  • THAT IS A WRAP FOR FEBRUARY! In this video, I go over the past month of furniture flips and share how much profit I made. I was able to flip 12 total pieces of furniture in the month of February. Surprisingly, I think this will be our slowest month from here on out! Thank you so much for 10,000 subscribers (and now we are all the way up to 12.5K)!! I can’t believe it and this could not be done without your support! Check out the links below to watch the full video version of each flip.

    So my grandparents owned a huge antique warehouse & after my papa passed, my gma started selling off & giving away antiques to family for free. Every house I've ever lived in was & still is partially furnished with old, wooden antiques. Although my gma gave me the furniture, she's never allowed me to paint anything. She thinks I'll screw up a "nice piece of furniture."
    Watching this video gives me the motivation to paint a freaking nightstand, & it's also giving me something to show my gma. Maybe she'll let me paint something after she sees how great your pieces turned out! 🤞

I have paid off my credit card, my car, my husband's car and now I just started working on the student loan debt. • @wewemcrhyne
      @wewemcrhyne 3 роки тому +3

      I know the amount of the loan can be overwhelming. But look how much you’ve paid off in the last year! I’m so proud of you and your husband. My husband and I did the same thing 15 or more years ago. It was soooo hard, especially in ‘08-‘09 recession hit. But we did it! We started retirement, education funds for the girls (now in college) and bought life insurance. Last year my 52 year old husband died unexpectedly of COVID. The greatest gift he gave to me was financial stability so I can take care of my girls and not have to work full time. This probably won’t happen to you, but if something did happen, you’re better able to take care of yourself now than 1 year ago. And in a year, you will be even so much more secure. You’re doing a great job!!!

    I know this was after the “snow-pocalypse” (I’m in Dallas where we got several inches of snow, ice, power outages for a week and that’s what we called the storms, which we’re not used to here) and you’ve since paid off you student loan debt and now putting your income towards buying a house !

    I am honestly surprised that you were able to only have $25k in student loans. I had a roommate that is also a teacher who has $100k in debt.
    I think it’s awesome how much you are being able to pay off! It sounds like you should have it all paid by the end of the year.

Then I began thinking wow she is really good at this and became very interested in what you were going to decide to do with each piece. What a inspiration you are! With so many believing someone else needs to excuse their loans you set a wonderful example for all. How fortunate your students are!

    I notice that the dressers have locks in each drawer. This is a very desirable feature, being that it can be used for thing you want/need to keep either private or safe. It is worth more than a similar piece without any lock, much less each drawer having individual locks.

The look in their eyes as they were imagining that pieces destiny! It was also great quick money. My husband encouraged me to try painting and possibly triple my earnings. UUUUUMMMMM 🦗🦗🦗🦗 from me. I was sooooo afraid & still a little scared. I CAN'T thank you enough for your videos, your spirit, your explanations & your smile!!! I'm rooting for you as you pay off your debt!!!! I love some of these pieces! By the way, IMO you should always take into consideration the time you spend on each flip. It's not true that it cost you 10$ to flip X desk. It's 10$ plus X hours worth X $ per hour. Not only does it help you fix the correct price, but it also permits you to evaluate your real profit. Time is not free. At all. The older I get, the more I realise it, unfortunately.
