    In this video I go over how to actually get results with a 28 day pilates challenge. I go over the 3 big mistakes that can interfere with you getting results. We go over- what "results" can mean and why it's important to have a few desired results that aren't body focused, nutrition and daily habits that have helped me on my own fitness journey, my own journey of using food to cope, and how you can get started today with doing a free 28 Day pilates challenge. My workouts are a mix of resistance training and contemporary Pilates.

    I’m 58 YO and starting your program today. You’ve given more beginning info than anyone else. Excited to get started. I’m working on meditating every single day, so doing both will definitely help me take care of myself now. My goal is to drop 20 lbs and strengthen my core. It’s crazy how much muscle strength I’ve lost. So, here we go!!!

      Hi what a great plan. I've been searching for something challenging to do at home. Your guidance throughout the workouts are good to follow, and as a beginner the workouts aren't that hard.
      My goals ate to get fit, lose about 10 kgs and build up some strength

      I started this 2 days ago. I already meditate a few times per day. I’m incorporating 30 minute walks 3 times a week and hatha yoga every other day. I’m looking to drop 15lbs and tone up. Best of luck to everyone!

      Heyyyyy! Here I am 55 and starting this for the same reasons! I need about 50 pounds gone, I’m walking 4-5 days a week, meditating (learning slowly) and now, I am adding this to my health repertoire!

    I am 61 and started your program today. I love pilates and I love yoga and happy to have them both together! I don't have a huge budget and happy to see you offer your program free. I want to firm up my body to keep it healthy as I move forward in my career as a nurses aide.

    Thanks Rachel, day 5 of doing the 28 challenge and this video is def. helping me. My goal is to be stronger for me and the people around me, is not about having a "perfect body" anymore, cause actually, what is a perfect body anyways? Just want to feel stronger and more energetic and help my mental health as well. I really appreciate your approach! And if somebody else is reading this know that you are beautiful and capable of many things. Let's strive for feeling good not for perfection.

    Hi Rachel. I am so excited for this 28 day challenge. It is much easier to stay motivated when it’s all planned out, so thank you. I have never been able to work out alone, I always needed the motivation of someone else to do it. That is one goal I have made, working out ‘with’ you as my motivator. I really appreciate that you bring other elements like stress and how to handle that, as well as the relationship with food. That’s a struggle for me, and another goal. My third goal is to feel better overall. I completed the warm up and first challenge tonight. I can’t wait for tomorrow. Thank you for being amazing!

    Hi Rachel, i just came across your video this evening and wanted to share with you how much I appreciate everything you've said in here, and you being authentic and real. I started Pilates about 20 yrs ago, and did it consistently 7 days a week (during this time i truly enjoyed it, and it was more like a form of self love/pampering). In 2010 I became certified, started teaching, and taught for 10+ years, until having a job change. Since then, (and even during) I have had a very difficult time doing any exercise/programs for any length of time due to health issues, as well as getting bored,lack of motivation and burn out. After seeing your video, and hearing your heart (rewatching it several times and in tears by the end), I've realized my goals at the completion of a 28 program includes having a healed relationship with not only food and exercise but even more so with my self image, self esteem and body. Also a healed relationship with life- re-learning that i can enjoy exercise and it can be something that i do as a way to remind myself i am worth the time and effort it takes. Please know too as i did your first video today, i was so encouraged to have a Pilates workout that was gentle enough to help with the injuries and knowing this is something that I can succeed at, that it will not just help my body to get stronger and to regain my flexibility, but that the most important things like my self worth ultimately will be changed for the better too. Thank you so much. You are a Godsent!

    Hi Rachel, I’m starting your videos because I have been caretaking for my parents for the past 2 years and I watch the challenges they have in their elderly years from not taking care of themselves. Over the years and ending bad relationships I have developed my own bad habits and coping mechanisms that aren’t healthy like drinking, smoking, and unhealthy comfort foods. It’s time to heal my soul and my body. Along with vegal nerve exercises, meditation, carb manager app I’m excited to add your videos to my health journey.     Just wanted to say thank tou. Thank you for being you thank you for offering this for so many people for free. Its not easy to want to change but not to jave the funds to or the correct and positive information all in ine place. Im watching these before i start the 28 day program. Ive had a lot of weight gained and i just want to be able to do the things i love and hang out with ny pre teen. I also take care of my mom but i cant if i dont prioritize me first and with this, this will be the first step. Thank you and God bless you in all that you strive to achieve in life.

