As you rightly said, people travelled and migrated to lands, each country has many different regions and people of various faiths. Many other factors combine It all impacts their food. There isn’t a single land that ever existed where everyone all made the same dish in the same way. It always amazes me how each person does it differently and that’s the wonderful beauty of home cooking for me.

Tomatoes, peppers and corn were only in North America. It was introduced to rest of the world by Europeans. Imagine Italian food with no tomatoes or Indian food without peppers. Food has no boundaries.

My mother,s family that includes my husband , , their ancestors belongs to Afghanistan, ( Kandahar) I am so happy that now I can cook Afghani dishes
