When he took a break, he gathered himself. He approached both parties with respect and dignity despite one party not being truthful. He prayed not just for them, but WITH them. He carried himself with such a tact that I am speechless. So impressed, and so grateful. This was the epitome of humility and humbleness.

I think the lady made the best decision on not getting to close to the baby. I think the girl knew what was going on with this family. And knowing how much LOVE that this mother has for her son.

She definitely HOPEFULLY learned a serious lesson in being dishonest ! She should have just said the damn truth instead of worrying about judgment ! She got this poor woman’s hopes up. But if anything good did come of this is that she’s gonna get the grief counseling she needs at no cost to her and I’m sure the judge did something extra. 7:43-8:00.... Judge Mathis asked her specifically if she had been with anyone else? He literally asked her was she 100% certain & she said yes. She LIED. We're all imperfect but all she had to do was be honest. This young lady sought out a grieving mother when they had no idea she & her child even existed. This was so awful. Prayerfully, the mother of the deceased is on the path to healing though she will never be the same.💔🥀😔

This was so tough...I can’t imagine her hurt. She just wanted a little piece of her son just to be crushed to know that no parts of her son is left on this earth. She wanted to watch this child grow and see her son through him. It’s so sad.

That was by far the most emotionally charged case that I have ever viewed.
I have the utmost respect for Judge Mathis but after seeing his display of compassion with these ladies, my respect for him was elevated to another level! Let go and let God! 🙏🏽❤️
