That’s definitely tru about a few days early I had a very bad experience all my puppies died i did everything I could to keep them alive I even took them back to the vet the next morning they couldn’t tell me anything just took more money I feel as though the vet just took my money I gave them over 4K I learn the hard way hopefully I’ll have better success this year
Yup that’s the bad outcome that too many people have. Taking pups early is never good
What is a safe number to pull pups on the finecare progesterone machine?
Like very much what you do for us through these videos. I learned a lot. I would like to know something. When you take plasma, before putting the plasma in the progesteron test machine, do you mix it with another liquid ( substance ) or not? Is it only the plasma you use?

At the end of the video it is stated to wait until the dog starts the first stage of labor to have a c-section, which is when a sharp decline in P4 is noted. So what is the value in testing daily levels to schedule a c-section?
Is that the Quickscan 1000? How accurate on reverse progesterone? Site says ovulation only. I went crazy after losing two litters and bought it all. Tester, incubator, oxygen machine and ultrasound laptop machine.

I love my progesterone machine it save me lots of time and money. I used to have too make a 2 hour trip to my vet one way, just to find out what their numbers 5 or 6 time. Now I draw there blood at home and in 15 minutes I have my result. ❤❤❤❤

We have a Rottweiler day 63 from ovulation, reverse was 8. Back today for another in about an hour. Is it safe to wait it out for the drop? I’ve heard placentas deteriorate after day 63, not sure if that’s true.
Do we have to put the chip everytime we run a test or one time chip reading is for the 10 test ?

My Mistake! Sorry post was fine. To clarify. Its been 65 days since Ovulation started and 63 days since first A.I. Expected to have c-section today but sent home because dog not showing signs apart from more fussy with food last two days. No temp drop, not lactating and had a reverse progesterone test showing 21.66 today. Do you have any advice about how long to leave it and how to induce lactation? Thanks in advance :)

@@LoveMyPups Thanks for the reply. Yes she started going into Labour before I seen this. She was 27nmol/L on Friday which was day 65 since Ovulation and 63 since first AI, she was booked in for elective c-section. Luckily I seen your video and suggested they do bloods first as she wasn't showing any signs and hadn't even dropped any milk. The Vet insisted it would be at least Monday before she started going in Labour. I felt differently. Anyway turns out her temp dropped on Saturday and showing all the signs so I insisted on another blood test that day and rushed her down. The bloods came back just at the sweet spot. So I guess just like many of your videos suggest, you have to take the lead on these things and trust you know your dogs.
Anyway, congratulations on Kikis litter! She's fantastic, great form and perfect tan points. I also have a Lilac Tan cream carrier, she has superb tan points and very light for a lilac, but I'm aiming for a shorter body like kiki, lovely! I'm sure your new pups will reflect that. My girl was at 7 and I was told 24 to 48 hours -she had them about 4 hours later in the middle of the night-lost a few 😢
So my girl was at a 5 and the vet suggested that we go ahead and do the c section because she would've went into labor that night. They were hitting the pups on the back and after they came to, they were put in a incubator until mom got better. So we left for an hour and came back and got them. Should I be worried?

My dog is at 61 days from first a.i. I just took her to the vet. Her temperature was 98 when I check before taking her and when they check was at 99. They also did a progesterone and her levels came at 7.1. How long u think she should be ready?
This post was yesterday. I jus took her back for another progesterone test today and she's at 1 so They doing her c section today. Hopefully for a good litter. Thanks for your video. It was helpful

So is this why most dr give mom ( humans) a steroid shot to mature the lungs for baby. Is this safe to give to dogs too, so that none die, if there was a “ too early c- section? “

What is the c-section? Everybody talk about c-section. I don't know what that means. Please help me.
A c-section is the taking of the pups by surgical procedure through abdomen. If you do not know what this is please do not breed. You could lose a mama and pups by not knowing this or when to get it done. Have a great day.

I don’t have Brindle in my lines because it messes up other colors like tan points but there’s nothing wrong with it just don’t sell as well
