The Miracle Of 432Hz,
Most music worldwide has been tuned to A=440 Hz since the International Standards Organization (ISO) promoted it in 1953. However, studies regarding the vibratory nature of the universe indicate that this pitch is disharmonious with the natural resonance of nature and may generate negative effects on human behaviour and consciousness. Certain theories even suggest that the nazi regime has been in favor of adopting this pitch as standard after conducting scientific researches to determine which range of frequencies best induce fear and aggression. Whether or not the conspiracy is factual, interesting studies and observations have pointed towards the benefits of tuning music to A=432 Hz instead.
432 Hz is said to be mathematically consistent with the patterns of the universe. Studies reveal that 432hz tuning vibrates with the universe's golden mean PHI and unifies the properties of light, time, space, matter, gravity and magnetism with biology, the DNA code and consciousness. When our atoms and DNA start to resonate in harmony with the spiraling pattern of nature, our sense of connection to nature is magnified.

When David played the second solo, i think that's the moment an electric guitar reaches its maximum capacity. Its undoubtedly the best electric guitar solo in the history of humanity.
You are correct. The double string bends towards the end of the solo are simply sublime and I've never heard anything like it since. It's other-worldly.
Idk man the Free Bird solo is up there lmao
This is my neighbours favourite song, whether he likes it or not.
Ahahaha
Lol brilliant 💯👏💯
Amazing comment
Hahhaha
This is such an old comment
That horrible moment when this song ends and your PC goes quiet and you realise you have now returned to reality
The end wasn't a horrible, but deeply satisfying moment. A good piece of music is going towards the end when it's at its climax. Delaying it is watering it down.
@@krischan67 Did you miss the point I was making? I never wanted the song to end because the real world is not as deeply satisfying as Comfortably numb played live...
@@TheComputec I know what you meant. I didn't want the song to end as well, but there's an end to everything. The question is what's the best moment for the end.
That literally just happened to me! Song stopped and I finally heard the sound of kids shouting and fighting each other 😢
@@krischan67 Probaly blasphemy to have a dig at the way DG ended this, but the random run at the very very end doesn't really add anything for me. I would have preferred a long screaming note that just got more and more distorted and reverb heavy (a-la-gary moore) and then a really sharp stop... just my opinion.
I was at this concert with my wife. Sadly she is no longer with us. These are just some of the memories I will never forget. ❤
And may her memories always be a blessing.
May she rest in peace, she lives on through our memories, gone but never forgotten ✝️🕊️

Facts. This is the greatest guitar solo ever.
Imagine you are there not knowing you are about to listen the best solo ever played in history
As David Gilmor's wife said about him, David struggles to express himself emotionally with words, but stick a guitar in his hands and he makes you feel everything.
Son-"Dad why is my sister's name Rose".
Father-"because your mom loves Roses".

@@randallmartin2549 , the original version of this old joke is much better. And it goes; A young Indian Brave asked his father one day, "why is my sister named Running Deer?" His father replied "because on the day she was conceived, the first thing I saw after your mother and I made love, was a running deer."
"O.K., thanks father", said the son. To which his father replied "your welcome Broken Rubber."

The greatest guitar solo in the history of rock music. Period.
Yep. And not particularly close
I come back to this probably once a month. It takes me to another plane of existence. This solo is the best 5 minutes of music ever made.
For sure the best
That legitimately might be the truth
Absolutely agreed. Hands down the best piece of music of all time.
i bought the Pulse Album, far better audio quality on the bought version!
That is unquestionably the greatest guitar solo in the history of guitar solos.
You might change your mind if you listen to (the studio version of) the title track from Camel's "Stationary Traveller". Gave me goosebumps when I first heard it 35 years ago and still does. Every time.
Subjective, but I agree.
Same way ive felt for years ever since i 1st heard it in 1995. He makes that Guitar cry for forgiveness from God himself
STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN
Definitely, I've to agree.... Spatially after I saw this performance. I've never seen any guitarist perform like this live

David Gilmour is the greatest guitarist that’s ever existed, and it’s not necessarily for his technical ability or speed. There are plenty of shredders out there that can play a million miles an hour solos. The reason he’s so good is that his solos always serve the song, it’s never about ‘How good I am’. Gilmour has never been a show-off guitarist. It’s always about the music, the song, and how the solo can serve the song and enhance it.
Lo entendiste todo ❤❤
Well said.
Na mosca cara.
I can't imagine the moment, as a spectator, when you realize that you have just witnessed the greatest moment in the history of human music.
I hope someday you get to experience that feeling. Everyone deserves to at least once in their life. However, I don’t think anyone realizes in the moment just how special it is, humans have an amazing ability to take things for granted But looking back on it, it was truly beautiful
I was lucky enough to see them in concert as a teen.

could anyone suggest a show, no matter what genre, where everything (lights and show overall) was even more brilliantly planned than at Pulse?
jesus christ "masterpiece" is way too easy word for it
I can't.
:):):):)
Quite possibly the greatest guitar solo of all time.
The greatest perhaps
Many guitarists can rip up and down the guitar neck and have throngs of people screaming after them, but NOBODY can make a guitar sing like David Gilmour can. Nobody.
I was about to mention Knopfler and a few others, but then I realized you're right. Nobody.
Gary Moore could.
I was actually at this concert. My very first concert I've attended. I was blown away. Most remarkable experience!
What a man can do , only with 10 fingers , 6 strings and a tiny little piece of plastic ... Give thousands of people goosebumps and chills on their skins .

