Tiny homes were never supposed to be expensive. They were supposed to be an affordable alternative solution to the housing crisis. 100K for one of these is crazy 🤯
@@CityHustleHD That’s why they was made for seniors that don’t need any bills or way cheaper an smaller to take care of. Everyone has to get every penny they can steal from everyone! 😡
Right!! You could buy a house on its own lot or land for that price. So you spend all that money then you have to find somewhere to put it on which is going to cost thousands of dollars. You might as well get a trailer in a trailer park. Save a hell of a lot of money
My husband and I bought our first home just over 30 years ago. It was $107,000. It was a beautiful 2 story 2600 sq ft. Now a tiny home on no land is more expensive.
I wouldn’t pay no more than 50k for these things! But what I love about this video, is that they’re at least telling you the price of these modular homes. All the other modular home videos they don’t tell you the price. Which saves us a trip and being disappointed when you get there! Keep it up guys! However, there are other tiny houses that are in the $50,000 range
This would be a nice paring to a bunker. You install the bunker under the home like a basement and then place the home over the top as needed with a hidden entry point inside the home. It would be a easy choice for people on a budget or get away home.
I've heard that adding a bunker to a house changes into a bunker with a house attached. If true, then what you are saying is a good consideration for new home build design. And I also wonder how a bunker disrupts properties that would otherwise be considered as investment properties. AND also, Ron said something about property taxes. Are bunkers taxed?
34, 22, the little one with 2 lofts/ladies room all stole my heart! Problem is pricing.. this is insanely overpriced... the point of a tiny home is lost when prices are that high or the model is so big like a whole trailer. Here in Ohio I gave 8K for mine, it was a custom built lofted "Playroom Deluxe" Repo and it was 666 sq ft (we added a little on just to change that footage cause it creeped me out lol).but if financed mine would be $330x 48 months $18k total. That's still WAY higher than it used to be in my area. Every time something becomes a "thing" there is always someone there ready to make that big profit. LOVE this channel! Thank you!
It’s #34 for me. I love the wooden look. We live in a log home now so it’s a cozy feeling. If I had to live alone again this would be something I’d do for sure.
Happy to see you getting out and doing walk arounds again for us. It’s funny was watching some of your older ones yesterday thinking where the hell is Ron rn. Got to be supper busy for you right now.

I don’t think the price is bad at all especially if you catch them on sale. Of course there will be those saying 👨🏻🦳 “I bought my 2 story home for $13 dollars in 1971!” in the comments of all these type of videos 🤦♂️
Beautiful! I wish my family could afford some sort of tiny home. We have had to live with my parents due to financial hardships with our 4 year old and 3 year old. I’m a stay at home mom (former nurse) due to unforeseen health issues. Maybe one day in the near future ❤
I dont know if this is a Canadian thing, but I couldn’t do without a closet right in the entrance. To hang your coat and put away your snowy boots and hat and mits and scarf before going any further 😂
I never see homes were you walk straight into the living room from outside except in US. And almost never á closet for your shoes and jackets clothes near the outdoor. In many countries it's bad manners to walk through peoples homes in your outdoor shoes
options like these can make retirement more comfortable, Its been three years since I retired, and while inflation has made it challenging to maintain my lifestyle and even worse when I lived in the city, relocating to the countryside has helped to manage better, its lonely, as most of my friends and family are still in their routines but It's been easier to stretch my savings and hopefully, I won't outlive it
I’m nearing retirement myself, and I had similar concerns. I started investing much later than most, and just relying on ETF compounding wasn’t cutting it for me. After working with a financial advisor, I managed to restructure my investments and am now on track to retire with around $4 million. If I hadn’t sought advice, I doubt I’d be as confident in my plan right now
I usually steer clear of recommending specific people because financial needs are so personal. But I can say that working with Emily Ava Milligan has made a world of difference for me. I noticed her strategies are tailored to fit personal goals and make sense for different needs. It might be worth exploring to see if her approach resonates with you
Wow beautiful homes specialty and definitely adorable for anyone budget in those crazy days when price houses are all the way to the sky , or a great option for a good piece of land out side city for vacation or relaxing retirement
So would adding a connected bunker be considered additional square footage? If not, add one of your Mega-Bunkers... 🤔 If so, access the bunker hidden under the porch.. Ron, your thoughts?
I like your videos better than when RRC does them, because we get to see models back to back and without anyone standing in front of the camera. At 8:46, which was home #36 was actually a Clayton model and not a Platinum...for anyone who may be interested in that home and try to find it. The pretty ceiling fan and cabinet color is a dead give a away that it is a Clayton. Thanks Mr. Bunker man for taking us back to RRC again.
I don’t want a “tiny home”, but some of these are very tempting! If I could get some of the larger designs done as a monolithic dome, with a big boy platinum Atlas shelter underneath, that would be the ticket!💪🏽😍
I loved #2 perfect size for me since im single and an empty nester and about to retire soon. I'll be thinking about getting this one in near future for sure

I like 13,31 and 9's not bad, 36 was nice too. 13 is for me but with more storage and a walk in shower with the half wall and glass. Love the colours they did it in. I love I'm Canada so it would be one $100.000. But l would be happy there. Wish you would show or say how big the lofts are in these homes.
There are aspects of each one that I like, but none that are my dream tiny house. I'd probably mix and match options from the different models. If I had to pick one as is, I'd probably go with #37. Wish they had options with smaller kitchens, I'm not much of a cook so I don't need a big kitchen with lots of counter space and storage!
I like #27 because there’s more room in the living room and kitchen, which is where you spend most of your time. There’s one earlier also that I liked that was similar, but I didn’t catch the number. It had a lot of space also and I think it had an island in it. I like #35 because of the extra little room that I could use for a sewing/craft room and also as an office. I love love the wood in #34 and the drawers built into the stairs.

and to be realistic, lots of tiny smaller homes look more modern. The small with grey was cute. I like the colors and outside and indoor decorating. The homes themselves are just not the price level theyre asking. If you have access to over 100, 000 build
Well, I guess I could get used to my living room being an extension of the kitchen. Like the little upstairs, not sure if a retired person would dig crawling around up there. I would probably need an add-on shed/utility place for storage for all of my stuff, or the inside of the house would look like a junkyard.
I like the last one for the walk in closet with the w/d in it but are there any that you can stand and walk in the loft. From the video it looks like you have to crawl while you are up there.

The tiny house movement became so big it priced the people genuinely interested and in need of it out of it.
100% facts it was supposed to be a movement towards an affordable way to live and $100k plus isn’t that
That's if you buy a ready-made tiny house. You can always design and build your own like people originally did. That would still save you money.
You need to do some of the work yourself to make them affordable. These are too expensive.
Thats how this shit works
Less cry more work
Now this is the way to tour tiny homes! These are awesome, but the prices need to be cut in half.
