I’m the plumber Rabea owes me for his chops he would be no where without me yet he won’t even give me any money for helping him become who he is. Realistically he should be paying me thousands for what I did for him and he just ignores me. Terrible lad Rabea.
I met Bea at a guitar show a number of years ago now. I had a good chat with him mainly about Chapman guitars and he had all the time in the world for me it seemed. Such a cool, nice, genuine guy and he deserves all the success he's getting I'm really pleased for him.

My theory as to why that is is its because Bea isnt a metal guitar player, hes a guitar player that can play metal very well. Hes learned stuff from every genre and I think it really shows in his playing as he feels unlimited when hes playing and you end up hearing stuff that sounds really fresh because of it. The guys got serious chops and is up there with the absolute best in my books.
Well he does alot of melodic metal stuff. He sure can shred, but he focuses on the whole thing and not only on the shredding. He uses alot of spacing too, so it doesnt feel overwhelming. I like it alot too.

I remember a Skype call when we were doing Monkeyfest planning, and Rob introduced Bea - and I couldn't understand what he was saying, so I said "Like beer?" and Rebea said "Yeah, I like beer." And I replied "No, I mean your name like beer?" and he said "Yeah, I Like beer." Stick was in the call, thought he was going to hurt his back he was laughing so hard. Rebea is definitely a super likable guy and funny.
Rabea is amazing. In my 21 years of playing I’d definitely go as far as to say he’s one of the very best I’ve ever come across. Every week on sounds like he nails legendary guitarists, not only sounds but pretty much their playing too. I hope he realises just how much he helps people on UA-cam. I’ve learned a phenomenal amount from him and I am truly grateful.
Rebea, I love your heavy playing, but it is your beautiful ambient clean playing that leaves me speechless. That ending was absolutely astonishing . . . again. Keep writing/playing man you are outstanding, and one of my guitar heroes.
Everytime Rabea plays guitar it does something to me no other guitarist has ever done. I can not really explain what it is but he is just mesmerizing to listen to. He's seriously one of the greatest of our generation. He is truly an inspiration and I strive to one day be able to play and write like him. Being an older guitarist (66) I never really cared much for "heavy metal" or shred metal or whatever. Rebea changed that all for me. He is so creative, and play so many genres, I even love his heavy stuff. I can REALLY hear all the stuff he brings to the party, it's so cool. Keep on keeping on, bro!!!
Best Captain Meets episode yet. It’s been a joy watching Rabea grow. In my humble opinion his greatest asset is his personality. That’s why people watch. Then they get to listen.
That outro is one of the most hauntingly beautiful things I've ever heard. Rabea is absolutely one of my favorite players in the world. Such a killer ear for everything in just about any style he plays. This is coming from a small town in Texas in the States. I can't get enough of his playing.
You guys need to have a "The Captain Meets The Captain" episode. We never get to hear Lee's history and it would be a fun editing exercise at the very least.
What I like most about this channel is when Lee or Rob are watching people play guitars they look so into what they're watching and just so appreciative. They have a genuine love for music and guitars and it's infectious and inspiring to watch these videos.
It surprises me how much I enjoy watching a community prop itself up. To see the level of respect for one another is a lesson outside of musicianship that a lot of people could stand to learn from. "Rob put me up in his flat because he knew I wanted to make a go of this and he was much further ahead." Community is important. Might be a shredder, but that is truly punk rock in my books. Kudos.
The part about finding and having different skills is really interesting. I had spent the longest time thinking music was all I ever wanted to do and that I wanted to do it as a career, but then I had a change of heart about it. I love being able to create music and using it as a creative outlet but I suddenly felt like having it as a career would somehow detract from that. I ended up discovering I really liked Computer Science and all that comes with that. Eventually realising I was really interested in Data etc. as a specific thing beyond just Computer Science and I'm now halfway through my degree in it; meanwhile also playing guitar and creating music on the side - Stress Free with no pressure to do release anything before I feel it's ready. This was a great video!
His playing at the end had me in a trance. I'm at work at my computer and caught myself watching, staring, my mouth open, mesmerized at the beauty that comes out of his fingertips.
I know my kid’s going to be up in a matter of hours but I couldn’t stop watching once I started. Love Rabea. Such an honour to watch his career/presence explode these past few years. God-given talent and clearly such a decent bloke. Nothing but good things I hope come his way.

I'm totally with Rabea. It helps more to put the CDs on and play along than to play the tabs. I did it the same way, but with vinyl because I'm 10 years older than him!
For about the last year and a half Rabea has been one of my favorite guitarist when it comes to high-gain and amazing ambient tones. His style and fluidity on the fretboard are quite simply...amazing. I can’t wait to see what he does in the future. I will be watching.

Rabea is probably my favorite guitar player right now, and has been for a while. He's such a great, down to earth guy, with an insane, inspiring amount of knowledge of gear and the likes, and is just amazing all around to listen to

Wow, the first five minutes were so revealing to me. That's why Bea is so freaking tight and the groove and rhythm master he is, he was a drummer before. Amazing how he combines that with those amazing harmonies, beautiful melodies, big atmospheres and that tasty portion of shred on top. And he's just a top guy, what a lad. Right, I got an appointment with a drum teacher to make.
Some of the best players I have known in my life (48 years) learned guitar by learning songs and solos by ear. It is a skill that has untold value. Good on you ‘Fro, you da man!

UA-cam gear demos have, for me, driven a point home with force - there are very, very few people I can enjoy watching noodle around on guitar. Rabea is one of them, and Pete is another. The fact that both of them are on Andertons has made this my favorite guitar video content maker. I love the way Rabea just tossed off that it took him about a year but he learned to play all of Master of Puppets.
Kudos to Lee for showing you some love and actually featuring you on the Anderton's channel! Rabae, you are a wonderful musician and very deserving of all good things that will come your way.

Some of the best players I have known in my life (48 years) learned guitar by learning songs and solos by ear. It is a skill that has untold value. Good on you ‘Fro, you da man!

UA-cam gear demos have, for me, driven a point home with force - there are very, very few people I can enjoy watching noodle around on guitar. Rabea is one of them, and Pete is another. The fact that both of them are on Andertons has made this my favorite guitar video content maker. I love the way Rabea just tossed off that it took him about a year but he learned to play all of Master of Puppets.
