Focus on your feet and especially your lead foot is another good tip to get the balance point and improve on not going in with too much momentum, When you can feel where your (pointed) feet are, you are usually getting into full control.
Nice tutirial and great drills. One comment is where you say use the wall. Your alignment when you kick up would have you in a huge bend in order to reach the wall and you dont mention this. You are in a very slight bend like that peacock feather. If you will recommend to use the wall it might be better to show you using it?

Your drills were quite different. Will try this. I have a real banana back issue but dont think its shoulder flexibility or strength
