Performance, fucking superb! Camera angles, interesting and provide great views of the brain melting action. I must say, this is far better than any cover of this song anywhere on the internet! I think I once read Fenriz of Darkthrone saying that when he hears this wall of sound kind of early BM albums its like this in your head sounds like an orchestra or synths playing, but you have to like get it. Like when you hear a small live show or a rehearsal and you really "hear" the dynamics and the feedback plus the energy or the band and the listeners and all this noise turns into a pulsing drive and sweeping harmonies lifting the whole thing off the ground. Hypnotic and mesmerising, really psychedelic actually. This song is one of those, this cover brings out this driving wall of sound and builds upon the original production. I think this track is the first I heard from Lycantrop and I may have commented already on it but fuck it. This is a epic reworking of the original. Got into so many other band because of this channel too. Spread the word !!! Lycantrop !!!!

I saw this version a couple of years ago, for the first time. I really liked it. Today i saw it again and i realize it’s more then good. I think Varg really would like this one.
May I suggest something : it sounds different if you play the main riff on the D and G string, 2nd and 4th fret, while resonating the B string, and keep the resonance during the whole riff. It sounds closer to the original, gives a darker, trashier and more organic tone. That being said, I use your cover to jam on it everyday, so thank you so much. I love this cover so much.

Honestly, the whole cover of one of my fave burzum songs is awesome, I love the mix, the vocals and atmosphere are on point, I prefer the mixing on this version to the album, and... You absolutely nailed the intro, those opening riffs are actually some of my a time fave black metal riffs
