@@VilmaValiant Yes place I am currently staying not so much honestly,because I am staying in the southern part of Thailand because my fiancé lives and works here, but hopefully that will change soon as I want too move to Chiang Mai where the weather is not as hot and humid and has an English speaking population
@@zubinwarden7888 I see. I did consider Chang Mai because it’s cheaper than Bangkok but what about the burning season? I heard it’s pretty bad. 🤔
@@VilmaValiant Yes , it is from what I have heard and read about I believe it is from January to April can travel a bit too other places if things get bad, I agree it’s inconvenient and for some even costly
@@zubinwarden7888 if you can move when needed, I suppose it’s worth trying Chang Mai. I can’t easily move around because of my cats so I’ll be stuck in Bangkok for awhile. 😁

@@VilmaValiant They recycle (clean and re-use) 20-ish litre bottles. I also have had good luck with a brita filter pitcher (from Central LadPrao) refilled with tap water. Either way, there is much less wasted plastic.
Ohh, I used Brita back in Germany. I was just not sure if it was enough for the tap water here. 😬

does the BIG C plus app charge to deliver heavy bulky items, like if I were to get a case of beer and several bottles of water. I was thinking when I come to Pattaya I'll have to order a bolt ride from big c to the hotel but if there is a delivery fee and it's not too expensive I would rather do that.
For my case it’s always free delivery. But it might depend on how far you are from the nearest BigC. If there is a fee, it might be cancelled if you hit a certain amount. It shows during the checkout page so just look for the delivery fee.

I am planning to sell all i have here in states and do the same. I don't want to buy i want to rent a one bedroom condo . My retirement is about 2000 usa. I am 62 years of age. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you mean Jomtien? I haven’t been outside of Bangkok yet. 😅 I don’t want to leave the cats so I don’t usually go out of town. I usually just relocate. 😂
You can live a comfortable life with 2k USD a month, if you don’t party hard that is. I myself live for just a little over 1k here in Bangkok. :)
Regarding retirement, I suppose you can try applying for a retirement visa? Unfortunately, I do not have experience with this visa and know little about it. Try checking this website to see if you can meet the requirements:
