Yes. It's possible. As someone who’s black and often get to hear black opinions when “others” aren’t around, I’ve noticed some black people simply can’t stand to see a white person, especially in sports, get praised, awarded or honored. I hate it because as a Celtics fan I always loved Perk... he came into the league out of high school with a level of maturity and coachability that was admirable. He improved year on year as he carved out a niche in the NBA. He was one of Tommy Heinsohn's favorite players because of the effort he put out there on the floor, especially on defense.
To see him sink to this level of pettiness really hurts, I never thought of him as a hater. He's definitely less humble than he used to be. I still love ya Perk but you gotta come correct on this... you were wrong. Give Joker his due and keep race out of it PLEASE !!!🙏