You forgot, "And a mountain of talent"
And be so damb sexy whilst doing it!
This was My wife's all time favorite song, it would get played over and over on a sunday morning on number 11. The house would shake, but the neighbors never complained. It was played one last time at her funeral. I cannot listen to it now without the tears streaming down my face, without sadness and joy in my heart. I could not listen to it for a long time after my wifes passing, but now whenever i want to reflect on the happy times we had together, i put this on real loud let the tears fall, and smile at all the wonderful memories she left behind. Thank You Mr Gilmore, for writing and playing one of the most emotional peices of music of all time. It will surely be played when I pass, and rightly so.

Sorry to hear about your wife, but it's great the song has such meaning for you.

Jajajaja
Most 5 minute guitar solos you'd think "Bit excessive'. But when it's Gilmour, man you'd wish they went for 2-3 times longer. The man's tone is insane and that last solo is just beyond words...
I don't know why I'm crying. This song hits you in places you never knew you had. That solo at the end is hands down the best thing I've ever heard in my life. Ever.
David wasn't playing guitar that night, he was communicating with the universe.
You're very right, his form of playing guitar is almost mistic.
I half expected lightning bolts to start shooting out of his guitar
David is king he rules the universe
Hein, thank you for that insight
Sí señor!
Best guitar solo EVER!!! love it love it love it!!!!
i agree...nothing comes close.
There is a lot more than Pink Floyd out there... not saying it is not great but I can think of at least three bands that have achieved a lot better guitar solos.
Ruben Campbell you are wrong :)
Ruben Campbell Think loudly then and let us know...
LOL, being trolled because of a good comment, so pushed to troll back and now accused of being a troll?
Sadly I was expecting a good conversation about music: I know everything Pink Floyd ever recorded and have seen them live twice... at least my opinion of this band did not change by this quite bad experience. It was also good how little time I wasted with you guys. Peace

I can close my eyes and just see him swaying back and forth while doing it!! The entire performance is burned into my mind and I can pull it up any time I need it!!
This song literally brings tears to my eyes… pure ecstasy for the ears and your soul. Even after decades,it hasn’t lost it’s magic.
My entire body was literally covered in goosebumps for the whole solo. That was one of the greatest pieces of music ive ever heard

Tallster3 Agree!! This has to be the best Comfortably Numb I've seen and heard! Loved It! Love watching it over and over! :)
This has to crack the top twenty human achievements of all time.
You don't set the bar very high. OK, it was a fantastic show, but that's all it was - a show. Try building the Hoover Dam sometime. Or finding out how a disease attacks human tissue so you can develop something to combat it successfully. There are at least 18 other examples I could come up with, but for lack of time. So I'm thinking this PF show would not be able to crack the top 20.

I have to agree with you. I've never heard a solo as good as this one, and I've heard a ton of great solos out there. But this one is for the history books.
I've lived 55 years on the planet and this is the best live solo in history. It's perfect.
I’m one year ahead of you brother,
And yet I’m right there with you.
2022 and I'm still coming back for more. Who else is doing the same.
Just goes to show you don't need to play 16th note triplets and tapping like there is no tomorrow to make a superb guitar solo. This is one of the finest guitar solos of all time and it is played superbly, every note is perfect and the bends are incredibly accurate. There is the correct amount of space between the phrases and even though it is played over a repeating chord pattern it doesn't get boring as it is full of emotion. I feel this solo could go on for 10 minutes or more and it would still be awesome. Gilmour at his finest.....
Finally - Its great to see Rick Wright smiling so much and having a great time. This is a magnificent concert.
Personally I believe that this version is actually better than the recording.
By a long way.

My Father passed away in 2003 when I was 18 years old. He never explicit mentioned that he likes Pink Floyd, that he listen to them very frequently when he was young. My Mother told me many years later when I picked Comfortably Numb just to play along in the Background when she was visiting me for Coffee. It is interesting that without any big Influence of my Father, I too listen very frequently to Pink Floyd. Especially this Song.
This Song make me feel connected to my Father more than any other Memory could. Sounds kind of weird, but it is what it is. It's heeling my Soul.

My sister was born 80% deaf in both ears. and now almost 95% deaf in one of her ears, and she is stalling on getting a cochlear implant. Because she has relied on hearing aids for over 5 decades, it's part of her identity which I think is her struggle for moving forward with an implant. When I hear this solo, I describe the sense of hearing as a true gift of mine. imagine what she is missing? What can I say to convince her to go through with the surgery?

Arguably the best guitar solo ever, and Gilmor looks relaxed and comfortable with the strings. He makes it look like it is effortless. Genius on a different level.
The brilliance of the solo isn't in the difficulty of playing to be fair. This solo's not particularly mechanically challenging, it's just... Musically perfect.
@@mooncalf_4534 none of Gilmours music really is about the technicality of it. He just adds some sort of magical soulfulness to the sound and playing which really feels unique to his style which lets him play less yet say more. Another big factor is that he knows exactly how much to play, and when and when not to just let a note ring out, it adds so much atmosphere to everything he plays.
Just shows you don't have to blast up and down the neck at speed to play one of the most brilliant solos ever

I met David Gilmour in 1984 back stage at a concert in Hollywood Calif. He gave me a signed album that I have in my music room. We talked for 22 minutes. I called him…“The Master Of The Stratocaster” He smiled. I asked if I could shake both his hands that make such great guitar solos, he smiled bigger and said “Sure” and shook both hands at the same time, making a cross between us, I smiled HUGE. I asked him to describe his technique of playing guitar, he replied… “I strike a note, bend it, shake it and then release it”…. Yes, he does that quite well, better than any other guitarist I know.
All of us fortunate enough to have seen this show live were in a TRANCE.... MESMERIZED the entire show... as you can imagine. We walked out saying.... What did we just witness? That was out of this world incredible.
