Just a thought but how would a ghoul live life with humans? Would scientists grow human limbs in a lab and give it to the ghouls or would they just eat people who have already died?

I think that the second child will have to put up with a lot of judgement and fear-if the dragon situation became a more widely known thing then I think people, especially ghouls themselves would fear this child becoming subject to traumas like his father and potentially becoming a kakuja, presumably everything kaneki went through would be kept secret but if this child was to find out about the torture (both emotional and physical) his family has gone through it may spawn a ghoul that grows to hate most people- in a world where ghoul-human relations are fragile this could present a problem where a cycle starts similar to kanekis where everyone seems to want to kill him
As I read this back some days later I realised that there was no context to ichika-I don’t believe she would have this problem as she was conceived before dragon and so she would be seen as a regular one eyed ghoul and her nature is predictable

Not to mention daughters follow their fathers while sons follow their mother's... At least in the early stages.
It scares me to think of the possibilities that a tragedy could affect their family now.
Kaneki's Second child is conceived in his post Dragon state so I guess that child will have interesting abilities.
I think that this second child might be more ghoul than human compared to Ichika since like Ichika was with Kaneki's human and ghoul DNA separated, now this second child already has a full-ghoul mother, and a pure half-ghoul father. Maybe looking somewhat like a full-ghoul, with both kakugans, but like some human traits left, maybe he is more powerful than the ordinary ghoul, or like he can consume human food, etc.

To be honest I don't think that this is still a problem at that time in the story. The girlfriend of Nishiki (I forgot her name) was already researching about "normal food" that ghouls could eat and while it's not stated in the manga itself I'm pretty sure that at the time where Touka is pregnant with the second child there is already something like that.
(This would change the ghoul-human relationship in the whole world by the way :D )

Sui Ishida did say that he was done with Tokyo Ghoul and honestly I think that might be for the best, but with that said he did leave it very open ended and that does leave the possibility for a third installment, however after hearing what Sui Ishida revealed about what was going on with him as he tried to think of a way to end the story I don't believe he would write it, the only real hope the fans of Tokyo Ghoul have for a continuation would be if Sui Ishida were to pass on the answers and ideas he had to someone else who would be willing to continue and do whatever they want with Tokyo Ghoul, I know that for the most part this is just wishful thinking but I thought it was worth sharing this since a friend of mine had also talked about some of the possibilities this video had mentioned.
I doubt Sui will be making anymore of Tokyo Ghoul, he is making a entirely different manga anyways

I think Kaneki would teach his kids empathy. He's the type to go through tragedy and learn empathy rather than the type to inflict pain on others to feel better, by the end of the story at least.
There's basically no one who can actually kill him after dragon his manipulation of kagune was involuntary (to a degree) he just had to think (not voluntarily activating his kagune) not to mention it was more powerful than all the people defending him.
He doesn't live on the run because he doesn't even need to, so why would his children turn out bad?

Furthermore, kaneki at the beginning of the story is very shy and quite where as hide is very loud and possibly have more friends. He would go to CCG and let them inspect him and he will eventually be accepted as an officer due to his obvious human persona
Been waiting for this ever since ch 179 when we all saw that baby bump. I always thought about this mysterious child wanting to know how powerful he/she could be. It’s definitely fun to think about all the possible things. I always thought about the relationships between parents and child with ghouls and some times humans such as with Akira something of a tragedy. Never knowing it could be a endless cycle of despair for both sides. Another damn good episode of enlightenment keep it up dude. Maybe we can all get our wish soon to see some kind of continuation of the story but maybe not.

I have this feeling that there will be a large contrast from Ichika, to the other child. Ichika perhaps being more feminine like Touka in an sense of potential, and the other child being on par with Kaneki. However it could be the other way around depending on how their genes were shared to their children. Anyways it is still interesting to think about

I’ve never actually sat and thought about how the family situation would go until now. But now I’m so fascinated with the thought. Can you imagine how dark that could get and the amounts of p a i n.
I also never realized the disconnection with parents in Tokyo Ghoul until you pointed it out. But you’re right, it’s so obvious but we never really focus on it. And that definitely adds to the idea of how Kaneki and his children’s relationship could end up being.

So, kaneki's next child is pretty much vergil from devil may cry, i mean think of it, Has a lot of raw power and potential, is a bad ass, has white hair, is a hybrid between to similar species, and in a sense kinda drifts away from his family in the pursuit of power after finding out who and what his father is and was, now if those aren't striking similarities than i'm done.

arima is kanekis dad and he ran away because of his aging problem and didn't want to get attached to kaneki just for him to die and bring more pain to kaneki and himself idk I just feel like that might of been what happened also since he would by a human ghoul hybrid that means that's probably why kaneki was able to handle rizes RC cells and "become the perfect hybrid"

In my opinion Kaneki's second child gonna be a boy with violet hair and dad's eyes. I mean opposite of Ichika. He is impulsive, easy to become mad and he has a lot of in common with Touka bro. Maybe at his life he will do revolution, come at bandit group, but finally he will achieve all his aims, however stay impulsive and doesnt stop be a revolutinair or fighter of justice.

