Q: We are in Australia and I'm using ng/mol day 11 was a 9 and day 14, today we are at 46 and did a fresh AI but the vets are saying she is already getting too high for levels. We plan to do fresh TCI tomorrow. What would you consider to high for TCI and wouldn't bother. Thankyou kindly. Melissa
Love you videos!! I’ve been getting reverse progesterone testing this week started at 20nmol and dropped to 13 yesterday. But today it’s increased up to 19. Is this normal or should I be worried?

@@LoveMyPups thanks for that. Question I pulled my male to do the Ai and his collection was cloudy with a hint of pink should I worry? I looked at a sample under the microscope and the swimmers looked good and I also saw red blood cells.
@@purefrenchiekennel313you didnt pull him correctly, have someone else pull him so blood doesn’t cause infection or fail breeding
@@catchmany95 respect it happens on the first pull. The next day I didn't get any blood it was normal. My second breeding went the same way. How is his first pull like that doe?
What day do you think ovulation took place? Most therio say you need to see a 3+ point rise 24 hours after a 5 to confirm ovulation….is it 3 point or just 1.5x after a 5?
All results were from 3/29 were taken 24 hours apart on fasting blood using Bionote V200
3/27/24- 1.64 ng/ml
3/29/24- 4.33 ng/ml
3/30/24- 7.17 ng/ml
3/31/24- 9.73 ng/ml
3/1/24- 14.31 ng/ml
Big jump 3/31 that ovulation
Breed two days later. Recheck and make sure numbers are above 20
Hi James, Thanks for all you do on here. I have a unique situation; my GSD is 21 days into her cycle and progesterone test conducted 5 days ago showed levels of 0.244ng/ml. 5 days later and it is 0.68ng/ml. How do you explain this sir? will my 2yr old bitch ever get pregnant? Her heat is still on through and the discharge though watery is still red. Thank you for your kind and urgent response.
Test again when she goes pink or in 5 days which ever is first
@@LoveMyPups thanks for your response. Tested yesterday with Fluorecare immunofluorescense analyzer and it came back with 3.3ng/ml. Dog is currently flagging her tail and interested in males. Please how long do dogs copulate to consider a mating successful?
One tine can do it. I typically breed twice two days apart
@@LoveMyPups I love your videos on progesterone testing. You have talked about basically two machines, idexx and mini vidas. Can you do another on other machines like fluorecare immunofluorescense analyzer and fincare?
I have failed 4 breeding. I did ai early, middle and even later still she didn’t catch. I’m starting to think she cant have puppies..

I would do a surgical insemination. if she doesnt get pregnant then i would say shes infertile
After doing an AI and holding her up for about 45 mins while pinching the area so that the semen doesn't come out, why as soon as I set her down it seems like all the semen came out? Is it okay or did I not go far enough inside?
My breeder put some Vaseline on her after the Ai
Need to keep her up longer.
