Hells Bells is the perfect song to honor the fallen Bon Scott. It is dark, and catches your attention from the very beginning. It is like AC/DC is warning Satan because a hell raiser in Bon Scott is working his way down the Highway to Hell! I like to think there was a little divine intervention by GOD helping Angus and Malcolm find Brian Johnson lol! I'm 54 now, I was 10 when Back in Black came out, and I have been head banging to it ever since. I have told my kids that I want AC/DC playing at my funeral! My life would not have been nearly as colorful without having AC/DC to listen to!
ME AND MY BROTHER'N'LAWS TOOK MY NEPHEWS TO THEIR FIRST CONCERT BACK IN THE EARLY TO MID 9O'S AT THE OLD😅 MIAMI ARENA ( SPORTS VENUE ) WORST ACOUSTICS FOR MUSIC, AC'DC PLAYED SO LOUD, MY EARS WERE RINGING FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS, BEEN TO MY SHARE OF ROCK CONCERTS (62 YEARS OLD) THIS MIGHT HAVE BEEN THE LOUDEST, UNFRICKINBALIEVABALE, KIDS LOVED IT 🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊
Emma Hells Bells was 1st released song of AC/DC's return after their other lead singer died earlier in 1980. Their iconic, legendary album, Back In Black later in 1980. AC/DC were about to disbanded as band after Scott's death, but his family stated that he would want band to continue on with new singer. AC/DC had auditions for singers. Brian Johnson did his audition. Johnson was playing pool with band's crew downstairs in a pub when they informed Johnson that he is next singer for AC/DC.
I’ve watched this very same reaction… oh Hundreds of times!! I’m a HUGE ACDC FANATIC, so I love watching people react to their Iconic sound, for 1st time.. Oh that’s Angus on lead guitar!! My main, and alltime favorite guitar player! Keep playing them, you will see his signature “Duck Walk”, inspired by “Chuck Berry”!! Love it!!
The first time I heard this song was in 1980 when I was stationed on Okinawa when I was still in the Marine Corps, I remember buying a Walkman and the Back in Black cassette tape, it rocked then and it still rocks today ! ✌🏻🇺🇸
Fantastic reaction!! You felt them! Their badass beat is theirs alone. This song was used as a season finale theme song, in the tv show Supernatural. Fantastic scene.
AC/DC='s High Octane Rock N Roll for sure First music I ever owned . 1980 My uncle gave me my first Music. An 8 track Of Back N Black I played that for YEARS, particularly this one. Loved that it annoyed My mom😂😂😂
This was the first single released from the album. The album and this song, especially, are a tribute for their 2nd singer who had passed away months earlier. Bon Scott took the band from Aussie obscurity to international fame. Their 1st singer, Dave Evans, toured with them in clubs in Australia, but they didn't record any songs with him. The drummer, Phil Rudd, is the only true Australian in the group, Brian Johnson(their 3rd vocalist) is from Northern England and everyone else was born near Glasgow Scotland. They moved down under as kids. This was Brian Johnson's debut with the group.
Love your reaction. Especially when you talk about his high register and sing it yourself ha ha. You sound just like him......but you know...cuter of coarse. That is my favorite AC/DC song. My current favorite rock band is 'The Warning'. 3 sisters from Mexico. Love The Warning. 'Hell You Call A Dream' (live at Pepsi Center) one of my favorites from the..
ACDC is the band who influence most of todays guitarr players in Rock n Roll. Listen to guitarr players talking about ACDC they all say same thing. This is the music to listen to. Still going extremly strong wild world 50 years later.. Increadible band. And a great react Emma, i see u " feel" the music 🙂
There's a reason Back in Black has sold 48,552,194,792 copies My favorite track from it is Shoot to Thrill Wonder how awesome it would have been had Bon lived? 😢 Thanks as always for the reaction
Dear Emma that was another great reaction of you on a great band. Wish you all the best and goods for 2025, and keep going on with all your great reactions and videos. I loved to watch them in the almost past year and i loved to watch them (and you) 😍 in the coming new year 2025, Happy New Year😘
This is the right Song to waking up your Neighbors. But you need a very powerful Stereo System for that. Thank God, i have two, one from the 90s and one from 1970. My Landlord is always pissed when i switch on one of them. Emma, Christmas is over, so i can only say Happy New Year 2025. 🥳🥳🥳
I live in a detached house so unfortunately my neighbors can't hear AC/DC . 😔 So I grab my wireless speakers, go to their place and let them enjoy AC/DC as I do. 😇 How lucky they are!
IMO, The best examples of Brian's vocals with AC/DC are Shoot to Thrill, Have a Drink on Me (both from the Back in Black album) and Snowballed (from For Those About to Rock).
