Meanwhile, ol Shay, Shannon Sharpe is balling with Nightcap (Unc and Ocho), Club Shay Shay and First Take. Shannon has also hit the motivational speech market. He been getting money.
The big question is will Undisputed survive? Richard Sherman got in trouble. Also big fish out there is Ryan Clark. He is a free agent and could easily save the show. Skip is EXCELLENT, at playing the heel (the person that everyone hates). But, part of that dynamic is that you have to square off against someone that is loved. EVERYONE loves Unk. Everyone HATES Skip. When they were together, you would root for Unk, root against Skip. Okay, it worked, but Skip forgot his place. He thought that people loved HIM. So, when Unk left, he got two replacements that were NOT lovable. Now you have three heels. That means that NOBODY loves the show, or the hosts, or what they have to say. 3 heels = no watchers.

I think that the rating s have less to do with Shannon not being there and more about the 90% cowboy talk which other fan bases can careless about. Yeah don’t get it twisted they were used as props even the fake love for MJ, because he wouldn’t have been able to connect to the black audience by himself. Noticed he’s a “sports media analyst” yet the only sports he covers is NFL and the NBA? It’s designed like that because majority of the players are black so he needs black co host in order to get the black viewers. MJ is a prop to diss LBJ, they did a week long documentary on the Bulls during the time Skip said he covered them and MJ didn’t mention his name ONCE.
I started watching the show when Shannon was on it. It was actually pretty good. But then (my opinion) Skip’s ego was wounded as Shannon got more popular. And the straw that broke the Camel’s back is when Skip attacked / disrespected Shannon… personally… live on air… literally unprovoked. Since then, he hired 3 extremely emotional alphas to with him simultaneously… recipe for disaster. And Richard Sherman by himself, is it easy guy to talk to as long as you come to him with facts. But when Richard talked about the Super Bowl, he attacked Richard personally, and saying that Mahomes ran and threw all over his 49er defense. There was absolutely no need for that. But when Skip is hurting, he attacks his cohosts. It doesn’t make any sense, and I personally believe the show is done. And I think he knew that as well and that’s why he’s acting out. It’s a shame too because Skip is actually a good guy.
