I don't know how to say this, but Varg was inspired by something supernatural when he made this song, in 2017 I was hugged in the middle of hell by it, gratitude.

Varg adds "far" sounding, undertoned guitar notes that doubling the tempo repeats the riff to make it even more melancholic. yours: ta - da (high) ta - da (low) Varg's: ta -da (high) ta - da - dada - da - da (low) in the original video at 3:32.
Love to hear this music in good sound quality so I can identify the notes and appreciate it more (even though I have been using live videos to actually discover the real intentional sounds of the song).
