Fun fact: following this concert, the stadium had to have it's foundations reinforced, along with a bunch of other structural repairs. Shake Your Foundations!
Every account I've seen of it say that it was an earthshaking experience. It's amazing the place didn't crumble. If you watch some of the videos you'll see the high up cameras looking at the crowd and stage and they'll start to shake from all the people jumping to the music. I've been in concerts where hundreds of people are jumping on a concrete floor and it starts to move two inches vertically as everyone is jumping. Too young to realize the dangers posed at that time.
@@chrismaverick9828 Yep. I played a gig one time at an old hotel/ballroom, up the second level. When we launched into 'Killing in the Name Of', I was genuinely worried that we might have to call it quits before everything collapsed!
Just found your channel and you lot are hilarious. Now, Rosie: singer, Bon Scott (RIP) met Rosie in Tasmania, Australia during a tour and Rosie wore him out. She was, as the song says "a whole lot of woman".
That was an amazing reaction. Kathy’s huge smile when the inflatable Rosie appeared. Used to play it in teen discos. Saw them live Dublin 1981, only 6,000 there. ❤️👍🏽👍☘️
This has to be the best reaction I've seen! Ladies, your expressions..... When they realized who Rosie was..... PRICELESS!! 😂LAUGHING WHILE CRYIN'!! That's as real as it gets! Thank yall so much! Nothing but blessings and love to you and yours! DC from KY is OUT!! So awesome!
Bon Scott went to see Brian Johnson band called Geordie and Bon sees Brian on stage screaming his head off and Bon goes to Angus,Malcolm, Cliff and Phil and says hey you guys got to see this guy he amazing what Bon didn’t know the reason why Brian was screaming because His appendix was rupturing!
They only invented Brian Johnson to join acdc , after Noddy holder had refused, stating I'm already in a band , ther called Slade 🏴 happy healthy peace ✌️
Bon Scott wasn't just the lead singer, he also played a non traditional rock instrument, a good song to find out what it is "A long way to the top" with Bon Scott.
I remember as a young bloke, on holidays, when AC/DC went to Orange NSW the sight of Bon Scott in a pair of very short cutoff denim short was walking down the main road, every teenage girl for miles around. was trotting along with him, an incredible sight.
AC~DC is a band I showed my kids when they were wanting to play in a band. My youngest plays drums, my eldest guitar... I showed them AC~DC, Aerosmith and Queen... and told them if they want to be in a band, they have to sing like Brian, perform like Freddie, jam like the entirety of Aerosmith... and play like Angus.
Also for an epic Bon Scott performance check out Let There be Rock live at the Apollo Theater 🎭 Glasgow in 1978. Lulu be rockin out to this one guaranteed 🎸
Priceless reaction to a great band. I was at one of the concerts on this tour 15 years ago. Stadium sold out show 60 thousand plus. I brought 3 of my kids 7, 10 and a fresh 14 year old. Was a crazy wild concert that even had huge thunderstorm that happened during. Nothing like seeing Brian Johbson swinging from a giant Bell and rope in a terrifying lighting storm in Edmonton Alberta. There was am F5 tornado here in 1987 with great loss. I was really praying that my kids were not about to witness an act of God. One of many shows I have included my kids in. Keep it up as you are fun to watch. Bluesfingers1
Rosie has been gracing the stage with the band since the 90s. Keeping in mind the average high of the band is 5,3 foot tall, Angus makes good use of the trust stage during his solo has a habit of mooning the crowd with boxers of the counties flag. Prays are with drummer Phil Rudd ( the only Kiwi in the band)as his partner is battling cancer right now
In 2021, the woman the song was written about was identified by British-Australian AC/DC biographer Jesse Fink as Rosemaree (or stylized as Rose-Maree) Garcia, an Australian sex worker who saw Scott for some time before he went to England.
I got to see them in the 80s....the doll wasnt quite as big but at the end of the song they had Rosie fly over the audience...on wires of course but 18 yrs old and stoned out of my tree it was cool as hell
Omg thats epic. Gotta wipe the spit off my screen now😂😂😂when Donna and Lulu seen Rosie😂😂dang only two minutes in im roflmao😂😂and with her shit eating grin knowing what they are about to experience 😂😂😂my number one band❤the rest of this will be EPIC. Thanks. Needed this😅😅😂😂❤
There’s no experience like seeing these guys live. Saw them in 1986- Greensboro Coliseum in North Carolina. It was so loud that ceiling tiles fell from the rafters. I couldn’t hear properly for days.
I've always said it: AC /DC, Australia's greatest contribution to world culture. Seen them a few times and always came away exhausted and unable to hear properly for ages afterwards. Happy days!
The really fun part? Bon was just another notch on Rosie's belt! Mind, every time the band was in Launceston, Tasmania, where Rosie lived, Bon always sought her out. He described her as "a real Tassie tiger!"
You have to listen to the song for those about to rock from the same concert. It’s got the final theatrical surprise in it. You’ll love it once you see them.
Lulu's comment on Rosie: "She was sitting on a train" resulted in a Long. And. Awkward SILENCE. We all wonder, why. Don't we. - And DON'T tell Lulu!!! Really. This is important! 😇😁
Love this family, the way they rock together, but grandma definitely goes out for blood haha and gets all the attention she deserves, wish my grandma would've been like this, (music wise) Love you guys "3GR" 🤘😖🤟 BY THE WAY this was live in "River Plate" Argentina (no need for translation, that's the actual name of the town even though they're hispanic) any AC/DC song out of this concert sounds better than the studio version of it, unless you want to hear Bon Scott then you go for the original video.
OMG i love AC/DC they are the best band in the world OMG Angus Young my all time favorite guitar player their music just gets me going so much energy hype just pure fun
Ich mag es, wenn Eltern und Großeltern den Jugendlichen gute Musik näher bringen... Und wenn die jungen Menschen diese Musik noch gerne hören dann ist das noch besser. Ich bin 62 Jahre jung und höre nur solche Musik.
Just found yalls channel so going thru and catching up... fun to watch the multi-generational reaction.. and the AC/DC concert at River Platte was 3 days and every show sold out 75,000 fans each night... check out their performance of "Let there be Rock" .. Angus has a Monster solo thats worth seeing
Bon Scott was actually the 2nd lead singer, but most people have heard the original singer, I don't even know what his name is. He was notorious for missing sessions and Bon Scott was originally a Roadie who they got sing during a mussed session and they ended up booting the guy
Fun fact: following this concert, the stadium had to have it's foundations reinforced, along with a bunch of other structural repairs. Shake Your Foundations!
shake your foundations for real LMAO
I-E-I-E. O. shake your foundations

