Very informative video! I have a question that’s not really related but my chihuahua is 3 years old and has a small umbilical hernia. She was born with it. I wanted her to have puppies soon but I wanted to know if that’s possible for her or if she would need surgery first? My vet said that it’s possible for her to have puppies like this but I just wanted your opinion 😊 Thank you!!

What Is the dog Is un heat on day 10 and and progesterone test still reading 1.0 on test .

I would say if your reading is a 1 then you'd need to recheck in a few days. My understanding is ovulation usually occurs with a reading in the 4-7 range. Michelle @Revival

Ovulation occurs when progesterone levels are between 4 to 10 ng/ml and can reach levels of 10 to 15 ng/ml by the end of the fertile period. Breedings should be planned four to six days after the initial rise, and two to four days after the ovulation begins. Sheryl at Revival

Can a dog ovulate on a normal day when not in heat and can the machine confirm it??
