Do you always use the same colour thread in the bobbin and top when using different colours in the quilt. It doesn't matter much on a wall quilt but what about a bed quilt? Love your flower pattern.
No. If your tension is right then the threads should come together in the middle of the sandwich of your quilt. If your tension isn’t right then you’ll see dots of different color pulling through. So if you aren’t confident with tension yes use the same color. Often I use a neutral like a gray on the bottom so I don’t have to change when I’m using different threads on one quilt. On my customer quilts I usually use the same color.