I'm guessing the concert was a touch too much for the stadium 🍻
Lulu's a real trooper. And the Star of the show! Makes my heart feel good to see her enjoy the great music I grew up with.
Thanks
All great🇮🇪
There's no robotics in Rose. It's stage crew pulling her leg, to make it bounce.
Love your reaction to blown up Rosie.....classic! This song is one of the highlights of the entire concert. Just ballistic.
AC/DC full that stadium for 3 nights in a row!
3 shows in 5 nights. They were already at the age that back to backs were too much, especially for Brian's vocal chords.
This has always been my favorite AC/DC song!!! Angus shreds that guitar in this song!!!
2:09 Donnas instant reaction, followed by Lulus look of horror on her face, absolutely destroyed me!
Me too!!!
Same here. I spit all over my screen😂😂😂epic reaction😂

❤️👍🏽👍☘️
This is how to rock an audience ! Love this band so much xx
Bon Scott was AC/DC's SECOND vocalist, not the first. The first vocalist was Dave Evans, who left before they recorded the debut album.
Live from Argentina! The Live at River Platte is considered by some to be the best rock concert ever.
The band had the doll made as a tribute to Bon after his passing. Best band ever. Saw them twice in the 80's
Then you remember the Angus doll mooning everyone😂😂😂miss that one. Seen them 81 FTATR and 96 Ballbreaker tour 😂❤❤
Every song at that concert rocked.
I saw them live in 1980 Hannover/ Germany and 2001 also in Hannover . Times fly by so fast . RIP Bon , RIP Mal .
Yes some comfort they will writing songs together again
The thing that fascinates me the most is that their grandma's age Great reaction ladies rock on
Kathy your laugh you tried to hide when Rosie came out made my day, great reaction to a great band/song
Thanks
Well said Glen, spot on mate!
Whole lotta reaction!
Thank You, and greetings from Helsinki, Finland!
Thanks for watching!
This has to be the best reaction I've seen! Ladies, your expressions.....

He actually said to Angus about him "busting a gut" ge was so good... (he didn't know right enough!) Good book that.
I love them all 🤩, let there be rock 💪🏴
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤55

Lulu is always; rockin. She seems to really get into the music
Best version of this is live at The Apollo with Bon Scott singing.
Senza dubbio ...il live del appolo il migliore in assoluto egli ac dc
AC~DC is a band I showed my kids when they were wanting to play in a band.

the great band acdc and angus , rock 'n' roll forever👍👍🤘🤘
Bon Scott was once what the train is in the animation. True story.
During this gig sysmographs noticed a little Eartquake in Europe!❤
Also for an epic Bon Scott performance check out Let There be Rock live at the Apollo Theater 🎭 Glasgow in 1978. Lulu be rockin out to this one guaranteed 🎸
Added it to the list.
They need to hear the live version of the Jack from Appollo 😁😁😁😁 Off of the If You Want Blood live album
She was on the “Rock n Roll Train.” It’s an actual song.

Hello from Texas.
@@KathyLuluandDonna cheers, Nice reaction. I'm really enjoyed.

Thank you, Donna for your spontaneous reaction to Lulu seeing "Whole Lotta Rosie". Hide the children, this one is "No one under 18 Allowed".
Grandma is out here getting her groove on. I love it!
In 2021, the woman the song was written about was identified by British-Australian AC/DC biographer Jesse Fink as Rosemaree (or stylized as Rose-Maree) Garcia, an Australian sex worker who saw Scott for some time before he went to England.
I watch these ladies from over here in the UK for their amazing accents, I could listen for hours.
I got to see them in the 80s....the doll wasnt quite as big but at the end of the song they had Rosie fly over the audience...on wires of course but 18 yrs old and stoned out of my tree it was cool as hell
I bet that was awesome.

