I cried with TRACEY!! What a relief, i'm happy for you guys. Next time we climb the everest, RIGHT? By WE, I mean you do the physical and i climb virtually! Love you guys so much!!
Congratulations guys! While watching this I virtually cried with Tracy at the the summit cos that was exactly how I felt in 2017 at the summit. That last day is indeed no joke, many don’t make it. Good video too. Thumbs up from Watamu
I have watched so many Kili videos and yours blow most of them out of the water (I knew they would). You guys are great! I'm so proud of you and can't wait until I eventually get to climb Kili myself.
Hey thank you so much Josh! We pit a ton of effort in those videos. It was quite a challenging environment to film in to say the least haha. Much appreciated. 👍🏼
Congratulations for scaling Kili! That was a great feat! The sheer fact that you also could get such quality and consistent footage is amazing. You've made the extraordinary look "ordinary" yet I can only imagine the effort, money, emotions and determination invested into all this! You and Tracey pulled it off well as a compact team together with your two other friends.👌 I now can bet scaling Mt. Kenya is like a Sunday picnic to you! 😂
Pongezi Dave. I climbed Kili in 2016 at age 60. Someone should have told me, "Never climb a mountain called "Kil-a-man" but we made it. We've lived and served here as volunteers in rural western Kenya now since 2015 at Tenwek Hospital.
A once in a lifetime experience; one week before you we were up there as well; it is just breathtaking, isn`t it? In all means! Well done and thanks for the great footage!
An absolute amazing adventure! The views are unbelievable! Very scary to see the lack of snow. We were in Amboseli in July, and the only water for the elephants and wildlife was from Kili. It was sooo dry. Animals zebras and tg’s dying from lack of grazing grass, and water. Loved the experience, but if rain levels don’t return to normal, I’m worried for the future. 😪😪
Excellent video! I feel like I was there with you guys! We plan on climbing next year and can only pray we all make it safely 🙏 Which time of year did you go?

Was I supposed to cry with Tracey when you made to the top? By far, best video I’ve watched. I’m so happy for you guys!!! And shout out to all the poters!!!
This youtube trip was such a therapeutic one to me.I have 2 questions though. How much is the mount impacted by climate change. Do you have any idea? And are there wild animals? I am just curious.
Congratulations! I was there at the Uhuru Peak 15.02.1989. The whole route from Gilmans Point ahead was a snow path and the peak was covered with ice. Now, when you watch these clips from there, you can easily see the climate change. It is so sad. But still: it is a great challenge to do it!
6:50 "Karanga" means fry, or to fry something, in Kenayan kiswahili or is it kaanga that is fry, I'm confused😂, in Tanzania maybe its different, "Peanuts is Njugu" so "Njugu Karanga" is "fried peanuts" My Kenyan & Tanzanian Fam help me out maybe I'm misleading others😂😂
Well done Guys!! You did it!, you made it to the Top of Africa! 👏the cinematography in your Vlogs is always Top Tier👌those Arrival Shots at the Top were everything🔥
This was one of my favourite videos, can’t tell you how exciting it was to see this and what an accomplishment it was for you both. I left my heart in Africa a few years ago and can’t get enough of it in your videos ❤
Congratulations on getting to the top!! Karanga in swahili means 'fry'. Peanuts are "jungu". Now, the most common way of cooking peanuts is frying them. Accordingly, fried peanuts are called 'jungu karanga'. Therefore, I can see some connection between peanuts and karanga, but as you rightly pointed out, it has no connection to the place.
I wanted to see glaciers, good job to everyone, I've been following you all through. Big respect for the tour guides and the guys carrying heavy luggages, I guess they were the source of motivation/energy to those who were about to give up on the steeps
The fact that everyone but DAVE is affected by the altitude and hypoxia still has me amaized.....Dude come prep'd for sure....Congrats on the climb💯and most definitely congratulations on 100k...We growing stronger....
Like to know the post climb experience. Like how the body feels like? Also at the onset I honestly felt like, Naah, that's too many guides but after watching the full video and especially the last 2 days and how tasking it got, Weh! THAT IS NO JOKE!
Congratulations guys. Wow from the response to the comments it really was a challenge and at the same time incredible. In this lifetime I want to do such a thing. I love your vids of course and for this mostly other than being a unique adventure, it is the realness for me. You say it as it is. How do you charge Batts Dave? Anyway, great experience. High altitudes ain't no joke. But being Canadian I bet it works for you.
Wow congratulations guys well done. I have wanted to do this since my son did it in 2012 sorry I didnt do it with him. I have had a triple by pass end of last year and my goal is to get my fitness up and to climb kili in 2024. Your inspiration is outstanding thank you so much.
Peanuts Are called ‘njugu’ then Karanga means ‘roasting’. Combined its called Njugu Karanga. Anyway, congratulations guys. These hikes are no joke! I can feel Tracy’s freezing from way up here!😂
Nicely done guys❤❤....mt.Kenya is gonna seem like climbing into the LandRover compared to Kili🤣🤣 and to show how crazy Everest is, the summit of Kilimanjaro is10,000 ft or 3000m below Everest's.
This is documentary standard action. I love how you have embraced my continent . Many have come before you and have taken and not given anything. You guys give as much as you take.

It would be fun yeah but most of the time we work with companies to make these videos so it can be a bit tricky to bring extra people. But it's definitely not off of the table.

You're right. Some researcher say that in just a couple of year all the snow from Kilimanjaro will be gone. Its a disaster...
I don’t know why but I’d love to climb kili. Don’t know why, as it looks so hard, but what an achievement. Do you recommend?
100% recommend!!!
Hello, am jairos your warm Welcome ,Tanzania is a stunning destination with incredible wildlife, beautiful landscapes, and rich cultural heritage.

Wow thanks a lot for saying that Georgina! :D
This youtube trip was such a therapeutic one to me.I have 2 questions though. How much is the mount impacted by climate change. Do you have any idea? And are there wild animals? I am just curious.
Sadly the impact is very visible due to the lack of snow...
Id reccomend the himalayas at some point. Maybe a tiger reserve, than a himalayan hike trip, series of videos would be crazy good
That would really be amazing!