One of the greatest songs of my childhood. 44 years later it's still blowing my mind like at the first day. Thank you Emma ❤ Would love you to react to more River Plate stuff of them. You freaked out to "Thunderstruck" and you'll do to "Whole lotta Rosie" for example. Keep on rockin.
Flying on a free flight Driving all night with my machinery 'Cause I, I got the power, any hour To show the man in me And those reputations, blown to pieces With my artillery I'll be guiding, we'll be riding the lyrics and sound of this album is great. we love Bonn but I think Brian Johnson is underrated to hell. I wouldnt worry about the devily stuff these guys are actually angels
Emma - try their songs live from River Plate. Great audience reactions and a great live performance from the band. And if you want to see why Angus is the best rock guitarist ever, watch the song Let There Be Rock from River Plate. In it, he plays an approximately 17-minute solo.
No one deserves his Rolls Royce VIP buyer status more than Brian. He was in his 30s flat broke living at his parents place when the Young brothers brought him in to replace the legend Bon Scott RIP. I just like the idea of an working class lad who knew Rolls Royce did not make cars for him. Now being one of their most important clients.
Great reaction Emma, but there is a better version of this song, AC/DC live at the River Plate Stadium. The crowd adds an extra dimension to that performance.
so early ac/dc id pick 'Big balls' / Rocker/Ain't No Fun / Ride On/ Let There Be Rock/ Soul Stripper/ Baby, Please Don't Go (this version is even better than Vans) imo. but actually brians era has more songs and maybe even better You Shook Me All Night Long / moneytalks / Who Made Who
I'm glad you played one of my recommendations. I'm glad that you liked it. What I wanted you to hear was an amazing intro. First, the gong, then the lead guitar, then the cymbal on the drum, and finally, the bass drum, and so on. This is the best intro ever. I have one more recommendation for some Heavy Metal. You'll need to get the video for this one. It's on UA-cam. You need to see some of his fans getting tossed about. He's also easy on the eyes for the ladies, not your typical skinny lead singer from the 80's. The band is Danzig and the song name is Mother. Here is the video to add it: Danzig - Mother 93 Live ua-cam.com/video/zO6nRXPzX1A/v-deo.html
You Shook Me All Night Long is my fav by AC/DC. Take Hold of the Flame by Queensryche is my all-time fav. The Number of the Beast by Iron Maiden is in the top 5 for me (Not as many react to this title as I expect).
_Now you see why so many Aussies are so lay back._ After that, everything else is just "so ordinary"... As too Acca Dacca, I would choose *"Highway to hell"* next, kind of follows well from Hells Bells, and then "Thunderstruck" which is a bit of a screamer, but well worth listening too. _You always brighten up my day, thank you for you reactions._
Glad to see u back, hope u start doing movies again! Thís simple straightforward to chorus song always gives me vibes of Roller, by April Wine! And on a personal note, u look prettier for some reason...
Absolutely LOVE your review of this epic band - first time seeing you, but I love watching you groove to the music, that alone made me subscribe to your channel.... If you enjoy this, you need also to check out Queensryche, Dream Theater, Nightwish, and, of course, MOTÖRHEAD!!!!! I have a T-Shirt that says, "My neighbors listen to Motörhead whether they want to or not!" 😂 I won't suggest the cliche Ace of Spades, as great as it is, (you can get back to it) but for starters, go with "Killed by Death" from the Stage Fright dvd, or ANY live version of Iron Fist. OR, if you REALLY want to be TOTALLY blown away, "Bomber", from the dvd "Clean Your Clock", recorded just weeks before Lemmys passing away at age 70. Yes, 69 and still pumping out ferocious metal!! As Lemmy once said, "If you think you are too old to rock and roll, then you are." R.I.P. Lemmy in RnR Heaven ❤
It’s funny; I’ve listened to this song for years, and it just occurred to me that they chose the perfect bell in the intro; it’s perfectly in key with the guitar. Or perhaps they chose the key to fit the bell, either way, it’s pretty genius. Edit: the pitch of the bell does sound slightly flat, but actually it’s not. Bells and cymbals have complex overtones, and it’s the darker overtone in the bell that makes it sound flat, but notice the higher tones are indeed in tune with the guitar.
Many of my neighbors listen to AC/DC at wall-shaking, ear-bleeding volume, day and night... whether they like it or not.
Address please lol
This was AC/DC circa 1980... and 40 years later they were still rocking just as hard.
I don't always listen to AC-DC but when I do, so does my neighbors.
🤮
If you get pulled over for speeding by a cop in Australia, you tell him you were listening to AC/DC and they let you off...
True story🇦🇺
Hells Bells is the perfect song to honor the fallen Bon Scott. It is dark, and catches your attention from the very beginning. Yep, specially this song.

