I appreciate you using a domestic machine to teach these designs. I have learned a lot from your tutorials over the last few years. Thank you so much for sharing your time and skills!
Even after 20 years of quilting, I still turn to you to give me fresh ideas for machine quilting. Every time, I find you offer something perfect for my current project. You are so fun to watch. I recently did , what I call Chrysanthemum on a Tilda flower quilt. Perfect. Can't wait to try all these these designs again.
Angela, can I just say….you are awesome!! You’re a fantastic quilter and I just love your fun method of delivery…. You are a treasure in the quilting world!
I know you hear this a lot but I have to tell you again, your teaching has literally taught me how to free motion and so appreciate your talent and willingness to share that in a way everyone can learn from. What a blessing you are 🙏🏻. I create and donate to those who are in need. Thank you for caring❤️ Celia Reyes
Thank you for being my "go to" person! You had mentioned Melanie Hamm in one of your videos and she is the one that "taught" me the basics of quilting about 3 years ago (I'm was in my mid 50s) and I miss her dearly and I'm so glad I found you (you even have my Maiden name)! I've wanted to get more in tune with free motion besides meandering and you've given me the courage to give it a go! Your positivity is so inspiring ❤❤ I've used swirls on my latest quilt and I'm quite impressed - using my Brother 1500. Looking forward to trying the "feathering" technique next. Thanks for all you do!!!🪡🧵
Hello! I hope you had an joyful day! I had a very busy but fun filled day in my sewing room ironing more fabrics and now I get to hand quilt. Thank you for posting your video.
That last one reminds me of a peacock feather. Thank you for doing these! I’m fairly new at quilting and still trying to learn free motion on my machine. These are so helpful!
22 seconds in the video you have a pic up with swirl filler designs. I love the video but you didn’t go over the middle design shown. I think that design is really neat and would like to see how it is done. Could you put in your next video coming up? Thanks, please keep up with the videos, you explain things very well. Because of your passion and attitude I have tried them all! Shan
Love the videos. I'm really interested in the swirl design in the center circle on the "cover" screen (00:21) it's beautiful, but doesn't seem to be covered anywhere in the video - I've watched it twice looking for it! Where do you cover that?!
Angela Walters is it possible to do a video on how to change the settings on the handle bars on a longarm. i bought the moxie back in march and still am a bit unsure of how it works and i certainly don't want to break it.
I am making my first quilt, a baby quilt. It's whale themed and these swirls look like waves. It would be so cute, but I'd need lots of practice first. I don't think I have enough time.
We had such a great time at the Quilt Walk! Meeting Tula was a real highlight (I had met you before, but I loved getting another photo with you!) Your shop is so fun, and I bought way too much! lol!
I have a question about background fillers that seem to create a direction to them. Maybe it’s like a leafy meander where they are all pointing up as I quilt around something in a panel (i.e.)and don’t want to have them coming down on the opposite side. I could see that happening with the petal swirl.
Now that I have a few days free motion quilting underway belt I understand why you drink the wine-- to kill the upper back pain! Please tell me what I can do to prevent the neck snd back pain??
There is a little downward arrow below the UA-cam video and that will give you an HTTPS link. I had to open with Google vs. safari on my Apple this time for some reason, but it did open. I haven’t looked back for week one yet , but Angela does pebble designs in the Flora challenge too. I was able to download that one.
You know that if you quilt one swirl starting clockwise and a second swirl on the back of the first going counterclockwise, you get a cute little rams horn? Don’t mind me; I see bunnies in the clouds…
Anybody else out there in quilting world get elbow tendinitis? I just finished a quilt with lots of filler and can’t quilt another for a while. Have to heal up!
I appreciate you using a domestic machine to teach these designs. I have learned a lot from your tutorials over the last few years. Thank you so much for sharing your time and skills!
Could not have said it better. Everything I do in quilting, I learned from Angela. Eight quilts done in four years and still going!

You are an excellent teacher, Angela. I marvel at how you will answer something that I have just wondered about in my mind! Thank you!

Great video. I've seen these quilting designs but never knew how to make them work. Traveling and echoing. Can't wait to try this.
Sure glad these are on here for eternity!!
I'm just starting this challenge a year later 😂
Great explanation on how to do swirls, I can’t wait to give it a “ swirl”.😘

I used the elongated swirl as an allover design with 1" spacing. Looks amazing and was surprisingly fast!
How did you measure the one inch spacing? I found my ruler foot to creat too close of a space at 1/4. Would like more close to 1/2 or larger.

Thank you so much for all your techniques and for showing us how to do the swirls in the loops and the pebbles and all you are so talented❣️✂️🧵🪡💕💖🥰

That Sherbert color is the bomb, my favorite.
Thank You for your knowledge and sharing it with us all. I truly loves quilting and sharing what I knows as well. Stay Blessed ❤
So beautiful all tour designers! Thank you...🙏⭐☺️🌹
Just started to watch your videos again and am over moon and enjoy trying them all, thank you for sharing. Catch you next time
so excited to start this challange, yes I am late to the game but just my first real longarm!!
How cool are you! You took doodling and made a career!
I noticed you're using a ruler foot, Do you need to use the ruler foot on a regular sewing machine?
Thank you so much! This is perfect timing as I’m sitting down to quilt this morning.
Hi. Thanks for this tutorial. I really struggle with quilting..I think I have the idea now..x
Love the combo swirl and bubbles!
I can’t wait to practice on my Amara! I love these videos. They really help me improve fmq.
Love these. ❤️ thanks for EVERYTHING!!
Great video! ARE WE ABLE TO DO THESE DESIGNS ON A NORMAL SEWING MACHINE, IF SO, DO I NEED A SPECIAL FOOT?
thank you for the download, I seem to be very spatially challenged so will practice the shapes and try not to be so judgmental of my efforts

Thank you - lots to play with this week.
Swirls are so relaxing on a sit down machine
I love watching your videos ….. oh yeah, love your gloves, where could I purchase them ?
I am making my first quilt, a baby quilt. It's whale themed and these swirls look like waves. It would be so cute, but I'd need lots of practice first. I don't think I have enough time.
Can you demonstrate a wood grain design on a longarm?
What brand of long arm do you have and how did you learn to use it? Love your video

I am learning to do free motion quilt i really like it
😀Thank you for a great set of swirls.
You are amazing!
Love these, you're terrific. Love swirls.

Do you find it harder to do these on home machines that do not have high stitches per minute?
I have a Singer sewing machine. Is there a special foot for quelling.Pls let me know.
. Love it Angela! Thank you!
Long arm ... horizontal and vertical--> EtchaSketch!
Thank you, I learned a lot.
I cannot find the expanded pages for week 2. I also could not find the corrected page for the expanded resource pack for week one.

My download link takes me to a screen to pay for You Tube….?
These look really cool 😎
Just tried to open the link and it popped up as warning for malware.
Link to handout not working

The link worked for me! Keep trying
Beginners guide please
Thank you.

Found it on the downward arrow next to the name of the video. SMH
Love the video but handout link not working.
I had to use Google to open. Try a different browser and see if that helps. I usually use safari, but it wasn’t working this time.