    I'm starting the beginner wall Pilates challenge today. I'm so excited to begin. I just finished a 30 day Yoga challenge. After my husband had a stroke 2 1/2 years ago, I have spent all my time on his rehab. I am ready to "rehab" myself and give myself some focus again. Thank you for giving me this resource to do so.

    I’ve tried lots of Pilates/workout videos on UA-cam and yours stood out because the beginner videos weren’t too hard, you didn’t talk too much but when you did it was helpful! Your warm ups actually help warm up my relevant muscles. I actually looked forward to doing your next video. I also love your philosophy.
    I’ve done 8 days on a challenge and feel stronger! I printed out the challenge calendar and that’s been great. I really appreciate you!

    I am 53 years old and in a rut with my exercising. I was always so ready to work out after work but I broke my leg and ankle a couple years ago and have struggled to get back into a routine. I am super excited to give your 28 day challenge a try. Listening to the 3 mistakes and your positivity has motivated me. My goal is to get fit and flexible again. I am still active but my body is showing my age more because lack of routine and tbh laziness. I am READY!!! Thank you for providing a platform for me to get healthier again.

    Yay another 28 day challenge! I've been doing the weekly routines, but now I'm pumped...yep, coming from me, the girl who hates exercise! Let's be real, probably not everyone wants to exercise daily, but even when I don't want to, I push myself to do it, and it's so rewarding (specially when it's over hehehe) and I think it has a lot to do with you as a person, you're so encouraging and warm and that gives me strength to keep going.     Best and most honest video I've watched. I am 66 years old and still could relate to the "Stress has controlled my life." and I'm just now trying to make those changes. It's tough, but every time I eliminate a stressor, i feel happier. The anxiousness of speaking out/changing is torture for me, but so worth it in the end.

    I'm going to start your challenge today. I just watched this video and got such a good vibe from you. You touched on really important things that I think a lot of fitness "influencers" don't. I've struggled with body image and weight issues my whole life. Staying consistent with exercise has always been an issue for me. So, my goals right now are to stay focused and committed to the 28 day challenge, improve my attitude towards exercise, and to work on my body image issues.

    1. Increase energy through fall/winter
    2. Become consistent in everything I do
    3. Better posture hopefully it'll decrease the amount of tension headaches i wake up with.

    I’m 41 and have always wanted to give wall Pilates a try but the classes are so expensive. Until I found your channel! Thank you so much! I was at a really healthy weight about a year ago but marriage issues caused me to begin emotional eating and the weight piled on.     I'm 54 (55 in 2 months) and just had hip surgery on right side. I need left still. These exercises are similar to my physical therapy. I told my pt I was doing these and she said, keep doing them! She liked them. I started January 1st and want to gain strength again on my hip. I hated pilates, but tried your wall pilates and loved it! So trying this challenge now. I'm having bladder prolapse surgery on the 30th so felt having stronger abs and strengthening my pelvic floor muscles would help me heal faster. I love, love what you said about body image.

    Oh man, you hit on some key struggles. Unhealthy relationships with food, family history of unrealistic body standards, pressures as a mother now to break toxic cycles, the importance of knowing what your body is capable of versus how it looks, and being open to help when it all feels like too much to juggle. All issues that we have seen or experienced ourselves that we don't talk about enough. Your passion is so evident on your channel and your encouragement, I know for at least me, has been really helpful as I have been working on my own goals. As always, thank you for sharing. 😊

      I came across this and I know I should be sleeping but my relationship with food right now is terrible and I know it’s because I’m overcompensating because I know I love to work out but at times I can’t because I have this big ass fibroids that’s very uncomfortable for me to work out. I don’t want to do a hysterectomy which is what doctors seems to have as the only solutions which I honestly can’t seem to believe anyway just figured Pilates my be my answer after I was told not to lift heavy weights 😢😢…thanks for the free video’s will definitely try

    Rachel, I was in an MVA 2 yrs ago and I hurt daily from my back getting pretty messed up and looking at surgeries in the future. It was a nursing career ender. I worked out with weights at the gym prior to the wreck and did Pilates. I found your 28 day wall Pilates workout and eased back into working out. Some days I have to have a couple of days off but, this is helping me get stronger with my core and lose weight that I gained due to not being highly functional like I was prior to the accident. Thank you for this alternative workout. ❤

    I’m 47 and I started in January. I’m on day 27, second time through. I am seeing small changes that make me very happy. At my age and weight, ANY visible change is welcome. Weight loss is not my primary goal; I just want to be stronger. Before starting in January, small tasks made me so tired, especially ones that required bending/squatting or raising my arms over my head. I had low back pain for years and was starting to have hip, neck and shoulder pain. Not having muscle strength was really putting a heavy load on my bones. Almost 2 months done, and most of my joint pain is gone! I have more energy and just feel better. Thank you so much.
    When I am done with this 28 days I will repeat it one more time because I feel like I don’t want to move on without being able to complete every exercise *with* equipment without failure.
    What has helped me to keep at it is putting Wall Pilates on my daily to-do list as a non-negotiable item, like brushing my teeth.

    I'm 58 and I do workout. The wall pilates I have tried were very calming for me! But not really focus on beginners. So I started looking for people on UA-cam and I found you, so I'm going to try your beginner 28 day challenge! Your experience and you personally I like, when you said not to be body focus was comforting to me!🧡

    I recently discovered your channel and wasn't sure if you were someone I would want to follow and work out with, because I've tried many fitness UA-cam channels and been disappointed by most of them. Watching this really helped convince me to check out more of your workouts, because I could tell you are speaking from personal experience about a lot of these things, and I appreciate that you talked about the science behind it. It's been hard for me to find UA-cam fitness channels that I can stick with, but I have a few tried and true ones that have helped me develop a more consistent workout routine ever since being quarantined in 2020. I'm excited to try some of your workouts and challenges, so I'm glad I watched this! 😄

I appreciate the time, commitment, and transparency you put into explaining about what pilates is and isn’t and how to be sensible about our goals.     I finished your 28 day challenge yesterday. And I can feel and see the difference. It’s really helped me maintain a realistic workout routine. I’ve always been obsessed with having a perfect body. But now I have 2 daughters and don’t ever want them to feel like they should obsess about looking a certain way. Your workouts make me feel productive and not like I over did anything. I feel energized, healthy, and satisfied thank you!

    Just finished day two of your plan and after watching this you are now my go to you tuber for workouts. I have three daughters and I am hyper careful about how I talk about my body, weight and food. I do not want them to grow up with the same issues I did. I want to model for them that I am comfortable in my skin, I know that I am wonderfully made and that I can exercise to get strong and healthy. I feel comfortable with them seeing your videos and I like them too!

    I used to be an avid exerciser beginning as a teenager all the way to my late 40's, I was very focused on weight loss and how I looked physically. I really resonate with your goal to shift that ideal because in my mid-50's I developed an autoimmune disease and my body and my muscles have never been the same! I've done my best to adjust, but it's not been easy, I am hoping your 28 day Pilates program can help me get some of my strength and endurance back, even if I don't lose any of the extra weight that came with this disease. You are completely correct about shifting the priorities about why to exercise, your message really hit me in the emotions too.

    The three results I’m looking for are to tone up, set up new healthy habits and gain strength. Thank you for your videos. I can see your passion come through. I also liked the idea of asking myself daily what I can do to minimize the uncomfortable feelings that may come up. That way I can plan ahead. Adapt and overcome!
    We only change when we become uncomfortable.