Thank you so much.
Thrust stage....😮
I was today years old when I learned that! Thankyou. Awesome reaction, keep up the good work 😂🤘👍
Much love from Australia 🇦🇺🤘
Thanks for watching!
Rosie is also associated with the song the jack, first time they performed it Rosie was in the crowd and knew initiate the song was about her
They need to hear the live raunchy version of the Jack off the If you want blood live album.
These guys are the goats
There's all generations in that crowd
You guys r gr8. keep digging deeper into hard rock and heavy metal from the 70's-80's. That's the classic era
~ 220 000 at River Plate 2009 .
Lulu's comment on Rosie: "She was sitting on a train" resulted in a Long. And. Awkward SILENCE. We all wonder, why. Don't we. - And DON'T tell Lulu!!! Really. This is important! 😇😁
I saws three AC/DC shows live! Was wonderful.❤
So cool!
Aguante AC/DC.!! Argentina, tierra de rock en las venas.!!
Now that's rock n roll.. !!!!!!
Wish I was there, seen them live in concert before crazy people yeah, big women, good jam, good review 🎸🥁🎤🔥🔥🤘😆🤘

42 39 56 weighing in at 19 stone. Rosie is a pear shape and weighs 264 pounds ( 1 stone is 14 pounds)…whole lotta Rosie
Do you know the other ac/dc song with a woman's measurements in it?
OMG i love AC/DC they are the best band in the world OMG Angus Young my all time favorite guitar player their music just gets me going so much energy hype just pure fun
Ich mag es, wenn Eltern und Großeltern den Jugendlichen gute Musik näher bringen...

Ich bin 62 Jahre jung und höre nur solche Musik.
At his age he should keep his shirt on. You may have to google the train reference Lulu ?
Aguante Rock 🤘 ésto es Sudamérica 🇦🇷🇧🇷🇨🇱🇵🇪🇺🇾🇨🇴🇪🇨🇵🇾🔥❤️ pasión y descontrol.
Old nana , she’s brilliant
Best rock band ever🔥🔥
ACDC lendários e as três São umas lindezas um beijo aqui do Brasil ao lado da Argentina
EL POGO MAS LOCO DEL MUNDO
Rosie was even tapping her foot
Grandma's eye.🤣🤣🤣🤣
Three beautiful ladies and their great reaction 🌹
Thank you
Rosie was a actual person Bon met who was from Tasmania originally then moved to St Kilda in Melbourne , her story is pretty tragic actually
Three generations of Texas girls reacting ACDC... Awesome video, thanks!
Thanks for watching!
Great reaction.
Thanks!
Lulu reminds me of my youngest granddaughter she’s 15 lives in Alabama. ❤️
Bon Scott was their 2nd singer. Dave Evans was their original singer.
Yep mom lost it again 😂

Another great vid.❤❤👍
Go to the start of the concert.. the 1st 2 songs, you can really see the crowd,, and youll know where the train came from
I highly reccomend the opening animation before the concert that ends with the train driving through a wall
That was NUTS! 🤘😂🤘
Yo estube ahi . AC/DC en river plate argentina el mejor concert of history. Saludos desde Quilmes Argentina
Here's Bon Scott singing "Whole Lot of Rosie" live: ua-cam.com/video/CHo2EqDpK7g/v-deo.html
the stage is actually a guitar. the cat walk is the neck and ends as the end of a guitar.
Had some of my army buddy's go and we all took our oldenoug kids to. My two kids were 17 and 18. They were going nuts there.
acdc lead guitar is what amazed me!
Angus young. His brother Malcolm the one with the singlet smashing it has now passed away, Angus has always said Malcolm was a better player,
The riff already existed in their song Dirty Eyes. I forgot about that.
There are no rules in Rock And Roll !
Angus, the guitar player is the coolest skinny little white guy ever....! :)
Bon Scott was actually the 2nd lead singer, but most people have heard the original singer, I don't even know what his name is. He was notorious for missing sessions and Bon Scott was originally a Roadie who they got sing during a mussed session and they ended up booting the guy
Love seeing 3generation love ACDC so Cool
Thanks
They're one of the most successful rock bands in world history! At the same time, they're always sooo Australian. Nothing is sacred....
On of the heaviest songs of ACDC epic
That was awesome! Love your reactions.
Thank you!! 😁
Ladies and gentlemen, right from an early teen boys' brain when he's a younger adult. There ya go.
2:09 The look on Donna's face😂😂😂😂
GREATEST LOVE SONG OF AAALLL TIME!!!!!!!! ROCK IN PEACE BON & MAL!!!! THANX BROS!!!!!
lol lulu is too innocent to get some of the jokes in this video
One night stand...Bon Scott got "Hog Qualified"....
El público argentino es único 💪
If you want to have a real blast, you should watch "For Those About to Rock" from this same concert!