I'm 73 & this, in my opinion, is the best rock band ever, and they are still touring!
Saw them twice in 81 - amazing.
Brian is such an epic beast on this vocal performance ! Love this band so much xx
Back in black GREAT Album ACDC FIRE🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘
Angus is the ultimate showman he never fails to satisfy
I get goosebumps every time the guitar starts playing. Together with the bell it is so iconic.
Me too! The most haunting guitar riff in Rock history
Goosebumps at the first chime of the bell.
Emma

AC/DC are embarking on a new US Tour early next year.
I was about 14 when i fist head ac/dc and now i am in my 50s and they sound better than ever. Big Jack is another high energy track., ✌️🇬🇧
If you want to get this sound try singing it in a whisper till you find how to get the rasp and how to form mouth for higher notes,,then just add air.
AC/DC and Metallica, still one of the best bands till today. I'm addicted to Metal and Rock. And to you and your reactions. RIP Malcolm Young.
I’ve watched this very same reaction… oh Hundreds of times!! I’m a HUGE ACDC FANATIC, so I love watching people react to their Iconic sound, for 1st time.. Oh that’s Angus on lead guitar!! Slowly she is pulled into the best and then 💥 BAM you’re hooked. Cutest smile 😊
I bought this aged 15, when it was released. Great album, great song. Their best album, end of
AC/DC is one of those musical rabbit holes that you could spend a very long time exploring. Have fun!
Listening to Angus and Malcolm playing off of each other is magical .
The first time I heard this song was in 1980 when I was stationed on Okinawa when I was still in the Marine Corps, I remember buying a Walkman and the Back in Black cassette tape, it rocked then and it still rocks today ! ✌🏻🇺🇸
Love to see a young woman rocking out !!!
AC/DC is the greatest rock & roll band, EVER! I have tickets to finally see them this April 18, at The Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.
My favourite AC/DC song is Sin City live in Donington. Saw them live in Hannover, Germany, 2024. They still got the same high amount of energy.
This is off a great album. The guitarist makes my head hurt when I watch him. 😂😂😂. Great reaction
Great song with so much energy! Really enjoyed your reactions to their work!
Fantastic reaction!! You felt them! Their badass beat is theirs alone.
This song was used as a season finale theme song, in the tv show Supernatural. Fantastic scene.
I was in high school with this album. HELLS BELLS...............
AC/DC='s High Octane Rock N Roll for sure
First music I ever owned . 1980 My uncle gave me my first Music. An 8 track Of Back N Black I played that for YEARS, particularly this one. Loved that it annoyed My mom😂😂😂

You were really in the groove today, Emma. Totally into it...feeling it! Good for you.
i remember this when ac/dc van Halen and journey were so popular great song !!!

His voice has held up really well, but in the 80s it was really incredible.

