I don't understand why anyone would put a thumbs down. Art is a happy thing. I like the painting. Your waves make me thirsty.
Cut my teeth on Bob Ross tutorials way back in dare I say it, late 1980s. His work has had a massive influence on painting, even today, brilliant. Jason, good-on you.
Thank you so much, this helped me with painting water and waves tremendously!!
Wow... I've always struggled with water. Thanks so much for your help. You make it look so easy. Well done, awesome guy!
Love your paintings and tutorials. I did art at college but never really found my style but after watching you and bob ross I've found my style in the process of getting the materials and equipment. I only went out n bought the wrong paints :( Acrylics . i now know it's oils thank you for the inspiration!
Fan Brush Sea is a beautiful painting. I had a dislike for the fanbrush when I first used it, but now I like what it can accomplish. Thank you for teaching by example. You are extremely talented. A "fan" from the U.S.
Jason B, thank you very much for showing how to paint the ocean and the tree and the rocks) Enjoyed your video immensely! Also you have a very gentle manner of speaking, it is very calming. Thank you again, and wishing you to continue to inspire others to paint!
Thanks for the confidence you impart and the encouragement, pleased to have stumbled upon your work.
I loved this video. You showed me so much I didn't know about making the water and waves. I can't wait to try this. Thank you for your time.
I love the dark, light, dark in the water. It makes sense 😊 ty.
Jason
Love your "Fan Brush Sea"...an ideal painting to introduce students to the fan brush. Great job!
who doesn't like legendary bob ross. i knew this technique when the painter in this video showed his pallet. i always loved watching bob ross putting together a great painting.
The sea looks really good, I've always struggled to get that right, thanks for the tutorial.
made me smile when you did the sea sound effects lol great tutorial thank you
That was fantastic, and you made it look so easy! Thank you, was a pleasure to watch.
That's beautiful. Thanks for the lesson Jason.
Violet and blue grass - that's the burner!! I also like the red (pink) foliage of the tree.
Love your style with the sea!
brilliant love seeing sea and water painted in easier techniques
This is fantastic! I really loved the color choices and the detail! Well done!😊
Wow...It looks so simple and easy the way you explain. I will certainly try it.
Thanks for sharing.
That’s great to watch it how little details are done hopefully I can emulate some of it
Thank you for sharing your painting tutorials. You have really helped me be a better painter :-)
I have learnt so much from this painting, thank you.
Found you by accident and I,m so glad I did ...love the wave and the grassy cliff tops
your lessons are great, especially for those who can't afford painting classes
Another awesome demo' from Jason. With your help I have got back into oil painting. A small point the rocks going out into the sea are the same tonal value as the foreground. If they were a lighter tone they would go further back. Otherwise very good - keep them coming Jason.
Bravo!- You just keep getting better-Many Thanks
Well done. I've just started painting myself using the wet on wet tec. Good fun :)
I loved watching this video! Thank you for the great tutorial!
WOW! Thank You Jason. How helpful, thorough and thoughtful --- Gratitude and much appreciation from me to YOU! 🎨💥✨
The craziest thing -- I am painting a piece similar to this and that's why I looked up 'how to paint water'.... come to see the end of this vid and the landscape scenery oddly similar --- so I received a two for one lesson! And I am making it up as I go along with out a clue ----- helpful indeed! and big smile in my heart --- i am a bit lost but not completely lost!!
I am delighted to have stumbled to you! I can't wait to see more! paint or watch jason???!!
thanks again💃🏻🌝✨
Lorraine: Hi Jason This is the first time I've seen you. I want to say thank you so much for your great "Fan Brush Sea" tutorial. I really learned a lot. I love the calmness of your voice and how you take the time to really show what you're doing. I had no idea how to show the waves coming over (Is it called the dump?) and now I know you use the fan brush. You have my subscription. Thank you again!
Those colors though. Sooo nice!!!🎈
Geeez guys erase the " I can't " you can do everything easier without it. And I learned it @ age 4 ..Just thought you needed a spark, bet you can & will develop your own style ( technique ) by next year if not sooner.

+Stephanie Williamson why is that, hmm, let me guess, was it because " he looks too good" , yes, looks can be deceiving, but if you want to see realistic seascapes that could blow this painting out of the water, I suggest you look up Byron Pickering ....otherwise u can ask for this guy's number don't be shy !
+koko orme. Don't hate him because he's gorgeous.

Can you use masking or painters tape over a previously painted portion to help keep the lines straight? Will it hurt the paint already laid down? Thanks ;)

Awesome!😀
Exelent, you're a really boss (sorry for my poor english).
Nice job.
I think I am in love ☺️
Jason, how are you? I am a fan of good painters, so I know what I am talking about. You are good, but not what I am looking for. I don't like wet on wet,so that explains that. I try to paint water colors , acrylics, oil, and pencils. I prefer small pics as it is easier for me. Have a nice day.
