Two things you need to watch out for in an Older home If they house was built before 1979 -- there is a strong possibility there is lead paint and it will need remediation and if the house was built before 1940, there is a strong possibility the house has Knob-and-Tube wiring and will need to be rewired -- may also have fuse box instead of breakers. Some people think K&T wiring is okay -- but it does have significant drawbacks, such as no grounding conductor (ie not ground fault interrupters) , not able to carry modern loads, the wires sag over time, and adding insulation around K&T creates a fire hazard .. Worse is that many home owners insurance companies will not insure homes with K&T and the ones that do will charge extra.
How could I get me a house free for me and my kids and grandchildren and 60 years old I’m on SSI and hopefully you can help a poor person for once in my life. I’ve always wanted to get a house for me and my kids and I still can’t, so can you please help me
Got up on the right foot this morning by finding ur video , u r my cup of tea , I have a comfortable life thanks to fixer uppers ,! U have a new subscriber ❤😊
@@608Ralphywell, if you've never experienced a haunting, your skepticism is to be expected. You'd be surprised how many homes sell so low just because they are deemed haunted. Some because of a death, others because it may need to be a complete tare down
Who says ghosts are bad or evil? WHO knows, you might get new friends with the house deal! Then, no home alarm necessary as the ghosts would protect their/your home! 😊
Remodelling these different types of houses would make a great television series. Have you shown this video to any tv companies? The diversity of locations and differrent sizes of the properties would add interest. Modernise one, restore another. I'd love to watch such a series. Put this on a dizen discs and send them out to the networks.
Am I wrong in assuming everything you see on lists like this have already been passed on by teams of investors and realtors? I've always thought any time a home is priced below the value of the land it sits on there are more issues than most are prepared to deal with, the total cost of fixing it up or bulldozing and rebuilding is likely to exceed just buying another home in the same neighborhood.
Hello Kyle!! Could I get information on the property real estate of New Jersey and the one in Morsela Spain, Please, very interested !! Greetings from Sunny AZ!!
Thank you for the update! When you give the coverage, you don't state the nationalities of individuals who could live in those areas. There are some areas that don't allow black or vrt to relocate to.
It just blows my mind! how cheap all those properties are in other parts of the world, even in America and Canada. When compared to the property prices here in Australia they are absolutely dirt cheap! Here in Australia, you can't by anything anywhere for only $50,000 USD! ($72,000 AUD) Yes, the prices in the video are from maybe 5 years or so ago now. But even if the prices in the video, have doubled now in the years 2024, they are still going for prices ,that us Aussies can only dream of!!! Even in the cheapest areas of Australia, (2024) a typical 3-bedroom house (and one that's probably in absolute shite condition) is still going to cost around $350,000 to $400,000 Australian dollars (about $242,00o to $276,00 USD!)
Would be nice to give an opportunity for the people that have no jobs . They can buy it and find a job near by . Does how I think can help the economy and the people that need a home to live .
hi Kyle good to see you nice video I wish someone would fix them up because they don't make homes like that anymore hope you are safe out there 🙏🙏🙏 ❤️ you guys thanks for sharing
Sick homes make you sick for sure. I've remodeled a number of these properties. Not recommending the process to the unknowledgeable. Buying yourself a big headache.
Has anyone noticed all of them have foundation problems in order for the city or the state to sign off on a foundation it's got to be done by a professional that means you'll be paying quite a bit of money for the permit as well as the professional to do it unless you know what you're doing and how to do it your self, NO UA-cam vid is going to make you a pro, you wl need the equipment to do it, 😮😢
Back Taxes? You won't be able to do much with many of these houses - chances are the local hysterical society will prevent you from doing anything and watching to make sure you use the same type of wood, etc for just about anything you do.
Why should we subscribe? You have not answered a single question here. Tell me again why we should help you out when you do nothing for us? Im laighing my @ss off at this. People are asking how to buy these and there is no response. Why did you make this video to let it sll fall by the way side?

don't forget the possibility of asbestos ceilings, walls or insulation

yes lead paint is one thing. If there is a ghost, then how??????
@@richardliu7499 And arsenic in wallpaper
my favorite conspiracy theory is the government wanted the lead paint gone so they could spy in your house. lead made that hard to do.
The New York one is my top fav. Keep Orange Crushing It Kyle!

Hi Kyle, if you're interested, how do you get more info on the properties and whom to contact?
Very practical and nice site about saving properties...giving second chance, like it🎉❤❤❤

None if you don't believe in bs.
@tufankilinc636 😂you beat me to it. Exactly what I was gonna ask.

The ones from America will take more to renovate than to buy a new property. Please mention renovation cost as well.
I came to post same thing. Many people don't realize the REAL costs of these things
Hi, Kyle great content, my question for you is, how or what do I need to do to buy one of those houses ??? Thank you
Most likely, cash.
Beautiful homes thanks for listing
Kyle, I subscribed to your channel. This video is very interesting. Thank you!

maybe the taxes are unbearable
Love this info!!
This in U.S. You can buy similar in Portugal for 10,000 Euros. Made of stone not wood, so much cheaper.
Thanks, love your vlogs!
Who do I contact if I am interested in these homes?
Contact a real estate agent and give that person the video.
Yea me too .
Ghost real owner of the house 😂
How do you detach a house? Why would you only detach half of it? What was it fully attached to before it was semi-detached?
Doubt the pink duplex in Grenville is/was really going for 46K - with base prices in 300K region --this thing might need more than "a lick of paint "
Those houses are awesome
Is that Michigan property still available?
I love look this videos… Is just Inspiration..🥰🥰🥰
Loved this Video!
Can't imagine the renovation costs of the repairs to bring it up to code. "these are easily salvageable" to what costs and location?
Where did you find the listing for the house in Ontario really interested in the property
Different looking places there and great deals

I live in Australia. But we never hear about abandoned homes or cheap fixer upper type homes. Do you ever look into Australia.

These homes are worth saving
Could not find a link.
I wonder how many ghosts are present at these homes😀😂
Anything in San Diego ?

Contact a local agent and have a pile of cash. No one will lend on these places.

How many are haunted and do they all owe back taxes, if so how much, and were there crimes committed in these homes. Most do need serious renovation.

Where is the colonial home in New York we would like to buy it and fix it back to the way it was..
He stated that it was in Boonville. Snow country and very rural. Not close to any larger cities. I grew up in Central NY
Many houses area is extremely dangerous
No way 2:52
kyle knows europe on his hand s both. Now the question is for whom is kylie setting bait....up to u to find that out. Good ole kyle...
It doesn't help to not show the unfinished or broke down parts of the house.
Why are they abandoned? Taxes? Water?
careful with some of these.. tons of restorations and old paint and toxic materials.. cheap to buy but how much would it cost to restore..

Before considering a house like this, watch " The money pit".
The link to your website leads to a nice, blue page with zero content. I blame Microsoft!
Show the Crack house next door to your first blue one

Why do all of these houses exist in the East Coast?
Who wants to live there?
Most homes in the USA are east of the Mississippi. Maybe try taking a basic geography class before posting nonsense 😂
@@tnickknight It was a simple question.