Still going extremly strong wild world 50 years later.. Increadible band. And a great react Emma, i see u " feel" the music 🙂
This song beginning is played at every sporting event for the last 40 years, along with their song Thunderstruck!
hi emma great reaction love this song fun fact that this is dedicated to their former lead singer BANGER.😍😘
the best band in the world
There's a reason Back in Black has sold 48,552,194,792 copies
My favorite track from it is Shoot to Thrill
Wonder how awesome it would have been had Bon lived? 😢
Thanks as always for the reaction

God I love the bells in this song, it goes so well with the riff.
The grooviest lead guitarist on the planet!
They are still the best...my favorite song is Live Wire with Bon Scott as singer....live in Paris..Best Concert erver
This one is a Tribute for the death of their original singer Bon Scott in 1980. The black album "Back in black" is i think in their Top 3 of all time.
that was a huge album after the untimely death of bon scott, really bran was the perfect fit for ac dc
The most rock steady music. Just driving right along in your face🤘❤️ just subscribed. Was waiting till you got to the good stuff. Enjoy🙂
Back to Classic Rock.... you can't go wrong with that. Thanks for reacting, Emma! 🎶🎶
In college I heard it said all you need is AC/DC and a case of beer, and you have a party.
I loke AC/DC have always done but now i also like the natural beauty Emma.😁
This was the first single that they released, at least in the U.S. off of Back in Black. ❤
Beautiful song, included in one, which in my opinion, is one of the most beautiful albums of the legendary AC⚡DC
Emma rocks!
AC/DC has so many good songs it’s hard to pick a favorite.
Emma is absolutely gorgeous its unreal u just gained another subscriber ❤❤
thanks
Wow!!! Thank you!!! 😘😘😘😘😘🎄🎄🎄

wow emma lovvve it thank you
Classic AC DC Legent
And the one great thing about it is there still doing it an Angus is still wearing the school boy outfit that's his signature outfit
there is only one guy who actually can sing the way brian did back in the days.Iván Gac,check him out.
I've commented a number of times as an Aussie single guy I find your buitiful British accent very buitiful
I've seen them 6x in concert and they are by far the loudest band ever. I've seen metallica, judas preist and many others but ACDC is the loudest.
what a fun song. Love it!
AC/DC = the joy of being alive.
Recommendation,,,, 'Kicked in the teeth again' followed by,,, the rest of the 'Power age' album
For any that don't know, the bell tolls 13 times.
You have to listen "you shook me all night long" it's a great one also
One of the greatest songs of my childhood. 44 years later it's still blowing my mind like at the first day. Thank you Emma ❤
Would love you to react to more River Plate stuff of them. You freaked out to "Thunderstruck" and you'll do to "Whole lotta Rosie" for example. Keep on rockin.

My favorite AC/DC song is "TnT". I think they wrote the song about you, Emma.
I enjoy watching ur reactions Emma u should check out highway to hell next soon.
you should react to ACDC "Whole Lotta Rosie" (1977) with their original singer Bon Scott.
man, even in Austria i heard this track on every party 30 years ago ,but never understood the lyrics, because were german haha👍
W.A.S.P. is worth reaction 😺

I just like the idea of an working class lad who knew Rolls Royce did not make cars for him. Now being one of their most important clients.
So epic this song is, takes me back during that era, Emma, check out their song, shoot to thrill. Please
Great reaction Emma, but there is a better version of this song, AC/DC live at the River Plate Stadium. The crowd adds an extra dimension to that performance.
best ever pure rock band

Bon Scott died 45 years ago next February. I'm sure he would be honoured if we toasted his memory with a pint or two!😉🍺
such a great voice!!
You need to check out Iron Maiden. Run To The Hills or 2 Minutes To Midnight would be good starters.
Glad to see u back, hope u start doing movies again! Thís simple straightforward to chorus song always gives me vibes of Roller, by April Wine! And on a personal note, u look prettier for some reason...
This is when Brian Johnson joined AC/DC. Emma!!!❤️😍🥰💘💖
That was Bonn Scott singing.
