- Yes, we are still alive. No, we aren't always doing great. Yes, this is still a daily struggle and life hasn't seemed to slow down. No, we never stopped videoing. Yes, we will be sharing all the videos with you but before we do - you need to know where we are coming from. It's not easy for me to share our life like this. There are going to be times where for the sake of my mental health, I take an unexpected and unannounced step back from posting so much. I have to in order to handle having this story being told to so many people. I still believe that it should be told, but having this story on display to so many strangers (as nice as they may be) takes a toll on my mental well being and I get easily overwhelmed.
We appreciate all of your support and the kindness you have shown us and more videos are coming as I'm able to edit them. But until then, here's a glimpse into what we are going through in real-time. The full story is coming soon!

Don't mind at all - January 16, 2023. Time has seemed to freeze as well as move forward at breakneck speed. It's weird.
@@Beyond_Cancer i know how you feel. My mother died when I was 7 years old (I'm 38 now). I feel like I've been frozen in time while everyone else has long since moved on.
I've learned that you have to accept that death is a normal part of our existence, even if it feels like a premature death. Cherish the time you have with your loved ones and wish them farewell when it's over. You will see her again in heaven.
Taco, indeed, you are correct! We got a chance to live life at speed. Everything that happened to us, seemed like it did so in a way that we got to live 20 or 30 years, in just 2 short ones. It was exhausting and at times, maddening. But, I know that the time we got to have together was precious. And I'll treasure it forever.

Hi guys glad to see you. I was so happy about the video but it seems a little bit strange. It was hard to keep up with what you were trying to say as you were both talking together. I'm sure you had a rough day. I think you were saying that you were putting that video out but you had other videos from the whole past that you haven't uploaded yet that we haven't seen. Please be kind to your dogs and stop interrupting your wife so much. You appear to be very controlling.
Hey Sarah! I apologize that you think we are being unkind to our dogs because we definitely are not and I’m curious to know what part specifically you thought was unkind? Those are our babies. Quite literally our own children and we love them with everything in us. The two bigger dogs love to rough house and they know that they can play rough with dad but they have to be gentle with mom. One of the ways we play with them is by teasing them and getting them worked up by making big gestures with our arms or play pushing or jumping at them so they know that we are playing and it’s okay for them to play right then. Im sure you’ll eventually see it in one of the videos because it’s a daily occurrence for us to play with them like they love to do with us 💕
As for the comment about my husband, please don’t make negative comments when you don’t know the full story. We respect different opinions and view points and are open to having conversations about those view points in a positive and constructive way. But we want this channel to be an uplifting place for everyone. So, if you continue to follow along (which we would love to have you!) please consider how you word your concerns in the future so that they are not accusations but rather you asking clarifying questions so that you can gain insight into how and why we do things the way we do.
We are more than happy to answer any questions our supporters have and encourage conversation but I take false accusations/assumptions towards my husband very seriously along with the assumption of me being abused very seriously because I AM a victim of abuse. Sexual, physical and mental/emotional abuse by multiple people in my life. I am very aware of the signs of abuse and while I can understand that there are cases where a spouse interrupting his wife could be a sign of abuse, that’s not what is happening here. I appreciate you trying to stand up for me, but please realize that from someone who HAS been abused severely in the past, it’s just as triggering to most survivor to have someone assume that we are in that position again when I worked really hard to get myself safely out of those situation and by the Grace of God I am no longer in any immediate danger. Darrin is the absolute BEST husband a wife could ask for and he is in NO way controlling. So next time you see something that is concerning to you, please address it as a question and ask for clarification rather than accusing someone of something when you don’t know the full story.
To address your concern of him interrupting me more directly: We BOTH have a tendency to interrupt each other while talking (a communication habit that we are both working on) and if you watch other videos I’m sure you’ll see me doing it as well. But we also have an understanding that I tend to ramble for waaaayyyy too long and lose track of where I’m coming from or going with my long winded talks. So I have specifically asked him to keep me on track and not let me go off course too much or these videos would be hours long and I would never end up sharing anything because it would be too overwhelming (even more so than it already is) to edit them and post them. So when you see him “controlling me” because he is “interrupting” me, it’s actually him doing exactly what I’ve asked him to do in a way that I feel respected, loved, supported and understood. He supports me however I need him to throughout this journey, and one of the ways he does that when filming these videos is by keeping my future well being in mind by keeping me on track and helping the videos be shorter than if I was doing them without his input/guidance so that I don’t feel overwhelmed later on when it comes to editing the videos to be able to be posted.
So as I said, thank you for your concern for me and trying to stick up for me, but I truly am okay and am not being Rudely interrupted or controlled by any means. We appreciate you taking the time to comment and follow along on our journey and we hope to continue to see you around and look forward to interacting with you along with our other supporters in a positive and uplifting way in the future!
I was not implying that your husband is abusive. It's just hard to follow your story when he keeps interjecting things. It's also distracting to rough house the dogs while taping.

It was just a little confusing and than the dogs lol I was watching them more than listening.
Perhaps next time let's have some dog playtime si wr can enjoy them..and than put them in a room for the serious parts? Or they could stay the whole time if you tell them to sit and stay.
I taught my dogs that and it helps when I have boundaries.
As a animal trainer...
I hope you gave the dogs their training because otherwise, with largr multiple dogs it would be unbearable for all, including the dogs as they would love to know their boundries.

Also Darrin is far from being a bad man or abuser. He is the opposite and is just vary protective of you and this has all been very hard on him. I have watched since day 1...more than once and if others would do the same they would know him like I do.

@@sarahtamura4993 With all due respect, "control" is a form of abuse and saying they should be kind to the dogs implies that they're being mean or unkind to them..let's not get caught up with semantics..so yes..you were implying both of those things