    You're an angel for making this so accessible to everyone! I'm on day two of your videos! And decided well that's two days in to a 28 day challenge!
    I want to complete this because 1) I want to be able to run and jump and play with my 4 year old and 9 month old boys forever. 2) I want to feel confident and strong. 3) I want to give my body some way to let off some steam in a healthy way, I noticed as a mother I get much more over stimulated throughout the day when I don't move my body as much! ❤

    I just turned 59 and I’m starting tomorrow morning. 😊My goals are 1. To help my ADHD and lower cortisol after a stressful several months 2. Get stronger and more flexible to protect my back 3.     I just found your channel like many others I've seen here. I used to play ultimate frisbee as much as I could, running and physical activity was the best and then I had kids and got a desk job and that all stopped. I'm hoping to just regain some of that desire and energy for physical activity. I want to regain strength and flexibility. Weight-loss would be an added bonus but I want it to be more about my mental space and energy. Thank you for sharing your knowledge honestly.

    I'm going to be 50 this year and I am having a really hard time accepting what society tells me about my aging body and my role in society. Its making me desperately unhappy when i know i actually have so much life ahead of me that i want to enjoy. My children are aged 8, 12 and 14 and deserve a mum who can demonstrate that it is always possible to gain strength no matter where you start from, that respecting ourselves by devoting time to improve something that makes you unhappy is important and finally i want to show them that we never stop learning. If i can use that as motivation and just trust that your videos will get me there then I may finally be able to look forward to this next part of my life. The idea of failing is terrifying! Wish me luck - and thank you x

    Before you even said have a plan, I felt in my heart I need to print out the 28 day challenge and have it on my vision board!!!! Thanks for all the tips and tricks I’m already motivated and haven’t even started! But I will very soon. Today is 1/11/24 and I turned 39 this past Monday the 8th. Can’t wait to strengthen my core. As a student stenographer I need a strong core now for hours of sitting typing on a machine ❤

    Did my first day of the 28 day challenge today! For me my issue has been binge eating/overeating. I have generalized anxiety disorder so binge eating has been my comfort for years. I’ve already cut out some unhealthy things for me (ex:// birth control which caused me to gain a few extra pounds) and am trying to cut out alcohol. I’m not only doing this to challenge to loose weight but to feel better mentally

      Aw I love that! Yea I struggled for many years with restrictive eating and had no idea how anxious I was. Once I went to therapy (both a licensed counselor and a clinical hypnotherapist) it made me aware of how anxious I was about life.. but instead I fixated on food to control and genuinely never thought abt my life stresses.. but they were still there in my subconscious. It definitely took years of work to get to where I am now! I’m so glad the message resonated with you and I hope you find my channel a good fit for you 🙂

    I'm 22 and doing this because I've fallen out of shape. I used to run and bike and i loved being able to walk inclines and take stairs without getting winded. I've also been going through a lot with my mental health. My goal for this plan is to improve my mood, my ability to handle stress, my self-discipline, and my sleep. I hope also to start a path of losing weight and getting toned so I feel more comfortable in my body and so I can be more capable with any physical tasks, like moving furniture for my parents.

    Hello. Thank you so very much for this 28 Day Pilates Challenge. In the past, I have done most of the trendy workouts including Insanity, P90x, TaeBo, Barre, and Winsor Pilates. Truly enjoyed them all and benefited the most when I changed my lifestyle (eliminating added sugar and stopped eating at a time that works for my metabolism). I watched the 1st three prep videos and hit pause to find an accountability partner and will be starting TODAY. So grateful for this.🙏

    Hi Rachel, I’m improving my time management and discipline this year, i know I can do it because I’ve done it before, I went from 98kg to 52kg from eating the correct portion sizes and yoga in my lounge room. I’ve restricted and tried the gyms , PT’s and supplements but the biggest difference was just showing up daily and doing just 10 mins at least, first thing in the morning and my reward is my coffee. It started feeling like a lifestyle and I was excited to do that each morning , and I never felt better but slowly life got on top of me and I’m bringing control back into my life so I feel alive again, so I’m starting your challenge today!