I know it probably wont happen but I'd love a next gen sequel of tokyo ghoul to revolve around Ichika versus her brother, who as he discovers the terrible power he inherited turns him into the villain, where we see the relationship with his family breaking down, as he discovers these secrets they kept from him. It wouldn't surprise me if kaneki's new organs were like a dragon orphan version of a kakuhou, and their second child being born half-ghoul, half Dragon Orphan. I could see Kaneki and Touka explaining the situation to Ichika so they can trust her to look after her younger brother so that he doesn't get carried away with his power, but that ultimately backfiring when he realizes even his own sister who he loves and trusts more than anyone else already knew and essentially lied to him his whole life. While the ending of Re seemed like a perfect fairy tale ending, I think its more just that we were only shown the good parts. There's still plenty of terrible people and ghouls in the world who wouldn't be able to move on with the rest of society, still hating and hunting each other, and using the siblings to illustrate that ongoing social struggle would be really engaging, while simultaneously in the background we see the Dragon Orphans become more intelligent and sentient posing a greater threat. Maybe we could even get a story about Kaneki's son splintering off and becoming their king and in a twisted way, raising them to act more human-like, creating commentary on the way we view nature versus nurture.
It's powerful because Kaneki is completely in dragon form, his second child may have acquired that specific kagune and touka
I think that Kaneki and Touka aren’t gonna be split from their children because Kaneki is The One-Eyed King so no one would mess with his family and plus if you listen to the story properly then you’d know that humans and Ghouls are slightly living and accepting each other
They should make a anime about Kanekis second child it’ll be cool his hair could be like haise and he’ll be badass going on like adventures with his sister and have his dad be op and not nerfed like what they did to naruto in boruto but nicely paced and make him stronger slowly probably have his sister and mom die and kaneki and his son is heartbroken with both of their hair turned full white and wearing kanekis old mask will be dope and looking for the ppl who killed them ( whoever it’ll be) and than like they kill them with struggle and etc idk I just think that’ll be cool

Yup, as much as I love the anime, every episode had a timeskip in RE that skipped doezens of chapters, which was terrible, each episode confused so many people due to how much they were skipping through.

well this is so clear that Tokyo ghoul re manga series are unfinished. there were so many things Ishida sensei escaped from answering.
at the end of the manga there were several ghoul human marriages, the synthetic human flesh was created for the ghouls to eat, and the ccg started to work to bring ghouls and humanity together. Humanity started to accept ghouls anyways.
Akihiro Kaneki is my name for the unnamed son. For me, the name Akihiro would for somebody like the son of Kaneki. Akihiro, meaning "bright scholar, shining abroad" would make sense for a child of Kaneki's since Kaneki doesn't give up easily, and he always finds a way to pull through. To me, that should apply to his children, as Kaneki would likely teach his children to be kind, but strong.
I would love to see another season of it.

Wouldn’t Touka either die from carrying the second child or have her dna changed since it would have had the post dragon cells? That would make it so that he would have had to raise the children by him self and having them as reminders of who / what he has lost. Given that at some point he would probably sacrifice himself to save his children and soon after they find out about everything that happened befor they were born.

If someone does want to make a new Tokyo ghoul or third installment of the franchise, then in my opinion the story should take place 20 years after the end of Tokyo ghoul RE, The ghoul and human relationship has been relatively strained, but have been intact due to the fear of another war against ghouls and humans, however a certain ghoul who becomes into a warmonger ,and is sick of the peace, decides to amputate the already fragile relationship between man and ghoul, he will have to overcome family resistance, resistance from both sides, and “The new grim reaper”, in my opinion this might actually work, if your wondering about other details, then please do reply and give me some of your ideas as well....

I’m starting to think that Kaneki and Touka’s son will be named Arima, named after the guy who Kaneki was friends with when he was Haise. Or maybe their son will be named Haise to honor the half ghoul investigator Touka fell in love with. And I think he will be what Kaneki was before becoming a ghoul, a quiet and shy boy who keeps to himself and is scared most of the time. And if TOKYO ghoul does get a sequel series with Ichika being the main character judging by her adult design and the series takes place in New York City, I think there will be a story arc where Ichika will teach her little brother to be brave and fend for himself.
