Check out Jeff Healey "SEE THE LIGHT" 1988, "AS THE YEARS GO PASSING BY", "WHILE MY GUITAR GENTLY WEEPS", "LOOK AT LITTLE SISTER w/ Stevie Ray Vaughn. He was an Insanely talented guitarist from canada and he was blind. He's up there as one of the greatest guitarist in the world.

I was lucky enough to see AC/DC at the Whisky a Go Go nightclub in August 1977 on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles, a small club that barely held 500 people. I was about 2 feet in front of the stage! Angus jumped up on the balcony and walked along the thin parapet playing a solo. This song Whole Lotta Rosie was in their playlist that night!!! Glad you guys appreciated it! AC/DC will always be in a realm all their own.

There are a lot of great guitar players out there. But I can't think of one that can match Angus Young's energy. He's not only a great guitar player but he is also a great song writer and a great entertainer. The recipe for a great band!

OK, so we have the biggest blow-up doll on earth, the greatest rock band who ever lived, in front of the greatest rock audience in the history of concerts and that's why you have absolute perfection. I love how they got 'Rosie's' feet tap along with the music, that was so damned cool! The guys were in their 60's when they played this gig back in 2009 and sadly Malcolm Young has since sadly passed away RIP.

My wife and I went and saw AC/DC and literally couldn’t hear for two days and I will tell you this the sweat that was literally pouring off of Angus proved to me that he put more into his performance than any professional athlete. It was just an incredible show. As for another guitarist to check out is Terry Kath from Chicago. Jimmy Hendrix said Terry was better than him. 25 6 or 4 live at Tangelwood give it a listen.

You know, Fenom, I'm with you 100%. I've never played an instrument before, but I know what I like and, while I like a lot of guitarists, Angus' guitar-playing just sounds different to me. I don't know whether it's the rhythm of their songs or perhaps the speed at which he plays, but I know his guitar sounds fantastic. And it certainly doesn't hurt that, running around bare-chested, he puts every bit of energy he has into their music and looks like he's having a great time doing it. And it also helps that the other members of the band are absolute masters of their craft and their lyrics and music are fire. And RIP Angus' brother Malcolm, of whom Angus said "GOAT? I'm not even the best guitarist in my own family".
I'm not sure I'd want them as best buds, though. You do something you're not too proud of with a lady and the next thing you know, these boys are singing a crazy-assed song about it!

One of the lyrics says "weighing in at 19 stone" .. a "stone" in the United Kingdom is 14 lbs. That means Rosie weighed about 266 lbs. at that time.

Eddie Van Hale, Steve Vai, Warren De Martini, David Gilmore, Dave Mustang, Gary Moore, Ace Frehley, Jimmy Hendricks etc. They are all good in their own way.

If you want guitarists check out Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Clapton,Jimmy Page from Led Zeppelin, Gary Moore, jeff Beck, Eddie Van Halen. Ill throw in some extra guys who are great but dont generally play rock, their either blues or jazz fusion bands or players. Check out Steely Dan song Reeling in the years, George Benson song On Broadway live, its tremendous. A killer show stopper is joe bonamassa and beth hart .. i would rather go blind..its so fucking good i have no words.....start with that and a whole new world of enlightenment will be at your disposal!

The best version imo is on the only live album they did with Bon Scott 'If You Want Blood, You Got It'.
