For those of us in our teens when this came out, we were captivated by all of the videos being on this stark stage. We were all in shock from Bon Scott’s death and the reverence shown by the band left all of us deeply moved.
Even now I remember exactly where I was when I heard that Bon Scott had died. It was such a shock. I thought the band would be finished after that, but when the next album came out they raised their game way above anything we could have expected. So now we have a lifetime of fantastic rock music to continue to enjoy and pass to the next generations.
Seen them live in concert several times they put on a awesome show, going on a European tour this summer 🏝️🌞🎸🤘😝🤘

The majority of the band menbers aren't very tall with Malcolm Young on Rythm ( 5'3"), Angus Young on lead (5"2"), Cliff Williams on Bass (5'8"), Phil Rudd on drums (5'6") and Brian Johnson, singer (5'5), and I suppose this is why the guitar that Malcolm is using, looks huge. After Malcom's health started deteriorating in 2014, his place was taken by his nephew, Steive. Great reaction ladies to a fantastic band😀😀👍👍

The reason Angus Young is always in his school uniform is because he used to run home from school to practice in their early days. He made it his thing . There is a super fan that follows them all over the world , a German bloke , and Angus has given a lot of his uniforms to him . Angus is a really small guy , only 5"2' tall . Thats why the guitar is so big looking on him. Its joked that Angus could fall down the stairs backwards and still not miss a note.

Not true though. In the beginning, they were experimenting with a lot of outfits for Angus. Gorilla suit, Superman, Choir boy. It was his sister who found the school uniform and that's what stuck.
The story goes that his sister told him she thought he looked cute in his school uniform. The rest is history.
Anger's a schoolboy outfit cut from his sister making that for him it was not because he ran home from school to practice it was done as a joke and he stayed with cause those brought so much attention

Malcolm Young is only 5'3" - (Angus Young's brother) he's playing the white guitar which looks like a hollow-body Gretsch guitar. Those guitars are a bit oversized so you're correct on both observations. Malcolm is small and the guitar is big!

You ladies are awesome! My favorite band is AC/DC. I was 10 years old the first time I saw them back in 1974. I have seen them 5 times live through out the years. I love all types of music but AC/DC is my favorite. Some other songs you ladies need to check out if you haven’t already done so is “If you want blood, you’ve got it”with Bon Scott singing, “Given the dog a bone” off of Back in Black”, there are so many great songs by them. Listen to them all.

Im proud to say that as a Swede we were instrumental in making ACDC famous. After the Scandinavian tour USA found out abot them :)
Another great AC/DC tune is called "Who Made Who"! Of course they have a number of super tunes! Glad the Scotts moved to Australia then formed the band.

Anything from the BACK IN BLACK album is PURE FIRE!!! I love how I’m 52, and fell in love with ACDC at age 10, and you ladies are far from 10, but love them too. Bonn Scott, original ACDC lead singer was just as great as Brian Johnson. And the 2 songs that have NEVER BEEN REACTED TO but most requested, are DOWN PAYMENT BLUES and RIDE ON. AC/DC guys stood around 5 ft tall. Malcolm Young was the one who was holding the white guitar. That guitar was too big for him. Size of the instrument doesn't matter, the riffs are impeccable. Angus and Malcolm both legends! 🤘
This song has a deep meaning, a track on the Back in Black album which came out after Bon Scott's death. Back in Black is one of the best selling abums of all time by the way.

My number one band.❤❤papa taught lulu well then. First video i watched, he had a ACDC shirt on. My very first concert was them. This song saved a soldiers life. He was badly wounded and had to be left behind. He would blast this in his barricks. So when they came back after him, they blasted this song from the helicopter over enemy lines so he would know they were there to get him❤❤😂😂
Angus STILL rocks out in his school boy outfit and is in his 70s. Malcolm his brother passed away a few years ago R.I.P.🙏 you will be missed but not forgotten

AC/DC came back from long hiatus with Brian Johnson singing since he went for treatment for his hearing loss. They played at Power Trip Festival in California earlier this month.

I love how Kathy and Donna tries to keep theyr composure while Lulu is being passionate and excited over the artists,but they cant help but to smile and laugh in between. Shoutout to Lulu for liking AC/DC though,at her age i barely had anyone in my class listening to them amongst the girls.
I knew some that listened to The Doors,some Guns n Roses,and i think a few listened to Led Zeppelin,but that was about it.

The guy with the "huge Gretsch Jet Firebird" white guitar,is actually Angus Young`s brother Malcolm. Malcolm sadly passed away from the effects of dementia on 18 November 2017. All the Young brothers is rather short in height. Angus is 5`1 while his brother Malcom is/was 5`2. So the guitar looks massive on Malcom for sure lol. Malcolm and Angus never stood still,Angus still doesnt at 68 years old. No wonder you thought they had some soda/energy drinks in front of this performance

The bell sound was an actual bell...a 2000 lb bronze bell...recorded inside a mobile studio at the bell foundry in Loughborough, England. Dr. Pepper? Ummmm....not exactly.
Just an FYI, it's about 99.9% likely that Bon wrote the songs on this album (Back in Black). This was supposed to be his great breakthrough but he died before they got in the studio. This was their last great album and after they ran out of Bon's songs it was all downhill from here.
I have a theory about Brian Johnson's voice, he's from Newcastle in the North East of England, an industrial area and breathing the the air is responsible for the gravel he has.

AC/DC been out since 74 and makes since the lead singer Brian Johnson turned 74 this year, but they have close to 30 studio albums of new material I recommend the teenager here listen to it all, and when she listens to AC/DC her neighbors must listen to it as well turn it up to 11

Malcom (the brother of Angus) might seem small or the guitar huge for two separate reasons. Malcom wasn’t very tall. Also, he is and often did play an electric guitar known as a ‘semi-hollow body’. Most electric guitars are a solid piece of wood and the electronics do much of the work. I’m sure you’re well aware that acoustic guitars are just a ‘frame’ and fully open inside for the sound to resonate loudly without help. So semi-hollow bodies are essentially in between that. Therefore they have larger bodies., whilst still being electric guitars. Make sense? 🙂

Highway to Hell was Bon Scott's album. I've walked his Highway to Hell to the Raffles Hotel along Canning Hyw here in WA Perth. Met him when I was 8yrs old. He bought me a Fire Engine drink."Lemonade with red grarena" Non alcoholic. Sat me on his bar stool. 1978. Didn't even know who he was.😊

Angus is a tea drinker only. When they were starting out and touring Australia non stop Angus became ill enough to see a doctor. He was asked about his diet which back the, was Mars bars and milk.

This was the very first thing i have heard from them. I did not know at the time the he is the second singer. then i went back and listened to earlier stuff and wow . lots of bands would break up when the singer dies, not AC/DC, they go out and make the biggest album of their career

My high school era was rough for rock artists. We lost Keith Moon, Bonn Scott, Jon Bonham and Karen Carpenter to name a few. I figured it was the end of AC/DC, like the other groups. It was shocking to see AC/DC come back so soon and so strong with Brian Johnson on the Back in Black Album. They certainly far surpassed my expectations, but I still am partial to the Bonn Scott era.
