But in the videos of building it , it's clearly stated to be all alluminum block and if u look at the waffle castings in the intake valley ,u will see that it's a teksid block from either the mark 8 lincoln or 1996- 1998 mustang cobra ! A stock gt from 1996 to 2004 would blow its wad after it reached 500 hp ! Maybe not rite away but soon enuff ! Exspecaily without forged internals! And a extremely balanced rotating assembly! His motor would make even more power if it had 4 valve heads but I'm very impressed with the 2 valve and him keeping 2 valves on the map! His block can handle 1000 hp or more !

Man I have a 99 150 I have had since I was 18 she is my first truck and vehicle she has the 4.6 but I was thinking of swapping lightning motor but I didn't know a 2v can make that power I just want 500 hp a nice cruiser ur my favorite channel I'm learning alot thanks for the great videos
A lightning is also a 2v it's just a 5.4 2v it has the same shit rods the stock 4.6 does. All you gotta do is throw In some forged rods and pistons which is like 1200-1300 for the parts alone...once those are in you can make 600-700 easily maybe more...that's with stock block and stock crank etc. I'm talking wheel hp too. The stock rods aren't that great and limit them to maybe 450ish it's not set it stone some have gone higher but forged rods and pistons is all that is needed to add several hundred hp to that "safe" number.

@@undathahoodtech4450 all of the 4.6 blocks can handle pretty big Power it isn't the block that is the problem it's the factory rods and pistons namely the rods once you have forged rods and pistons you can easily make this power level. The teksid is the strongest stock block back then but any if the aluminum or iron 4.6 blocks can handle 600-700+ easily with upgraded rods and pistons. Point being it isnt the block holding them to under 500 rwhp potential it's the rods.

I have a 99 gt- what you have done are goals I have a throttle body Off-road h pipe with custom mufflers Intake Long tube headers Cams (don’t know size but biggest I could put in) 3.73 gear Tuned On pump gas puts about 300 to wheels
i once had a 552 hp 383 stroker I had so much money in and kelp blowing it up. so I got pissed off traded it for a POS 2000 4.6 4x4 240000 miles. some guy came by hurting for money and wanted to sell a 76/72 turbo it looked new so I gave him $50 for it and it set in my shop for a couple years then my cats started giving me hell so I cut them off and a friend said hey put this inline and see what it does. no turn or anything the red turd got pretty mean. and the turbo was behind the stock y pipe. after putting a tune from Amazon it really got mean. they had a dyno set up at the drag strip and got talked into see what it had and turned out to have 572 hp and 530 torque. now at 290000 miles they old engine is getting tired. if I do it right this year I hope to hit 750 hp. but right now I have to build a house first.
Sorry, but not possible. I have a heavily built 4.6, all forged, heads cams and a f1a-94 procharger and making 680. Your saying you made 572 on a hurt motor. With no real work done. Sorry, but your tuner ballooned the numbers. I just feel a need to open people's eyes to this sort of thing. I can't stand when people think they can make serious power without not much effort. 572 to the wheels takes serious money and work on a 4.6. shots not at you, just keeping it 100. That's all it is.
Man those Ford mod motors sound good. I was enjoying all the Chevy's on the Dyno before, but the Ford coming on after was much more musical by comparison.

My brother has a f150 with a 4.6 headers roush intake throttle spacer intake roush cat back exhaust and an edge programmer and runs like shit what can we do to improve performance
@Anthony Mayzwe did we took off the edge programmer and we did a Dyno tune got a ton of high-end torque but no low-end torque that's where we're getting killed at we're planning on doing an xpipe see what happens
Nice numbers! I have to figure out my next build. Everyone is making big power. I had my car dynoed last week. 320 hp & 332 tq with a factory ford 302, 11R 190 heads, Ed Curtis cam, Holley SM2, stock AOD and converter.
My car is an AOD car. A T5 car would have probably put down 350 hp. My baseline numbers were 168 hp and 254 tq. It's still a high mile, 30 year old Ford 302. Search Turdzilla's dyno numbers or Derek Baran's ReDo Blue dyno videos on UA-cam. I think I'm doing well with a naturally aspirated 30 year old 5.0.
I have a video of my car idling here on UA-cam if you go to my channel. (It sounds great. I get compliments from guys everywhere I go). I had to save up to get my 11R heads. None of this stuff is cheap. It only gets more expensive from here.

Not bad for a 2v Run bigger intake piping. Get a lil more volume in there. Boost will drop a couple Lbs too. Waste gates are probably a lil too small for the turbo. But bad ass car.

A lot of those 1000hp cars are saddled in chassis that are heavy ( can you say Hellcat/Demon ) and are driven by unskilled drivers. Its more than just outright power.
