliancy without inserting b4 somewhere in the game" - Agadmator 2021

That checkmating sequence at the end with the rooks and queens is just art in motion. Absolutely delightful!!

Thank You. You really bring the games to life. Well done
Finding a move is easy like a puzzle. Building up to get to that point is another thing. How do they do that? Don’t even know what to make of it. Just enjoy and admire the human mind!!!!
thanks for always making great vids agad ive watched every one youve made for the past year and some change
I persoanlly believe that world's best and totally unexpected games were played by Paul Morphy, Tal and Rashid only. Simply beautiful.
Thanks for this video! Can't get enough Tal.
Nf6+ "you can't really take the knight" I couldn't help but laugh because what an insane move and WILD that Tal would know you couldn't take it
I've been studying the power of the heavy pieces especially Rooks and queens together so thank you for unbelievable lesson
Please keep the new Tal games coming! Also we'd love to see some of the older Tal videos you'd id a few years ago redone!
That Nd5 was was very powerful and well thought move. Only Tall could think of this long term strategy. 😅🙌
What an amazing game. Thanks Tony for sharing this with us.
Tal is usually referred to as a magician, but I like to think of him as an artist.
I like the fact that you explain why they move the certain piece. I learn the meaning behind every single move
Another example why this Riga citizen was called "magician"!
( and the magic came upon a superb chess player - Keres!)
Everyone can sac like tal, but only tal can get away with it
Hay man I alway enjoy your videos, congratulations on the effort and result !
I haven't seen this game too, very, very interesting one indeed.
One thing I noticed: Rf6, played in the final puzzle in your video .. actually I think Rh3 is even better instead, as now Q:h6 with last rank mate is really inevitable
(Kh7 - R:g7+; Ng5 - R:g5)
One of the things overlooked in Tal's career is that he qualified to play for the title after winning a candidates tournament. After that FIDE went to candidates matches and Tal never qualified again. Tal was better in tournament play than he was in match play. Few if any can match his tournament results.
It's a neat chess fact that in every position, b4 is always the strongest move.
I’ve been watching Agadmator’s chess videos for years and I love how he explains the moves. Awesome videos. Thank you❤
Watching all these games I can only say that ' *Tal is ridiculously genius* '
Love all the tal content recently

With this much aggressive play, 100 game unbeaten streak is insane.
#suggestion - the game that Tal won to get his Grandmaster title (the one you mentioned previously in a video)
"Rook here can be captured,Rook here can be captured but neither rook can't really be captured"@12.33...!! Awesome analysis...!!
Tal looked wild, played wild and smoked like a chimney. I hope he drank too much too!
Glad we're back to Tal! His games are the most entertaining
In my experience, strictly as an amateur chess player, it's one thing to outplay your opponent and be in a somewhat "won" position, and proceed from there and actually checkmate your opponent. After you get the winning position, you cant mentally let down on your level of play. Your opponent goes into a defensive strategy. You could make the claim that a winning position isnt necessarily going to be an easy win.
Wow 3 Tal episodes in a row!! Agad has blessed us
Keres must be definitely happy at that movement while Taal was offering his pieces. But later on he would've realised where is it going actually? 😅😅😅
